I'm tired today, forgot to set my alarm, either that or I turned it off at 5:45 when it goes off instead of hitting snooze like I usually do.  Played poker last night pretty late, I won so I guess it was worth it -- a monsterous $30 pot ($10 of which was mine anyways).  Just felt good taking Tim and Mike's money I guess :)

Holy cow I'm tired, I want a burrito right now.  It's looking like Friday I'll be at Gov's Park for sure, after that I have no idea what's going on.  Jess's cousins will be here again, actually one is moving here quite soon for 6 months or so, that should be pretty cool.

Wow, tired.  New MP3 is up, that's about it.  *yawn*

Tidbit of useful information you all may wish to know ... I have known this for some time but never figured out why I'd want/need it until recently.  If you want a web page to not be crawled by search engines (meaning, it will not show up on google, msn, yahoo, etc. after the engine re-crawls your site) ... simply insert this meta tag into the header of your page:
<meta NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">

Laetitia is a rock star, seriously.  I'm on pace for a 33 MPG tank right now, after the drive to work today I'm about 10 miles shy of 30MPG and I've got just under a quarter tank left.  My car is like wine, it gets better with age.  I've never gotten this good of mileage before.  I'm on my 5th consecutive tank of easily clearing 400 miles on that tank, and currently I'm at 439 miles with a quarter tank to go!   That's why you treat your car like I do, she comes in when the goin' gets tough (er, when gas prices explode).

I am having a very hard time justifying the purchase of a new windshiled.  It's all my car needs to be completely rennovated.  New muffler, all new belts, new moonroof guts, new alternator -- I've done all this in the past year, but the windshield, that may just remain cracked.  If you look at it, I almost replaced it in December, had I done that, by mid-January I would have already had an additional crack running the length of it.  Had I replaced it after that incident, it would have taken a month and a half to get yet another crack across it.  This looks like a rainbow of cracks running across the lower half of my windshield.  Then, had I replaced it, I received crack #4 (as opposed to a chip) in early April.  Yes, in April I had 4 cracks running the length of my windshiled.  A few days later I got another chip which has yet to spread.  So I figured, ok, maybe I should get the windshield now and at least have it last through the summer in perfect shapen.  But I held off - fantastic idea.   Another chip arrived in late May, and this weekend I got another chip which has already started cracking.  My windshield is a disasterpiece, but there's no way in hell I'm replacing something that costs me $100 if it's just going to break again in a month.  I just cannot justify placing a $100 monthly budget for windshield replacement.  Until I get a ticket -- the cracked windshield shall stay.  It'll probably come back and bite me in the ass along with the parking tickets I refuse to pay.   I never pay those damn things, luckily your license lasts 10 years out here and I got a new one this year, so I won't have to worry about my parking tickets until 2015, I should have money by then I hope.

You wouldn't believe how many idiots in my office think that to burn a cd all you have to do is go to "file" "save as" and click to save it to the D drive.   They come to me baffled that this doesn't work.  I hang my head and cry.   Regardless of your education, if you cannot figure out how to burn a cd, you have no business working in any industry where there's even a 1 in 1000 chance of having to look at a computer.

Pictures from this weekend are up, so is a new MP3, enjoy.  Something's changed in the frames on the left ... what could it be?

Kickass weekend, pictures will be up later.  Rafted down the Numbers, shot guns, drank beer, rode jeeps and 4-wheelers, fished, grilled, played poker, etc.  Perfect getaway trip.  Being somewhere for 3 days where my cell phone doesn't work is heaven-sent.  Hell, I just found out around 8:30 last night that the Spurs won the NBA thing, I really don't care but it was nice not caring and actually forgetting about everything for a few days.  I didn't hike yesterday though, the rain on Saturday night detered me into coming back home a bit early, I figured hiking through  mud and with rain clouds around wasn't the safest idea.  So I guess Mts. Tabeguache and Shavano will have to wait.

I'm very tired.  Pictures might be up this afternoon if not tomorrow.  No MP3 today either, I've got a lot to do at work right now, sorry.   Yawn.

Busy ... leaving for the Bonanza Inn after work, rafting tomorrow at Buffalo Joe's down the Ar-Kansas river, 4-wheeling up Flagstaff Mtn. on Saturday.  Sunday I'm either climbing Mt. Shavano & Mt. Tabegauche (both are 14ers) or I'll just do one and climb Mt. Antero -- depends on if Laetitia can handle the road or not.  No time for other updates today, sorry.   Have a great weekend.

Please pray for a family from near my hometown in Iowa, they lost one son in Iraq last week, then, the day before the funeral, his brother got called up to Iraq so he took his own life by jumping in front of a truck on the highway.  Horrible tragedy.   Please pray for Mr. Sexton as well.  Thanks.

Wow, busy.  I don't have a lot of time right now.....  Talk about rain! They finally got our leaky roof fixed in the entry way and got it patched up and the mold removed.   Only took them 20 months (literally), but it's nice.  So last night I enjoyed that, watched the college world series in HD (the dish is working better now) ... wow, that Tulane/Baylor game was incredible!  Then I watched Discovery Channel HD Theatre for awhile, cleand up, grilled, went to bed around 9er.  I made some kickass hamburgers last night.  I'm getting average at packing the burgers myself.  I mixed the hamburger with fresh cut jalapenos and onions last night, then put spicy cheese and more jalapenos and jalapeno-bbq sauce on them.  Oh man, talk about a delicious hamburger!  I would appreciate any advice on packing hamburgers though, one of the 3 I made fell apart, so I just trashed it, but it wasn't fun cleaning the mess on the grill up.

Wow, what a run-on sentence.

Please continue to pray for Mr. Sexton.

Nice weekend here, met all my goals. Friday I hung out around Westminster with Bob, Josh, and B.J. then met up with Jess. Saturday I went and saw Chris, Beth, and Kaitlyn ... stopped by Jess's work, then came home and napped for Sunday. Got up bright and early yesterday and climbed another 14er, Mt. Sheman. Pictures and trip report are on the hiking pictures page. Got back to Denver around 3:30-4:00 ... did laundry, cleaned house (sorta), cleaned car(sorta), called Dad, played on the computer, watched Family Guy (which was somewhat disappointing), and went to bed. Exciting huh?

This week will be work, and I think I'm going to take Friday off to go raft the Royal Gorge with Wendl, Meiners and Friends. The rest of the weekend will involved 4-wheelers, guns, and beer at the Bonanza Inn Bed & Breakfast .... aka .... Wendl's cabin.

Anyways, yup yup. The guestbook will have letter-varification by the end of the day as I'm sick of robots posting bullshit messages in my guestbook. Also I plugged-in so it "encrypts" your email address so you don't get junk mail for posting your email addy here.... spammers were pissing me off too. That's it today, adios.

TGIF - Nothing new here really.  Weekend plans are a constant change so I don't know what's going on.  Weekend goals are cleaning my room/laundry, climbing a 14er, and going to see Chris, Beth, and Kaitlyn.  Everything else is unimportant this weekend, hopefully I'll get them all done.

It's amazing how I've gone from Tom Cruise being one of my favorite actors, to not being able to stand hearing about him or looking at him ... all within about one month.

Uhm, picture of the day and a new story are up, that's about it, have a great weekend.

There's a picture of the man for you, best teacher on Earth.  Please keep him & his family in your thoughts & prayers.  I wish everyone had the chance to be taught by him.

Not much new here.  This weekend I'm climbing Mt. Sherman for sure ... when and with whom hasn't been determined yet, I will finalize those plans today.

Laetitia is happy with her new moonroof system, she's preparing to get a new windshield in a month or so as well.  My allergies are horrible as of late and I'm not supposed to use any eye drops containing preservatives, so they shall remain red.  At least I don't have to put contacts in them to make them even more red, and I can see perfectly.  No complaints here, you just learn to live with some things.

You heard it here first, I think the NHL lockout will come to an end very soon ... very soon.

Please contine to pray for Mr. Sexton.  One of the good things coming out of this is that everyone who I've talked to so far has said nothing but fantastic things about him.  I don't think there's a person on Earth who doesn't like this man.  We all understand he's a great man, teacher, coach, and contribution to society.  I truly hope a miracle can happen, if anyone deserves it ... truly deserves it ... it's him.

..... and on the 8th day (aka, June 14, 2005), Laetitia said "Let Bryan FINALLY install my new sunroof control board today."   And so Bryan crawled up into the depths of the fuse-box and control-board location underneath his dash last evening, and the moonroof again slid open and tilted up just as perfectly as it did on the first day when it was originally created.  And Bryan drove to work this morning with his moonroof open for the first time in about a year, and he reveled at it in all it's glory, and it was good.

Mucho props to Bob for giving me his old phone since he was smart and left Sprint.  I have now entered a modern world of having a color screen and camera phone.  Why I need a camera phone so bad I do not know, for I have a camera.  I don't intend on purchasing a television set that also does my laundry, so why my phone needs to take photographs - I'm unaware.  However, should I need it, it is now available.

I want to climb Mt. Sherman on Saturday .... hmmm, 14er season already ... giggidy!   It's an easy one (considering it's still a 14er ... so it's like saying that softcore porn is family friendly as opposed to hardcore porn.  ok, it's not at all like saying that) I Landed free Nadas tickets too, didn't realize they're playing at 4pm though, so might not make it, we shall see.

Got paid today, and I'm not going to be a dipshit with this check and send it all away to bills, I'm going to have some fun with this one.  I deserve it.  And since I've been so good at not spending any money for the past month and a half, I'm going to take a quick minute to brag.  It's my website, I can brag here if I want, I'm not twisting your arm to read this so I can sound happy/cocky/rude/excited when I want!   Yes, I'm proud of this.  I was able to make it a month without charging up my credit card.  This month's bill -- $80, and that has my cell bill on it too (the whopping post-tax $40 that it is).  Much different from my standard monthly Discover bill of $700-$800, but it was tricky.  Now I just need to pay off my last 0% balance I have ($2350) and my new 0% interest bed frame/mirror ($300) and I'll be home free.   Expect, by October, for Bryan to have $0 debt whatsoever, no car payment, lower rent than last year, LASIK (which was worth every penny) paid for, a maxed out Roth IRA for 3 years, all while putting 10% of salary (before the 10% match) into his 403B (same as 401K but for not-for-profit orgs).  Giggidy giggidy giggidy.  we're a mere 4 months away for starting to save for a down-payment on a house.  I'm not a "$2000 down payment" kind of guy -- gotta put down at least 10% as a personal goal, and here that means I probably need about $22,500 minimum.   Yeah - that'll take awhile if I continue maxing out my Roth, which I fully intend on doing.  But I intend on buying and being able to afford it while living by myself if I need/want to by the time I'm 30.  So that's my story.

Have a lovely burrito day.

I was going to talk about Michael Jackson today and how thankful I am that he was acquitted by the lying image-thieves his accusers were, but there is something a trillion times more important to talk about, but for privacy's sake, I won't.  I'll leave it at this.  PLEASE pray for my high school English teacher, and favorite teacher in the world by leaps and bounds .... Help my sister, Cori!

How are you gentlemen?  Ok, my greeting today was stemmed from the MP3 of the day.   I had my "unsorted MP3's" on random mode last night while scanning pictures and this song came on, I had completely forgot about it's existance.  Bogz sent it to me junior year of college, I think 2000 or something, and I was like "what in the flying funk is this song?"  .... then it grew on me.  It's kinda like Smith's "meow man" joke, not cool at first ... but a couple times after you've heard it, it's some quality stuff.  All Your Base Are Belong To Us!!!   Never heard of it?  Just google that last sentence (not the "never heard of it" sentence, dipshit), I haven't done it for a few years, but I bet it'll yield about a trillion resutls, even if you put it in quotes.

Anyways, no weekend plans here.  I am thoroughly enjoying this streak of no weekend plans.  No travel this summer at all except for the wedding in late July .... ahhh.  I think tonight I'm going to go berzerk with the satellite until ESPN comes in in HD as that has been pissing me off.  Then maybe grill up some brats.  I'm convinced the only reason I like brats is it gives me an excuse to eat saurkraut.

By 8:15 this morning, I already heard The Hand That Feeds (NIN), Duality (Slipknot), and Happy? (Mudvayne) on the radio.  That was the last straw.  No more, I need to not listen to KBPI for like a year now to make up for this ridiculous murder of those songs.  Seriously, Duality has been out for about 14 months, do we need to play it 10 times a day?  Sheesh.  The funny thing is, it's "Flush The Format Friday" ... meaning they're supposed to play stuff they don't   normally play -- a new format.  Yet by 8:15 I STILL hear NIN, Slipknot, and Mudvayne!! Ri-fucking-diculous.  That'll be my last bitching about that.  Winamp is back indefinitely.

Along with scanning the rest of picture book #2 last night (a few are posted here and there), I started to organize my "unsorted" folder of MP3's .... wow, tons of duplicates already.  I had like 6 copies of "I Touch Myself" by that Divinylsifjpaiodjfklad;jfka group (I have no idea how to spell it).  Anyways, that'll be a nice project to wrap up, maybe I'll do that this weekend, who knows who knows.

I'd like to climb Mt. Sherman this weekend but am feeling entirely too lazy to do so.   Plus not running since the Bolder Boulder and most likely never running again will strongly hurt my capability to climb 14ers.  Humph.

YOU'RE INTO DEPRESSION 'CUZ IT MATCHES YOUR EYES!!!! YOU'LL BLEED OUT OF CONTROL!!!   I love the deftones.

Help my sister, Cori!

The picture pages are under major rennovation.  I did a ton of work on them last night.  Lots of links are messed up as I'm re-organizing everything yet again.   We'll have a....

Iowa Page
Colorado Page
Trips Page
Snowboarding Page
Hiking Page

That'll be it when we're done, the drop-down box will be much more simple and everything will be easier to navigate, I promise.  It's kind of a mess right now.

Last night I didn't do much, scanned a bunch of pictures.  Some prom 1997 pictures are up, and I added some visual aids to some stories.  The chair-fire movies are posted in that respective story, along with more fishtank vs. bryan's arm photos/cards ... I wish I scanned more of my stuff from college before I trashed it.  I'm good at scanning everything before I trash it.  I guarantee you if you've sent me a letter, card, or anything in the past 4 years I have it scanned.  I may post them someday.    We're about a 3 months away from me hopefully having about ten times (literally) the amount of pictures posted on this site.

If anyone has any Prom 96, Prom 97, Spring Break 98 (Panama City Beach), High School Graduation, or other high school pix -- I'd strongly appreciate having them.

That's all for now.  Picture pages are the major focus of this site for now.   And I WANT WIL$ON MATERIAL .... STAT!!!  New MP3 is up, and I wish they'd play it on the radio more, they stopped playing it cold turkey over a year ago I think.

Want to help my sister, Cori?  She's raised over $2000 so far ... if you work for a matching gift company, a simple $25 will put her $50 closer to her goal!! It's for a fantastic cause, you should really help her.... really.  I haven't donated yet as I'm broke, but I will be here in a month or so.  By the way, I just realized I never posted it -- had a total of $219 for the Matthew Binns fund ... with $69 going to the guestbook and $150 going to the New Mexico animal thing in his honor.  I'm way overdue in announcing that.

First thing's first (wow, what a dumb statement that is) ... we all know how ridiculouly long it takes me to do somethign for this web page.  I FINALLY converted the voice mail Corey Taylor left me to .wav format as I found a converter from my MP3 player .... it's available here and on the downloads page.

I really need to stop listening to the radio, this is getting ridiculous.   And to answer the question posted in my guestbook last night, no - I don't particularly care for Mudvayne.  I think they're somewhat of a Slipknot rip-off and they play it way too much on the radio.  WAY too much.

My phone doesn't so much work any more.  It won't let me make calls as of I don't know when,  but I tried about 30 times this morning and it just says service is unavailable.  I've tried from Denver, Arvada, Wheatridge, and Golden ... so pretty sure it's my phone and not a network thing unless all the towers in the area are hosed.  I hate Sprint.  Really, I do.  Nothing became of my letter to get a free phone, so I'll be leaving them when I can verify that another service has better range for my traveling needs.

Well, I officially have no more DVD burner.  Mine got sent back for repairs a week and a half ago (under warranty) and I returned Jessica's to her last evening.  Maybe now I can find something a bit more productive to do with my time than burn the entire Nightmare On Elm Street series, which I'll obviously never watch.

After thinking about it for the past 9 days, I'm about 80% sure I'm giving up running.  That Bolder Boulder just pissed me off way too much.

Good response from the old-school pix I put up, I'll put up a boatload more on Monday, I promise.  Hell, maybe even tomorrow, we'll see if I have time to do some scanning tonight.  Until then I guess I'll just put up a bunch more ticket stubs on the music pages, those are due for a tremendous update.  Oh - I updated the About Me page too.

ATTENTION:  I need Wil$on pictures and stories .... if I get some I may re-enable the Wil$on pages as I have them blocked from google now.  It takes a few months to get fully blocked ... but they are now.  You can't access any of the Wil$on pages (which are up, just with a hidden link that only I know) through any search engines, only through this site ... and this site doesn't reference his real name any more, only Wil$on ... yup yup.

Hmmm, what else what else.  Picture of the day today is of horrible quality, don't know why.  I have some light bulbs for sale on ebay right now, don't think they're going to sell, though.  If any fleetmack.com reader wants them I'll ship them for a buck.  Have a nice day.

Good weekend, went to Gov's with Eyan and Ryan on Friday, Saturday I went to Old C's with Jess, Andy, Bob, and Jenni.  Sunday I cleaned house, literally, and Andy got a grill.  Yesterday I golfed and went and saw Josh at Old C's for awhile, today I'm back at it.

I'm starting to work on posting all my high school pictures, and they have started going up today.  If anyone has any they'd like me to post, send 'em my way.   I'm in the thick of the process of scanning all my pictures, so as I get them organized by time and if my memory allows me to index them to a certain date/time, I shall post them in the appropriate category.  Eventually I'll have about 75% of my pictures posted.  As for the fleetmack.com revamp -- the picture pages are a work in progress so I count them as done.  The guestbook and forums are done.  All I have left is to do the main page and the naviagation.  It won't be a big roll-out, just piece by piece as I don't care for a big rollout, it really just doesn't do much for me.  And I don't want this to look like one of those shitty obvious database sites, I want it to look custom ... becasue it is.  Simple, custom, enjoyable ... that's what I shoot for with this site.  I don't want anything too elaborate.

Anyways, there's a lot of new pictuers up.  Some new New Year's Eve pictures, some pictures from 1995-1997 on the Iowa pages, some more pictures from the April 2005 Iowa trip, and some others here and there -- and today's pic of the day is a personal favorite that I finally got scanned.

I'm pretty busy so that's all for today, adios todos.

Want to help my sister, Cori?  She will be very very happy with you.

First thing's first -- if ANYONE has this song (Oran 'Juice' Jones - The Rain) in MP3 format - I will give you my soul for a copy.  I've been trying to find this song since Napster came out back in 1999 and can't find it.  Why on Earth are they playing this on KBPI?

ROYALS SWEEP THE SPANKEES!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suck it, Bob.

Speaking of KBPI, I realized 2 things lately... one was obviously the excessive playing of Mudvayne's Happy, but the other was a fantastic thing -- they finally realized that Linkin Park is downright horrible and stopped playing them!  I tracked the playing patterns of KBPI from 8-5 for 20 hours and only heard Linkin Park one time.   Today I shall post the results of what Denver's hard rock radio station played in 20 hours (2 1/2 days) during the daytime ... artists and how many times they were played:

Nine Inch Nails:    14    (12 of which was their new song, The Hand That Feeds... which I am now sick of even though it is bashing Bush)
Metallica:               14     (big surprise)
Korn:                     14     (not bad, I love the bass guitar)
Slipknot:                 12     (9 of which were Duality .. .fine by me, best band ever)
AC/DC:                 11     (I hate everything with the old singer, which is 99% of the songs they play)
Mudvayne            10     (all of which were Happy)
Tool/Perfect Circle:  10
Alice In Chains:        8
Green Day                 8   (all of which were Boulevard of Broken Dreams or American Idiot)
Drowning Pool:        7
Stone Temple Pilots: 7
Ozzy/Sabbath:        6
Nirvana:                 6
Breaking Benjamin:    6
Godsmack:                 6
White Zombie/Rob    5
Pink Floyd                 5
Marilyn Manson        5
System of a Down    5    (way less than I expected)
Papa Roach            5
Chevelle                     5
Led Zeppelin            5
GNR                         5

So what did I learn?  They don't play Ozzy nearly as much as I claim they do.   System of a Down is slowing down in popularity.  They don't play Zeppelin or the Doors nearly as much as I thought.  They play Mudvayne entirely too much, same goes for NIN.   They play anything by Metallica even though I like about 33% of if.    Not enough Pantera.  They've done a fantastic job getting rid of Linkin Park, Disturbed, Staind, Chili Peppers, Hendrix, RATM, and a few other bands that I am so sick of.  I used to love RATM... can't stand most of it anymore, they play it way too much.  Those other bands are downright awful.   Drowning Pool, Chevelle, and Papa Roach are just there ... pretty worthless and I don't think anyone would miss them, but they don't cause pain to my ears the way DMB or The Cranberries do.

Weekend plans .... uhm, think I'll stay home tonight and scan pictures (yes, I'm a loser), tomorrow probably go to Old C's or something but I'll be good to conserve money.   I'm in the process of eliminating credit card usage.  Haven't swiped a card since early May ... if I can make it to June 20th without swiping a credit card, I'll be in fantastic shape.  Really.  I need to go see Kaitlyn (Chris & Beth's baby) this weekend too, that's WAY overdue.  There'll definitely be some pool-sitting-by and some Laetitia-cleaning going on.  Monday there'll be no fleetmack update as I'm golfing in the Mines Alumni Golf Tournament at a kickass golf course -- Fossil Trace.

Anywho ... got my pictures of me running the Bolder Boulder, I look moist.   They're on the CO pix page, one is picture of the day.  Be safe this weekend, Go Royals!

Want to help my sister, Cori?  She will be very very happy with you.

Weird, same song as yesterday only a different singer this time, hmmmm.   I'm still in a shitty mood.  Things could be worse, but I'm very disappointed in myself still, pathetic pathetic pathetic attempt at running.  Horrible.   Terrible.  Atrocious.  Shit, I need to stop thinking about this, it's getting me pissed off again.  By the way, the time on their website is a minute slow, I have a dispute in right now ... but even after giving me a minute, still horrible.   48:30 .... 10K -- that's a 7:45/mile pace.  30 seconds/mile slower than I needed.  Pathetic.

CONGRATS TO CHRIS & BETH!!! They gave birth to Kaitlyn (sp?) Elizabeth Tigges on Saturday ... 7 weeks premature .. at a monsterous 4lbs 13oz (7 weeks early, wow, big!).  I meant to announce this yesterday but I'm insanely busy at work. I'll post pictures when I get them.  So needless to say, Chris & Beth will not be moving back to Iowa as soon as they thought :)

Korn and Metallica are currently tied for the lead ... closely followed by NIN ... with several others close behind.  What am I talking about?  Find out tomorrow or possibly Friday on fleetmack.com.

New recent pictures are up on the Colorado pages

Can you believe it's June already?  I can because it is.  I have a new moonroof motor in route.
