Is this month seriously over already?  Hmmm, at least it's payday.  After my NEXT paycheck - I will officially never even have to make credit card payments again.  As I've said before - I have my balance paid off on my 0% cards, but I've been constantly charging about $800-$1200/month of random shit each month lately...that'll all come to a close in a month, I can't wait!

Know what else I can't wait for?  Smith's webpage-business to go live, that'll be so damn cool.  It'll be everything you imagined it could be.  I'll be proud to link to it, and hopefully you'll all laugh and help him make $$.

I have no time for this right now, goodbye.

This whole election thing is pissing me off.  I can see why people judge Democrats when the uninformed dipshits go out and do shit like this - then it gets associated with Kerry even though he doesn't run his campaign that way.  Now I'm starting to see the purpose behind the "I approve of this message" thing I made fun of for so long.  Worthless fucks - if John Kerry needs your help - he'll ask for it.  Don't put words in his mouth.  It's dipshits like you up in Boulder that are going to lose this election for us.  And one more thing to you hippies - a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush -- because you're just taking away votes from Kerry.  Think about it - is Nader or whoever your stupid-ass reform-party candidate is really going to win?  Who would you vote for had you not voted for him?  Exactly.  You already cost us 4 years....don't set us back another 4 - please.

Take this quiz and see how much you know -- could you become a citizen if you were an alien?  I missed 4 questions (out of 100 - no I'm not lying.) You will all probably miss 4 because that's just for Iowa -- and I'm sure you don't know the 411 on Iowa - so I'll tell you.  Tom Vilsack is Governor, and Chuck Grassley and Tom Harkin are senators.  Now go miss less than 4 and tell me about it, I'm sure you will.
ok - got a few emails about this -- about which ones i missed ..... i remembered 3 but had to go re-take the test to find the 4th one i got wrong, the 4 i got wrong were:
How many supreme court justices are there? (answer = 9, i guessed 13....I'm an idiot)
What is the beginning section of the constitution called?  (duh...can't fucking believe i got that wrong - the preamble)
What are the 3 basic freedoms guaranteed by the bill of rights? (everyone can narrow it down to 2 in the blink of an eye, I chose the wrong one)
Which Amendment doesn't involve the right to vote?  (honestly - who the hell knows that?! I don't even remember it and I just re-took the test)

I'm obsessed with this Mozilla FireFox browser.  Screw Internet Explorer - I will never use it again.  The built-in google is sweet, the no-popups (without needing a 3rd party tool) is the coolest...and don't even get me started on the tabs!  wow, this thing rules.  I strongly recommend it.  I'm going on 3 weeks with no IE.

It's burrito day - and this is THE most random site I've ever come across, but damn it's sweet! Thanks for sending it to me! :)

September 28, 2004

Gotta make this quick.  Met up with Tim, RussL, Brian, Carrie, and a bunch of others at Woody's for awhile last night.  It's good having Tim (as seen here with Katie and Riki) back living in Denver - giddy up!  Headed home around 10:30 and man, I feel like I'm living in the movie The Crow.  There's so much damn rain it's ridiculous.  So I got home and watched The Crow while I tried to sleep.  Yup.

Got a busy day so I'll keep this quick.  In fact, I'm saying nothing today -- I'll just put up a new pic, MP3 (a goodie!), and Wil$on picture for you - gotta hop to it.

September 27, 2004

That was a sweeeeeet weekend.  Friday night we chilled out at Carrie's place....bbq, hot tub, cards, calling people with *67 and messin' with 'em.  Good times.  Saturday I wasted the day.  Slept half the day, then watched Swingers, most of Rocky I, Kill Bill vol. 1, half of Rocky IV, A Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. etc.  I only left my couch all day to go to Papa Murphy's to get a take-n-bake.  Sunday - duh - football.  The Seahawks completely dismantled the 49ers 34-0 - we rule.  How'd ya like Ken Hamlin's INT in the end zone?  Glad I bought that jersey, that guy's a beast!  Next week we have a bye, then we get the Rams -- and then the big games - NEW ENGLAND'S GOING DOWN!!!!  Mark my words, Seattle will be the team to beat the Pats, we can do it.

Last night after football I went for a huge run.  My goal was to run around 8 miles, but realistically I expected to run 6.8 miles -- I exceeded both and went for a gargantuan 8.6 mile run.  I had to drive my car along the route this morning to map it's distance exactly.  Cool thing is - I wasn't even tired, well, out of breath I mean.  The legs feel it a bit today but no biggie.  So this week I'm going to do (2) 5K runs (fast), (2) 4 mile runs (fast) - then go for a 10 mile run (jogging (pronounced "yogging")) on Monday morning probably.  This running thing is seriously getting too easy for me, I'm loving it.  I wonder how far I could run someplace where the air is breathe-able?

Not much on the agenda this week, running will take focus.  Gotta prepare for MACKTOBERFEST (copyright sign that i'm too lazy to insert).  I'm pretty sure Tim moved here yesterday, I should call him and find out, I'm sure we'll get together sometime soon.

Oh - by the way, I smoked up in fantasy this week (both leagues) AND DIDN'T EVEN GET 1 POINT FROM A RUNNING BACK!! Thanks Hasselbeck and Javon Walker! :)  I should be in 1st at Old C's yet too - the only games I didn't get right were KC and Jacksonville....both last second wins (literally) that went the wrong way for me.  Shit.  Ah well - I'll probably get 92 points out of a possible 105.

September 24, 2004

I'm hopeless....seriously.  Hopeless and pathetic.  Whatever.

Have a great weekend - new MP3 is up - so is pic of the day, not much else though.  Sorry - really busy....as you should realize by no update yesterday.

I put an old article up as the main one on my religion page - just realized that I've stuck to that writing word-for-word since I wrote it and still strongly feel that way.  Figured some of you could use a re-read.

September 22, 2004

Damn it got cold in a hurry - from 90 degrees about 5 days ago to the 30s just like that. But what's good about this?  THE SNOW IS HERE!!!!! Play time is right around the corner :) I can't fucking wait!! Oh man, it's like hockey playoffs all over again, I'm that excited! And the Seahawks are 2-0 - oh man, I need to calm down.  Man I love the winter.

Hmmmm, I ran and lifted last night - exciting huh?  I ran 3.1 miles (5K) in 22:26 last night -- tied my record.  I need to take today off, and run the same thing on Thursday and Friday -- then Sunday I run 7 miles in whatever time I feel like running it in -- then next week it's on to step #4 of my 10K plan - try to get to 4 miles in under 30:00 minutes...that should take me about 2 weeks I'm thinking - maybe 3 due to MACKTOBERFEST.  Hell, I should actually make that goal to make it 4.1 miles in under 30 minutes shouldn't I?  That'd only make sense. Add another week or two there - because .1 of a mile should take around 40 seconds at that pace - it'll take awhile to slice that much time off!  I want it to be EASY to run a 10K in under 45 minutes - which is about 7:15 minute miles.  That'd cut about 6 minute off my time from last year - or one minute per mile. Yup, figured you'd like to know that.

MACKTOBERFEST (with a copyright sign after it) is drawing near.  If you click on the banner, you'll see that there's a new ad for it out now (it was on Monday) -- there will be about 800 more flyer posted around Denver this week.  I got a negative RSVP from Fred Durst - so now I don't need to worry, I can't believe I actually sent that faggot an invite, what was I thinking?  We've still got Alicia Silverstone and Elizabeth Berkely coming, though.

Wow, Mr. BeverlyLong just emailed my hotmail to tell me that "Size Matters".  That's honestly the first spam my hotmail has gotten in months.  I still have not received one spam to my fleetmack.com account -- don't even fucking try it buddy.

This weekend will likely be low key.  Maybe, MAYBE hit a happy hour for a little on Friday - then that's about it for plans.  Maybe lay low again - like last weekend, that was nice -- and cheap!  Have I told you that after next week (the 30th) I will no longer have expensive credit card statements?  I have been out of debt (meaning - carried over debt) for about 6 months now - but have still been racking up HUGE monthly bills due to purchases (guns, ski passes) and trips (iowa, minneapolis, vegas, etc.).... but I'm not traveling for awhile.  I'll go to Iowa for Christmas....and if the Eagles and Seahawks play in the playoffs Duane and I are flying to wherever the game is.  He's an Eagles fan.

That's it for today - new MP3 is up, so is a new picture - I'm busy - got a boatload of computers to rebuild these days, mine included.

September 21, 2004

I found out the coolest news of the last 6 months last night.  Oh man - the LOVELY Denise Richards is going to be in December's Playboy.  Do you know how insanely hot that woman is?  Wow, since I saw Wild Things I've liked her. She's not top-10 material, but she's damn close.  She's like Amanda Peet.  Yummy.

Speaking of - I've decided there are two types of women I'm attracted to - 1) Women who are hot (Brooke Burke)  2) Women who are my type (Tara Dakides).  I've decided to officially add a girl to my top 5 of girls who are my type.  Tobey Torres.  For sure.  She may be a passing fad in my mind thought.  Enough about women - on with the news!

Could Daunte Culpepper fumble a few more times please?  That guy is such a tool.  Can Randy Moss ever NOT look completely pissed off?  What a tool.  Terrell Owens actually DIDN'T piss me off last night during that game....and he got me enough fantasy points to keep me 2-0 on the year and put me in the lead (Denver league) by a monstrous 65 points already.  That's just insane.  I play Bob next week - how on Earth is Bob in second place after picking Eddie George first overall?  He's going down hard this week.  I'm shooting for a 3rd place finish in fantasy baseball - very disappointing :o(

I had to turn down my opportunity to run in the Outward Bound Relay this weekend - conflict of schedule.  This disappoints me :o(

It's not news to any of you that my eyes have been having MAJOR issues lately because I haven't stopped bitching about it since early August. Anyways, late last night, I'm going through about my 3rd round of eyedrops and cleaning shit out of my eye (don't ask) -- my left eye is about 1000 times worse than the right, trust me.  So last night I have my eyelid flipped back on my left eye and I see an eyelash way up in there.  When your eyes water all day like mine, you lose eyelashes by the dozen, I'm surprised I have any left.  So I lightly dab my finger on my eyeball to get the lash out and I realize it's not a lash - but a hair.  I grab it and pull - I have no idea how a hair this long got in my eye - but I shit you not, it was no shorter than 2 inches.  Now that may not be that big to you, but hold your hand out - realize how big 2 inches is - then realize there's a hair in your eye that big.  As I'm pulling this hair out of my eye from under my eye skin up behind my eyeball - it's just caked with shit - I mean caked.  Picture taking a tongue depressor.....this tongue depressor is the hair.  Now dip the tongue depressor in tar and pick it up.  Can you even tell it's a tongue depressor except for the part that is still a stick?  Nope.  The only way I could tell this was hair was by the part that was still on the eyeball and not back behind it.  All this eye matter shit was all over it.  I can only imagine how long it's been there.  I may have found the source of my recent eye problems.  Hopefully this fixes some stuff.  Nasty huh?  I thought it was cool.  Even cooler than the time I got a thing of ear wax the size of a june bug out of my ear with a Q-Tip like 5 years ago, man that was cool - probably the best moment of my life.

This weekend should be chill...still conserving money here - saving to max out the Roth.  I got shit to do, can't spend my morning typing the same old bullshit today, sorry.

September 20, 2004

That picture will go in my feel-good file.  That was so damn funny.  I'm still laughing at it, hahhahahahahha.  By the way - the Seahawks are 2-0, both victories are on the road.  Who says we can't win on the road?  Sheesh. Time to head home and play a couple of division rivals - the 49ers and Rams.  That'd be a pretty nice 4-0 start, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.  I'm sitting at a whopping 90 points in my Old Chicago league (with 1 point won tonight if the Eagles win) -- pretty good considering I lost 14 points on that Bears game and another 13 points on the Skins game.  And if Terrell Owens gets at least 60 yards tonight OR one TD - I beat Jameson in the Denver fantasy league.  Things are good, my friends.  However baseball is over, I lost so I'm in the consolation championship game - yup, I give 2 shits about that.

Had a great laid-back weekend.  Went to Potts with Dunner, Josh, and Bob on Friday night.  Some weird girl is obsessed with me now because of my "sexy eyes and arm hair".....uhm.....ok weirdo.  Saturday I bought new glasses, and ran down to Castle Rock to do some outlet mall shopping -- Aeropostale jeans for $14 - giddy up!  Went over to Carrie's place to watch a movie and grill on Saturday then crashed early, 10-ish maybe?  Sunday Sunday Sunday!  Guess - yup, football - all day.  That's it.  Nothing else - just football - from 11am until 10pm. Football.  I love Sundays during NFL season.  Love 'em.  The hi-def NFL games are unreal on the Toshiba - unreal.

Wil$on called me at 6am on Sunday (yeah - he was still up (7am cst) from the previous night) - honestly - to tell me, "I don't know what it is, but I decided there's no way I'm missing MACKTOBERFEST©"  I'm not making this up.  New Wil$on pic today, btw.

This week I've got goals up the yin-yang.  Goals everywhere - gonna run 3.1 miles (5K) 4 times - all right at 22:30 - gotta make that time easy to reach before I move on.  Gonna lift a full round of weights (chest, tri's, bi's, shoulders, legs, back) 1 1/2 times.  Gonna eat good, not going to spend any cash (yeah right).  Got a few new "toys" I want to buy too.  I may just discipline myself for awhile on the spending-money thing though.  Gotta get that Roth maxed out, that's the #1 priority right now.  Gotta plan for an early retirement right?  How many frickin' times can a guy type "gotta" or "gonna" in one paragraph?  That makes me want to quit typing.

September 17, 2004

I'm Bryan Mack and I approve of this website update.

To break my streak of no birthday wishes, gotta say -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!

And no, that doesn't mean I'm going to start with the "happy birthdays" again.  It's now restricted to family members and any present girlfriend I may have.   As of now - the latter is non-existent.

I CANNOT believe we never thought of this in high school.

I went to Old C's last night for a couple of delicious 90 Shilling's and to fill out my week 2  picks....I came to find out I'm tied with Nathan for first place overall in the patrons column...however Wooderson is ahead of me in the Old C's employee column.  I got 113 points - I think there's only like 117 possible?  Isn't that what 16+15+14....+1 = ?

So although the commercials suck - Thank You is now my favorite thing in the world.  If you have a Citi card I recommend you sign up.  Just for activating the service (which is free) I got a free $50 gift certificate to my place of choice -- and they're GOOD places:  Pier 1, The Great Indoors, BB&B (I don't know if we'll have enough time), Best Buy, Circuit City, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc. etc.  I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself!  I think I may line up a scam of sorts to get about 3 more Citi cards and get a few more $50 certificates to buy a SWEET ass rug -- kinda like this one....  Oh man, that's sweet.

I have no plans this weekend whatsoever.  There's talk of a 14er but I think I need to not do that, I'm feeling like a lazy weekend.  The Seachickens play the Bucs this weekend in Tampa.  Apparently Smith is going to tailgate - lucky bastard.  By the way -- it's weird when a friend calls you at 4pm to ask why the grocery store he's currently shopping at doesn't carry peanut butter.  Yes - that was Smith.  (and yes, my Mini Van - Mega Fun shirt was worn by the guy on Last Comic Standing the other night -- I rule, everyone wants to be like me)

Have I mentioned lately how cool MACKTOBERFEST is going to be?  Holy shit.....have a great weekend.  I have Stone Sour to listen to and Oracle problems to address.

September 16, 2004

I'm Bryan Mack and I approve of this website update.

I'm in a pissy mood today.  I haven't gotten a lot of sleep the last few nights, not sure why - just not sleeping well I guess.  The allergies are getting the best of me.  But yeah, piss poor mood these days.

I've got something incredibly cool I'm working on lining up right now - I'll give you one clue....ahh fuck it, I'll spoil the surprise.  I'm 99% sure I'm signing a 6 month lease on a condo in Silverthorn for the winter.  Snowboarding all year here we come!  Giddy up!

I've decided I'd better climb a 14er this weekend - can't decide which though.  The popular choices would be Mt. Elbert, Mt. Massive, or Mt. Sherman as they're the 3 easiest ones with the closest drives (besides Pikes Peak) -- but I'm thinking of doing a bit further of a drive and a blue mountain (like Harvard or Yale or something).  I'll make a decision this afternoon and let you know.  It's really entirely too late to be climbing a 14er, we'll probably get snowed on.  Whatever.

I had a lot to say today but yet again, I don't remember it.  New Wil$on picture is up and new MP3 as well.  Bye.

September 15, 2004

I'm Bryan Mack and I approve of this fleetmack.com update.

PRESS RELEASE - VERY COOL NEWS!!!!!
What do you know about "Vermilion" and "Vermilion Pt. 2" off Slipknot's Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)? Your knowledge on the subject is about to expand...

The song “Vermilion” begins the story of obsession, and “Vermilion Pt. 2” is a haunting continuation of the story. The melody and the overriding theme run through both versions, making them integral pieces to the same complex puzzle. “The differences (between the 2 tracks) are subtle – Vermilion Pt. 1 is about the enrapturing, the buildup, the anticipation and the neurosis,” says Corey Taylor. “Part 2 is the aftermath, the pieces that have to be picked up later, and maybe the guilt of having lived through it.”

A separate video was shot for each version of the track in Los Angeles in late-August. The clip for “Vermilion” was directed by Tony Petrossian and M. Shawn Crahan, co-directors of the “Duality” video. The video for “Vermilion Pt. 2” is being directed by Mark Klasfeld. Expect both videos to surface simultaneously sometime in October, and expect to see another side of Slipknot you have never seen before.

The concept of the "Vermilion" video follows a young woman whose life is completely out of phase with the rest of the world. For every day that goes by her, she grows further away from her imprint of time in this reality. All she can do is stand alone and contemplate her isolation. Throughout the video, the only things in balance are her visions of the members of Slipknot in her subconscious. “This is REAL,” says Clown. “We chose to go down an artistic wormhole, and give our fans a beginning look of what else lies within our thought process. Whereas "Duality" captured the real intimacy of what we share with our fans, with “Vermilion,” we finalize that chapter by grabbing a hold of our fans and taking them deeper into the experience of Slipknot. It's all starting over again – THIS IS REAL!”

until these videos surface, check out Slipknot's PHOTO GALLERY for stills from the 1st "Vermilion" video

I just successfully spent about 95% of my paycheck in under 15 minutes - how do you like that?  My account balance just got credited about 1/2 hour ago - so I paid off my monstrous credit card bill (paid off sausagefest plane ticket, gun accessories, hdtv receiver, directv bill (with nfl package), car insurance, car registration, 2004-2005 ski pass, annual parking fee for work, new running shoes (left mine in Wisconsin last month), over a months worth of groceries and gas, hamlin jersey, and much more).  Remember a few months back when I wanted to buy a gun, about 8 other toys - and on top of that I wanted to fix my car?  Well, I did all that (yes, my car works beautifully now - I fixed it myself (with help from Chris on the t-stat though) -- I have 5 things left to buy, and one can go on hold.

1) Rug for under my coffee table
2) Alex Tanguay or Milan Hejduk Avs jersey - but I won't buy that until whenever hockey starts again - so likely not until Jan. 2006
3) Snowboard Gloves
4) Snowboard Boots
5) Muffler for car

Expect all that to be paid off by Thanksgiving - then it's time to dump $$ into the Roth for 2004, then -- woo hoo! -- eye surgery!!! Can't f**king wait for eye surgery!  As you can tell - money is on my mind today.  I should be thinking of burritos instead.  Either that or MACKTOBERFEST® 2004!!!!!

Kelly rented a car to Sid yesterday - that's pretty cool.  Have a nice day.

September 14, 2004

Payday is tomorrow, I can't wait.  Does anyone need any DirecTV stuff?  I have a dish, receiver/remote, and a 3x4 multi-switch I'm going to slap up on ebay sometime soon, but if anyone wants it first, let me know.

Excerpt of an email I got the other day:
YOU ROCK, not only for that, but for each and everytime I play "Get Inside (Rough Mix)" which is up to at least twenty times per day, thanks to the MP3 Player!!  If you're really quiet, you can actually hear me chanting "Praise Mack for he is the king of all that is good" as Im firing up that track for the upteenth time!! Man, I must be loud if you can hear me chanting from California..but hey, I love that song and dig Stone Sour oh so more than a sane person (probably) should.

For this reason, this morning I retired Volume 3 (The Subliminal Verses) from the cd player for a day (that's rare any more) and put in Stone Sour to give it a listen.  Luckily traffic sucked ass this morning and it took me near an hour to get to work (thanks GW - and yes, for once I can blame traffic on you) -- point being, I got to listen to nearly the entire album this morning (the first release of it).  I was going to pick a new Stone Sour song for MP3 of the day, but was amazed - I just can't pick one, I wanted to post them all, but my bandwidth would HATE me if I put up the whole album, so we're just sticking with Skindred today again.  But I just wanted to share the sheer joy that album gives me, wow - terrific cd.

I have quite a bit to get done today, yes - quite a bit indeed.  INDEEEEEEEED!!!!!  Go fuck yourself, San Diego.

September 13, 2004

Just a first thought here right quick -- if you sent me an email any time on Thursday or Friday -- there's a 99% chance I never got it.  I had major computer issues the past few days, it's my fault.  Yup, just thought I'd let you know that, so don't take it personal.

What a weekend - only one thing could have made it better - ISU could have won.  They played tough, though - and I'm proud of my Cyclones!  The Seahawks rule.  I got my Ken Hamlin jersey in time to wear it for opening week, and what do you know - they have a feature article about him on CBS Sportsline today!  By the way, the Seahawks won 21-7 with an outstanding performance from Shaun Alexander.

Fantasy ball was a very good weekend as well.  In baseball, I knocked off Schau in the first round of the fantasy playoffs - on to better things, we're going for the gold!  In my Denver fantasy league I'm destroying the competition after huge games from Terrell Owens, Quentin Griffin, and Priest Holmes.  I still have my kicker and Javon Walker (GB) playing tonight and I'm already winning  91-49...which, I might add, is 20 points higher than anyone else in the league.  In my Iowa football league, I'm winning 132-94 after a HUGE game from Tony Gonzalez and Daunte Culpepper.  Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Had a great time downtown on Saturday -- watched ISU/Iowa at the Sports Column, sat in the sun, went to the Rio and Oktoberfest (not to be confused with MACKTOBERFEST© 2004).  Did a little bit of swimming in the afternoon, then went to the Nadas at the Soiled Dove on Saturday night, downtown was just crammed full of Iowa people - we're taking this state over.  Suffered a bit of a drawback on Sunday morning when we discovered that someone had stolen Carrie's entire wheel & rim off her car the night before, so that was fun to deal with.  But yesterday was a national holiday - opening day for the NFL - are you kidding me?

Hit up Old C's with Andy and Bob and watched the Seachickens start their super bowl season off right!  Now I'm back at work and I really don't want to be here, I want to be at home doing nothing but watch football or NFL prime time reruns all day.  New pictures from the weekend are up, enjoy them and have a fantabulous week.  I also put up a new MP3 for you today, few will like it.  It's quite strange even for my musical tastes.

September 10, 2004

IF YOU HAVE SENT ME EMAIL SINCE 8-16-04 AND I HAVEN'T REPLIED (UP AND THROUGH 3:28PM ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH) -- YOU WILL NEVER GET A REPLY AS I DON'T HAVE IT - WINDOWS SP2 FUCKED UP MY COMPUTER ROYALLY AND I ONLY HAVE EMAIL THROUGH MY LAST BACKUP - SORRY!

How 'bout them Royals?  Yeah, they suck, but I need to brag when I can.  Joe Randa had 6 hits and 6 runs yesterday's 26-5 routing of the Tigers.  Nice work.

The NFL is off!! How about that game last night?!  Holy shit that was awesome, except how it ended.  I really wanted the Colts to win, but man they pissed it down their leg.  What...3 turnovers in the red zone?  First and goal on the 1 yard line and they didn't score?  Manning getting sacked 10 yards on 3rd down to make a long field goal?  Vanderjagt missing a field goal no matter what the distance?!  Man, they really pissed that one away, can't feel bad for them....but it shows that the Pats are not perfect, they can be beat.  Too bad the entire nation picked the Seahawks to go to the Super Bowl - we're jinxed now, ain't gonna happen.  Bastards.  Screw you:  ESPN, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, Bill Simmons, etc. etc. etc.  Thanks for the jinx.

This is too funny, had to add it to the downloads page - a great chick fight.  It's really good stuff - and no, it's not girls ripping each others clothes off - it's actually just 2 pretty good looking girls beating the shit out of each other.  You WILL enjoy it wether you're male or female, trust me.

It's a weekend FULL of football.  2 national holidays in my opinion.  Tomorrow the mighty Cyclones of Iowa State get to upset the highly overrated and highly over-ranked Hawkeyes of Iowa.  Needless to say, we'll be at the Sports Column early.  Doors open at 9 tomorrow for a 10:00 kickoff (MST)...so we'll be in line by 8:00 I'd imagine.

Sunday, bloody Sunday.  NFL - the most important of all organized sports...yes, even more than Hockey or MLB or Dog Hunting season - this is an important one.....the Seahawks travel to New Orleans to show they can win on the road.  Our season is weird this year.  It goes 2 away games, 2 home games, 2 away games, 2 home games -- this pattern is our whole year.  GO HAWKS!! If my Ken Hamlin jersey doesn't get here by Sunday, look for me to be insanely upset.

Need I mention that MACKTOBERFEST© 2004 is right around the corner?  Yeah, didn't think so...don't miss it!

And on a side note - I'm FUCKING PISSED OFF AT MY COMPUTER!!  My profile crashed yesterday - do you have ANY idea how hard it is to recover a profile and set it back up the way you like it?  It's the biggest pain in the ass in the world.  It's like Windows XP has every setting the exact opposite as I like it.  I hate the bubbly XP Start-bar, I hate the theme with no "My Computer" and "network neighborhood" on the desktop.  I hate the Error Reporting, the sliding taskbar only showing what you recently used, the ....ok, I'll stop - this is going to be a rant, It'll be up by Monday.  Fuck I hate computers.  And by the way, I can't find my backup of my personal address book, so I lost all your email addresses, don't expect any emails from me.  And for some reason, Outlook is fucking up with regards to placing my email folders back in...humph, pain in the ass.

September 09, 2004

Sorry - way too busy today.

September 08, 2004

I had 827 things to say today but I can't remember a single one of them.  They had a poll on the radio this morning ..... this Sunday, would you rather have sex all day or watch football all day?  I originally thought "duh, no-brainer - football"  Then I really got to thinking about it, who would I make this exception for?  Is there anyone?  I even got to thinking - I don't think I'd take all my top 5 girls for the day as a substitute for football.  I'd take Laetitia Casta (yes, that's a NEW picture of her!) in a heartbeat.  But I would honestly question Carmella, Brooke, Krista, and Tara.  Summer and Nicole - also not quite sure.  I think the only girl worthy of me giving up opening day football for (mind you you're NOT allowed to check fantasy teams, watch highlights, or even read about it in the paper) -- is Laetitia.  That's the only worthy living female.  What do you think?

I've decided I'm going to make a web page about each of my top 5 girls.  But my motivation to do this will be I have to finish my music pages before I can do that - that way I'll not start another project I never intend on finishing.  Yup, just came up with that off the top of my head.

Need I remind you that any and all are invited to MACKTOBERFEST© 2004.  See the above link for details.  The only thing I ask of you is that you check your pocket watches at the door, they will not be allowed this year due to the notorious flux-capacitor incident.

New pictures are up of the Democrat/Lincoln/Bross climb from a month ago - I got Carrie's pix scanned finally.  I was un-lazy for once.  Not much else is up that is new, but trust me - I've got lots on tap for you.  And for once, I'm not lying!  Have a good burrito day.  Foil shizzle.

September 07, 2004

There are two countdowns going on right now - one is until Sunday when the NFL starts and the Seahawks begin the Super Bowl season....however, that is nothing compared to the countdown to Macktoberfest 2004, which I should remind you is just a mere 24 days away.  Can you imagine this?  Just 24 days until Macktoberfest?!  Hard-hat rentals are required and I discussed this with the owner of a local hard-hat-rental-shop and he said they're running low, so reserve yours now!

Remember, a megaphone is not required, but recommended.  Don't miss out on this event or you will surely be left behind.  When you see pictures of this blessed event, you will think, "Wow, how could I have EVER even THOUGHT of missing Macktoberfest?!"    Prepare...........

I had the best dream probably of the last 7 years last night.  I met Laetitia Casta.  Holy shit.  I was in the best mood when I woke up...it was so real.  Laetitia and I were just talking, I was having trouble understanding her due to her thick accent (she's French).  She had really curly hair and was wearing a pink sweater.  She was so hot and so sweet.  I didn't have my camera with me, but she did so she took our picture together and promised to mail it to me. She hugged me and kissed me on the cheek, I kissed her on her hand.  Oh man....I need to stop thinking about this.  I'm going on about my 8th year of being obsessed with this woman and that's the first time I actually dreame dof her.

All that aside (for now), I suppose you want to know what I did this weekend, huh?  Typical you.  Well, Friday night I was going to stay home, but Scandless called and was downtown with some other guys from ISU at the Rio, so I met up with them - went to the Rio, Above the Dove, B52's to play some pool and foos, then over to Sing Sing for awhile, then to the Sport's Column, then down to Jeff's place in Aurora.  I woke up there around 9:00ish to Master of Puppets being blared at roughly 200 decibels and made the trip back to Westminster, then up to Loveland to meet up with OGC, his Dad, and his Uncle to golf at Mariana Butte.....

What a sweet ass golf course!  OGC and I tied - exactly tied.  Not very good scores though, 47 on the front and 46 on the back.  Mind you that I had 2 water balls and shot a 9 on one hole and a few 8's.  I drained a 67 foot putt (i measured it) and OGC was sniffing at an albatross (double eagle) on the 16th hole.  We just rule even though we both shot 93's.  Key words: we rule.

Saturday night I went over to Duane's place in Brighton for his party, they were all excited because of the ending of the CU/CSU game...I stayed there for a long time....Sunday I wasted the day, well, not really.  I threw out a ton of more stuff, re-organized all my files and closet junk, and worked very late at night on the revamped version of fleetmack.com set for a Jan. 8, 2005 release date at this time.  Hopefully it'll be sweet.  I've got the main page and frames designed but not implemented.  I'm going to convert all the picture pages to a new format, and hopefully construct my own skin for the forums, it'll be sweet.  You'll be pleased with fleetmack.com 2.0

Technical question for anyone who can figure it out:  Me (and a few others I know of) cannot get our PNY Flash drives to get a drive letter assigned to them.  When you plug them in (USB) it makes the noise and the "safely remove device" thing recognizes the device perfectly, but it is never assigned a drive letter any more so you can't get to the data.  It works fine (XP SP1) on some computers and not others - it works fine at home as well.  I'm stumped.  Anyone had this problemo?

New MP3 and pic of the day is up.  Also a Wil$on picture that I'm sure he'll love is up on the Wil$on page.  I need to start soliciting people for more Wil$on pix and stories to make that a much more regularly updated page.  That's all for now, adios todos!

September 03, 2004

Friday, Labor Day weekend, out at 3:00 today, wearing shorts to work.  Does it get better than this?  Probably.

Golf. Parties. Pool. Being Lazy.  That's my weekend plans.  What's yours?

One of my friends returned a tux last week while wearing it.  Kinda weird, I bet I don't have to tell you which friend it was.

I'll put up a new MP3 for you today along with some other stuff if I get time, I've got shit to do.  Bye, TGIF, go Seahawks! (nice work last night Trent and Seneca!)

September 02, 2004

My Denver league had our live fantasy draft last night - check it out.  I did ok I guess, I got lucky and got the first overall pick, just in case that link doesn't work for you - here's my team:
QB:  Matt Hasselbeck (Seattle)
        Jake Delhomme (Carolina)
RB:  Priest Holmes (KC)
Quentin Griffin (Denver) (no relation to Peter Griffin)
        DeShaun Foster (Carolina)
        Tyrone Wheatley (Oakland)
WR:  Terrell Owens (Philly)
          Laverneous Coles (Washington)
          Javon Walker (Green Bay)
          Keenan McCardell (Tampa)
          Anquan Boldin (Arizona)
TE:     Alge Crumpler (Atlanta)
          Randy McMichael (Miami)
K:      Ryan Longwell (Green Bay)
Def:    Baltimore

I realize a few mistakes here and there and some weak spots.  My running backs are questionable.  I took Keenan McCardell assuming he doesn't hold out.  And I wasted a  pick with Anquan Boldin (he's having surgery next week) because I really don't care and it's typical for me to keep someone on the bench with an injury most of the year (see Mark Prior and Dany Heatley for references on this).  I'm jinxed at fantasy, so expect Priest Holmes to get attacked by a dog or something next week so he won't play all year.

God hated me last night, just ask Bob.  Talk about teasing me, sheesh, that's all I've got to say about that.

My eyes were glued together with Epoxy last night and I couldn't even open them this morning.  I absolutely hate the fall.  I look like the devil today with my red ass eyes.  I hate life during allergy season.  I'm debating between Levinson Eye Clinic and Denver Eye Surgeons right now.  Man I cannot wait until April.  That's it for today, I'm pissed off at the world now because of my eyes and cannot type any more.

September 01, 2004

Are you kidding me?  It's September?  I honestly didn't realize that until I went to type the date, that's just ridonkulous.  Speaking of "ridonkulous" - the O.C. should be back for season 2 here after the World Series in October - I can't wait!  I hope Seth made it to Tahiti alright 8o|  durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

Ted Koppel was on The Daily Show last night, I found that amusing, strictly because of my Nightline comment yesterday.  I've been up since 5:30 this morning, for the first time in a long while I actually went to the gym before work.  I have my live fantasy draft for my Denver fantasy football team tonight so I won't be able to do much more than go for a quick run.  I'm almost down to (3) 7:40/min miles already.  I don't know how I ever ran 6.2 miles @ 7:34 just 15 months ago.  Have I told you that in next year's Bolder Boulder I'm going to finish in under 45 minutes?  That's roughly 7:20/mile.  It'll be tricky but I'm training early.  I'm going to shatter my record and I've been steadily training for 2 months already.  I want to be in the top 2% of all runners who can run a 10K at elevation of 5400 feet.  Currently I'm at about 7-8%.

This weekend is going to rule.  Saturday I'm golfing with OGC up at Mariana Butte in Loveland.  Then that night Duane is having a party downtown so unless I stick around Loveland/Greeley, I'll be at his place.  Maybe squeeze in a 14er someplace over the 3-day weekend if I can.  Then we're a short week until a kickass weekend, the weekned of September 11th is going to rule.  September 11th is the ISU/Iowa football game - so watch out Sport's Column - here we come!  Saturday night the Nadas are playing at the Dove so we'll be heading back a block to Market street for that.  Then Sunday --- oh glorious Sunday --- NFL.  That's right, the NFL is back bitches - hell yes.  Aren't you happy?  You get another 16 weeks + playoffs of be praising the Seahawks.

I ordered a Ken Hamlin jersey yesterday, should be here in a week - yeeeee haw!

Today's MP3 is fitting - have a lovely day!
