Dany Heatley is back!  There's a pic of the man in uniform for the first time since last early April.

TGIT - It's Friday for me!  Damn right, taking Friday off work this week so this'll be the last post until Monday.  Tiffany gets here around 7 tonight, WOO HOO!!  We're heading up to Bear Lake just outside of Estes Park to go snowshoeing tomorrow, that should be pretty sweet.  I haven't even done that in CO, so it'll be sweet.  Haven't been in Rocky Mountain National Park since July of 2001, with the exception of climbing Long's in July of 2003.  Anyways, looking forward to a wonderful weekend.

Does anyone use www.friendster.com?  I just learned of this yesterday, let me know if you use it and if you like it - haven't quite figured out it's purpose yet.

Know something else I can't wait for?   To go see Win A Date With Tad Hamilton.   Seriously, that movie looks awesome!  I'm thinking about skipping work this afternoon and going to catch a matinee.  And by the way, if you are a guy and you go see this movie - even on a date - I hate you, you have inverted balls and should be cast from modern society as we know it.  How horrible does that movie look, seriously?! Wow, and I thought Seven was the worst movie ever, this could take the cake.  And yes, I said that - I hate the movie Seven.   While we're at it, I hate The Sixth Sense as well.   Yup -- try to convince me all you'd like, ain't going to work - horrible movies.   Equally bad as The Matrix.  Wait, I should save this for the "6 Movies You Like That Really Suck Ass" rant I wrote about a year ago that's on my hard drive of my broken computer at home.  I'll shut up now.

Did you check out the new Wil$on picture yesterday?   It's what Wil$on saw from the previous quasi-daily pic of the day with his beer goggles on.

Wow, check it - I put up a new Picture of the day and MP3 of the weekend! Amazing!  G.W. Bush rant should be done late next week.

Anywho - as it's Friday for me, I must inform you to sign the guestbook and post in the forums.  After that, you're free to have a wonderful weekend.

January 28, 2004

Today is the big day, today is the big day.   Dany Heatley returns to the Atlanta Thrashers from a summer car accident that left teammate Dan Snyder dead and left Dany with a broken jaw, torn ACL and MCL.  I mean seriously, just LOOK at that car! He wrecked the hell out of it, to think that he's able to play hockey at the level of play of the NHL in just 4 1/2 months is ridiculous.   We're glad to see Dany back in the NHL - and even more importantly (and selfishly) - we're VERY glad to see my #1 NHL Fantasy Hockey draft pick return to the Devils Smokers! Now it's time for my fantasy hockey time to take revenge on my recent fall from 4th place to 10th place.  Dany - bring me back - WOO HOO!!!!

As you can tell, I've been insanely busy at work, I shall reward you, and Wil$on, with a new Wil$on picture that redeems him from his horrible last picture.  Is it just me or are the 2 women in the 2 pictures wearing the same outfit?  I'm thinking picture 1 is through beer goggles or something, who knows who knows.

I haven't updated the picture of the day or MP3 for awhile - so I will do that later today, for now, I've got to go eat a delicious burrito, as we all know it's Wednesday, aka, burrito day.  One more day until the weekend, yup - taking Friday off as I have a visitor :) WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

January 27, 2004

So I'm rather upset that Shaun White got hurt before he could defend his Superpipe championship last night, hopefully Shaun makes a healthy and triumphant comeback.  Somehow, the boys last night made the Superpipe fun to watch even without him.  Buster Kokubo is a beast, I'm liking that kid even with his gay pink hat.  Danny Kass is also quite a beast.  But the question of the night for me was -- is it just me, or does Ross Powers look exactly like Dylan Klebold with his hair long like that?  Well, they are pretty similar I guess.  One of them likes to snowboard and win gold medals at the Olympics, the other shoots people during high school.  Oh wait. Point being - Ross, cut your hair, stop looking like a Denver punk kid who shoots people.

I really don't feel like typing right now, I just figured you desreved something since I haven't written anything for about 6 days or something like that.  Hope you enjoyed my one whopping horrible paragraph on the X-Games.  By the way, my imagniary girlfriend of 4 years now (Tara Dakides) took home the silver in the women's snowboarder slopestyle after taking a year and a half off from surgery.  Rock on.  Here's another picture of Tara.   Here's another picture of Tara jumping higher than I will ever be able to jump.

See ya tomorrow, when I'll have a new MP3 and Wil$on picture for you....

January 26, 2004

I have about 8000 things to say, but unfortunately won't be able to say them ever as I'll likely be in jail in about 4 hours after I fly to Atlanta and find  a Peachtree Accounting software support "specialist" named Scott and stab him in the temple with a phillips head screwdriver.

Needless to say, I haven't time to update today, sorry.

January 23, 2004

Shaun White cleaned up shop in Vail this week, now watch him this weekend as he will tear apart the Winter X-Games in Aspen.  This kid is amazing, as I mentioned last year - wow, that same link towards the bottom I'm praising Dany Heatley....who, by the way - WILL BE BACK WITH THE THRASHERS ON FEBRUARY 12!!! Once I get Heatley, Alexi Yashin, and Dainius Zubrus back - watch out, then I can ditch Dunham, the shittiest goalie on earth

So what's all your plans for the weekend?  I'd normally say I'm going to Aspen to watch the X-Games, but I don't going someplace warm.  Where the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano.  I don't want to go someplace where the beer flows like wine.   If you don't get any of those statements, I pity you.

I'm going to stay home and chill all weekend.  No nothing.  No downtown.   No Old Chicago.  No Mountains.  No Restaurants.  The only places I'm going all week are the mall (yup, me going to the mall! I need new khakis for work), the video store, and the grocery store.  That's it.  I'm going to be the epitome of relaxation this weekend.  Our hot tub has my name written all over it in permanent marker.

Wow, just checked my stats for the first time in a month or so - only 14,000 unique visitors in January so far?  That's WAY shitty, at this pace I'll be about 3000 below normal for the month.  Oh well, I don't give a flying fizzuck.

I haven't done a quiz of the day for awhile, here goes:
In the movie Clerks, a random customer pops his head in the door and says "Do you have a hubcap for a ___________"?   Fill in the blank.    Send your answers to me, as usual.

About 150 pictures from the ski trip are up, (there was only about 70 up yesterday) New picture of the day is up, and a wonderful J.D. Smith-provided Wil$on quasi-daily picture of the day may be found on the Wil$on page, this picture rates a 9.5 on the cool Wil$on picture scale.  I don't think anything will ever rate a 10 becuase he will always have something that'll surprise me more than the previous.  Check it out....

January 22, 2004

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FATEEM!!!  Aren't January birthday's the coolest?

Wow, lots of pictures to put in the news today!  I just can't think of one reason to leave any of the three off there....

So the Iowa State Cyclones have defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes - bragging rights for a year beeyatch!! And don't send me no football email saying "we'll beat you in football".  I don't care - right now, we're talking about this year and last night, and we won, giddy the fuck up!  Above picture, Senior Jake Sullivan and Freshman Curtis Stinson leave the court.

Alex Tanguay got a hat trick last night to lift us over the Panthers 6-5 last night - and do you know what this means all you fucking Red Wing fans? (ie - Shonda and Lila) - this means the COLORADO AVALANCHE HAVE THE BEST RECORD IN THE NHL!!!! BOOM!!! Plan on this staying that way, especially once we get Forsberg back. Above, Rob Blake and Joe Sakic congradulate Alex

And lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY - Matt Hasselbeck is now in the pro bowl.  Damn right.  Above, Matt's bald head is digitally incorporated very poorly with a Hawaiian backdrop.

So I think the entire world wrote to me about GWB yesterday, I haven't the time for a response right now as I'm hella busy, but I'll get to it - I promise.  I'll be starting a forum to discuss your emails most likely, so look forward to that.  I still will hold to my word of not deleting guestbook entries unless they are an advertisement, but calling me a "stupid liberal" will likely not convince me to change my vote, so try to be a bit more convincing.  Hornick had by far the best response to that, but I will be giving a reply within a day or so if I can find the time....but in the meantime, this should help create 250,000 more jobs huh?  Add this in to the 1000 you created in January and you're now at about 274,000 to meet your 2004 goal.   Luckily we're hiring foreigners now.

I put up some pictures from the ski trip, they are mine and Shonda's pictures - hers are good, my pictures turned out awful, not much exciting there except for the picture of the day.  I would have given anything for my camera's battery to have not died literally the second I was taking a picture of Ty breaking his collarbone.  That coulda been good stuff! Shaun and Justin will be sending me a cd with all their pix on it, so hopefully they'll have some interesting stuff for me to post.

I will FINALLY put up a new MP3 of the day today, am anxiously awaiting a new batch of Wil$on pictures to arrive from hopefully somebody, and am looking forward to watching the X-Games from Aspen this weekend.  I want to go, but driving 4 hours doesn't sound like a lot of fun, I need a "chill by myself" weekend, which is exactly what I intend to do this weekend.  Have a great slursday.

January 21, 2004

Pretty busy so this'll be really quick, but I'll try to touch on a few things.  1) I can't find my USB flash drive, so I can't post pictures or get them to my computer with internet access.  Hopefully I'll find it tonight, either way - I don't have the time to put the pix up yet.  Sorry.    2) Yesterday's question sucked, sorry.  I'll try a better one today.  3) Bite me, I don't care if you want a new MP3, I don't have time....but what I do have time to do, is bitch about our good 'ol president.

I decided to give him a fair chance and listen to the State of the Union address last night -- and at the same time, litereally, I decided to do my taxes.  It was funny listening to him talking about tax breaks and yadda yadda blah blah while I learn that for the second year in the row, I need to pay in to the government.  Damn glad he bought everyone's vote with that $200 tax rebate when I pay that back to him every year, bastard.  What happened to the education president?  Why is tuition up over $600/semester for students since he took office?  Why is our higher education salary (me!) frozen?  Quite the education president while he wants to spend billions sending people to Mars.  Who's going to have the intelligence to go to Mars if they can't afford to go to college?!  Nice work too not guaranteeing social security to anyone, feels great knowing that the money I'm putting away I'll likely never see.   His claim to fame was that there has been "no attacks on American soil" since September 11th.  Point being - since the one that DID take place while he was in office (that didn't happen during any other president's tenure, and just so happened to occur while an oil tycoon is president, vice president, and whatever the hell condoleeza rice is are in office) there hasn't been another.  After he said this, he stated there is an extreme threat yet.  Then tell me Mr. Bush, what the hell HAVE you done?   Got Saddam?  Don't get me wrong, that's cool and all, but it's been 2 1/2 years since Sept. 11 and you have no clue where Osama is yet?!  So while I sat there and listened to a guy who at one point in his speech stated that he "Received a letter from a little girl, age 2".   Yup George, a lot of girls age 2 write you letters.  What a fucking moron....anyways, it was a great feeling knowing a guy was sitting there lying to me while I'm filling out paperwork to send him more money.    One last thing I'd like to state - George at one point said he had a plan that would "Cut the defecit in half by 2008".   I hate to tell you this buddy, but there was a surplus when you got in office, and now you can only promise to cut the deficit you created in half within 4 years?!  My God, somebody please get this man out of office.  I was impressed that one of his main topics was getting steroids out of sports.  (EXTREME sarcasm).  And one last thing I thought was cool is how we're going to allow non-citizens to get jobs so the American economy can flourish.  HEY JACKASS!  BEFORE THE ECONOMY CAN FLOURISH ALL OF OUR OWN CITIZENS NEED JOBS!!!!!

Random link of the day - www.gwbush.com

That's all for today, adios.

January 20, 2004

I have returned from the adventure I shall call the Ski Trip of 2004, even though it was only a 60 mile trip that I make most every weekend - but not every weekened consists of the idioticness that could occur this weekend.  Our townhouse rocked - literally right on the slope, as you will see tomorrow when pictures get posted.   Speaking of - my pictures kind of suck so I'm putting it all up to you all to send me pictures you may have taken for me to post.  I have some cool ones, had possibilities for INCREDIBLE ones had my battery not died so early, and don't remember much if there wasn't pictures taken of it.  I do remember being a regular at the hospital as I was there on 2 separate occasions as Tyler busted his collarbone and Powell broke/dislocated his shoulder.  You guys should really be more careful, getting off the ski lift shouldn't be that hard.

There's a ton of beer, liquor, and food leftover, so needless to say - I'll be living cheaply for awhile to come.

Time for the quiz question of the day:
What am I eating right now?  email me your guess....

Sprint broke my phone, so if you ever want me to call you again - send me your #

Busy right now, more later....have a good one...and let's hope Fleetwood Mac has a better sense of humor than Microsoft.

January 15, 2004

Should I be offended by that comic?  I guess I don't live there anymore.  Oh well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOB!!!!.......I think it's today....

Quickly - I don't have my cell phone, don't ask.  So since I just checked my voice mails, here's some replies:
Bob - I have strap-in bindings, so don't buy step-in boots, just buy regular boots.
Kelly - What's up?  I'll call you tonight when I find my phone and your number.
Riki - I was in the mountains all weekend when you called then at the gym when you called again, sorry that this offends you.

Yesterday's quiz answer was "Drexel", so I will again try to stump you.   If you really think it impresses me if you know the answer from using the internet, I'm not.  And I really don't care if you know the answer or not, I just thought daily quizzes might spice fleetmack back up again as it's been pretty shady lately.  So here goes.....Thursday's quiz question is:
Why was Ozzy Osbourne banned from Iowa in 1982?  Ok, that's too easy...screw that question......here's the real one:
(in caddyshack...)What kind of drink does the Judge offer Danny Noonan while in his office?  email me the answer

I missed an important birthday last week - happy birthday to fleetmack.com!! It turned 2 on January 8th.  It was my birthday present to myself 2 years ago, even though I've owned the domain for about 4 years, I was just too lazy to put anything up for a year or two.

As of 20 minutes from now, I officially have no more credit card debt!  I never had interest, but I'm making a $380 payment today and I have a $0 balance on my credit cards.  Now I just have to pay off my TV, which is 0% until August, and I am 100% debt free - holy shit that feels good!  I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when half of my monthly income ISN'T going to paying off debt!  Also - today my new car insurance kicks in, and since I turned 25 last week, it's way cheap. Down to $60/month for full coverage on Laetitia!  This rocks, that'll save me $500/year!  Free money just for getting old!

The notorious snowboard trip of 2004 is underway as of 7:00pm this evening.  I will not remember it so will be sure to take upwards of 300 pictures so you can all see how much fun we had and how stupid we are.  I hope at least 3 people get hurt, that'd rule.  Tonight I think we'll probably hit up Boulder or something, then at 2:00 tomorrow - it's on like Donkey Kong!  Have a great weekend, see ya on Tuesday!!

Oh - almost forgot - NEW WIL$ON PICTURE IS UP!!!! Yup, it's been a month or so, so be sure to go check it out.  Also, a new MP3 and picture of the day shall be posted.   Feel free to join the forums, they are getting a little more talkative lately, and if you haven't done so yet - sign the guestbook. Adios todos.

January 14, 2004

This'll be quick, I'm going to be pretty busy this morning so need to hop to it.  Went and watched the Avs beat up on Sir-Gay (Federov) and the Ducks last night with Andy and RussL, was pretty sweet - we're only 2 points behind the Canucks and they've played 2 more games than us, giddy up.  Was also pretty cool to see Kariya play (and score!) against his former team for the first time.

Classic Maddox is back - this shit is hysterical! Title: Garfield Sucks.    Read it.

Due to the popularity of yesterday's random quiz question (the answer, by the way, was Memento) I've decided to do that more frequently, moreso, today....

I fully only expect 3 people to be able to answer this question without the use of google.  If you aren't Andy, Buck, or Klaver - I don't believe you knew this without looking it up, watching the movie, or asking somebody, so don't bother trying to convince me.  Buck helped me think the question up yesterday, so he can't get it.   I already asked Klaver yesterday and he hasn't responded yet.  Blah...here goes for the Burrito Day Fleetmack Quiz:
In the movie True Romance, what is Alabama's pimp's name, as played by Gary Oldman?

email me the answer...

I'll put up a new picture of the day, but that's it today, need to get to work.  Have a great day!!!

January 13, 2004

Tuesday, Tuesday.  Yesterday was Monday, and today will be followed by Wednesday.  Pretty typical.

Went to the gym last night, cooked some DELICIOUS food last night, wow it was good - so I'm having seconds for lunch today.  I lead an exciting life I tell ya, I also got to fold laundry last night.  Holy shit you should be envious.   Tonight I get to cut my hair, actually, I'm thinking of paying someone to do it for me, yup - likely at Sports Clips.  I'm looking for a 3rd taker for a ticket to the Avs game tonight, otherwise I shall not be in attendance.  I've been up since 5:15 this morning, had 2 delicious over-easy eggs and some bacon and now I'm dining on some delicious Lucrene Raspberry pre-stirred yogurt.  Fuck I need to spice this website up a little bit - remember how the news updates used to be?

Hell, let's do a short quiz today - and NO CHEATING BY USING GOOGLE!!!  Email me the answer...
What Movie Is The Following Quote From:  "Ok, now, what am I doing?   Oh! I'm chasing this guy!!!"  gunshot   "No, no he's chasing me."

I altered the quote slightly so you can't look it up in google, you cheating fools.

Wow, Maddox put something funny out again! Amazing!  It's articles like that that honor me to have been linked on his site for about a year. (I still am at the bottom of his 2002 page)

What the hell is up with SNL not being on Comedy Central anymore?  That channel is slowly going down the tubes.  They have tons of commercials now, this Reno 911 show is a joke (only an un-funny one), MadTV has taken all of SNL's spots (not to mention the fact that the show sucks) -- it's really pissing me off, that channel used to just rock.   We were watching Dazed and Confused on there the other day, and it just made no sense.  I mean, on South Park in one episode on national TV, they said "Shit" like 150 times or something.  But when the same channel played Dazed and Confused, they didn't say any of the following words:  Reefer, Marijuana, Pot, Bitch, Ass.   This makes no sense - last night on Fox, Happy Gilmore was on, and they didn't even edit "The price is wrong, Bitch!".   Why did Comedy Central suddenly turn into a little pussy station?

And something else that's been irking me lately is.........nah, we'll save that for a new rant.

The week is half over after today! WOO HOO! New picture of the day is up, and MP3 will remain as is for now as a classic drinking song.  How about a new Wil$on story or pictures someone?  I'm struggling in that department.  Any-who - have a wonderful day, because I will (still in a for-no-reason fantastic mood, this is odd)

January 12, 2004

Happy Monday! Wow, what a fantabulous start to a day today, seriously.   I was in such a shitty mood last night and now I'm just all sorts of in a good mood.  Amazing what a good night's sleep and an early-to-rise morning will do.   Got into work this morning and everything has just gone right, it almost makes me forget about the Seahawks' loss a short 8 days ago.  Ok, dammit, now I'm in a pissy mood again.

Vote in this cool NFL Playoff poll I made!!

Looking forward to a short week before the big ski trip, 4 days of work, working out, and conserving cash - that's the end goal.  In fact, I'm in such a good mood today that I'm just going to update the picture, quote, and MP3 then get on with my day - have a great week!

January 11, 2004

A Sunday Update!  Yup, I'm sitting at work right now trying to do a thing or two on this Sunday afternoon, and wow, I have no idea how I'm being productive today at all!  I was out with Scandless and some friends last night late - got pretty hammered in downtown Denver for the first time in ages.  Woke up on Scandless' couch this morning as Johnny Cash would say, "with no way to hold my head that didn't hurt".  I drove Jeff and Katie back to their car and went home and crashed on the couch, thinking I wouldn't get up at all the rest of the day, well, 4 glasses of water later....

I cleaned Laetitia, my room, the kitchen, my bathroom, did laundry, ironed, did dishes, sorted through clothes to give some to goodwill, etc. etc. etc.   Now here I am at work trying to get XP to install on this piece of shit Micron computer that won't take the install for the life of it and it's highly pissing me off, HIGHLY!!!  This is making no sense, I should be at home watching football right now, nah.  I did watch the Colts beat the Chiefs, needless to say I was pretty happy about that.  I don't think anyone can stop Peyton Manning, but we'll find out next week.   I'm pulling for an Eagles/Colts Super Bowl as of this moment.

Wow, I'm horribly boring today, horribly. sorry.  I'll rap witcha tomorrow.

January 09, 2004

TGIF, this has been a good week thusfar but I'll be glad to see it go.  Last night I continued my productive streak and got some shit done finished up my laundry, cleaned my place, cooked some delicious food, even worked on getting my computer back up and running!  Hooked up my new scanner as well, time to back up every picture and document I own onto some DVD's (meaning -  I'm buying a DVD burner in a few months as soon as I get everything scanned.

Weekened plans?   Tonight I shall do nothing.  I'm meeting Scandrett tomorrow at 7:00am in Morrison to head up to Keystone for the day, then we're going to Shad's going-away party that night.  Sunday, probably football and relaxing or something, not quite sure.   With the official ski trip beginning 6 days from this moment (as about 7 people are arriving Thursday night) I need to conserve some cash and keep the liver in tact for a few more days.  OOOOO!  Deftones - My Own Summer just came on, I fucking love this song, in fact, I don't think I've ever posted it as MP3 of the day.  Most people say it's their favorite Deftones song, and it was on the first Matrix's soundtrack, but for me - it's a top 5er.  Wow, imagine this, I'm talking about music.

Family guy sorta sucked last night, I was highly disappointed.

I'm going to make you feel unproductive.  I went to the gym twice yesterday, then I got up at 5:15 this morning, cooked breakfast (egg sandwich day - 2 eggs, bacon, cheese on toast)...then hit the gym for an hour and a half.  I ran last night (only one mile though, at a pace of 7:37 - humph, out of shape) and, will go finish lifting over lunch, and run again tonight.   WOO HOO!  Gettin' back in shape, I need to, after 3 weeks off I was feeling hardcore lazy.

Since some guestbook signer last night appears to be a fan of Aja, I'll pur her up as picture of the day so you can get your jollies all you'd like.  Not that any of you know her or care, but she's in the Coast Guard now, just thought I'd fill you in on why she hasn't been in any pictures lately.

Hmmm, not much new.   I haven't done much with this site lately have I?  I have a plethora of stuff on my computer back at home, since it appears like it will be fully operational soon (meaning, I can plug in my 5 year-old 62GB hard drive I bought in college), I can get some stuff off it and post it for you.  I plan on taking upwards of 400 pictures next weekend as well, so there should be a picture update bigger than the Boulder Kinetics pictures I put up back in April!

Well, as usual - before the weekend I like to remind people to sign the guestbook if they haven't already, also - feel free to join the forums, they suck and are boring right now, so help us get them exciting.  Yup.

Have a great weekend!

January 08, 2004

What's up?   First off - thanks for the calls last night, sorry I didn't answer any of them.   I vowed not to answer even birthday calls during The O.C. as I hadn't watched it in like 2 months, and I haven't yet listened to the voice mails yet.  Here's the breakdown.  Before 6am I got 1 call.  Before 8am I got one call.  Before 9 am I got one call - after this, I didn't get any until the O.C. started (except 2 I missed while getting something to eat)....during the O.C., I got 7 calls.  Thanks, but wow, I was just amazed how close together the calls were, amazing.  Any-who, thanks even though I haven't listened to my messages yet.  Think I'll save that for Saturday.

So it looks like teh Avalanche are playing the Nashville Predators tonight, perhaps I shall watch it, we'll see.  I have a ton of stuff to get done, last night was my first night to just relax and do nothing since I got back from Christmas 2 weeks ago, but I didn't want to work on my birthday, so my room is trashed, my laundry needs done, my hair needs cut, my groceries need to be purchased, etc.  I think that's the agenda this evening, don't you wish you had my life?  It's so exciting sometimes!

I really don't know what's going on this weekend.  I'm guessing I'll go up to Dillon on Friday night after work then stay there until Saturday night or something, but I'm strongly considering riding for 2 days this weekend, so maybe I'll ride up there Saturday morning and stay until Sunday night.  After all, the only important team in the NFL has been defeated now, so no point in watching that now is there?!

Ok - work time, more later....

January 07, 2004

The jinx is over.   Andy and I went to the Avs/Blue Jackets last night and we actually won!  I've seen us defeated at the hands of the Ducks, Red Wings, Stars, and Canucks - and we finally won!  Given that those 4 teams are (or were in the Ducks' case) good, but still - rock on.  Kariya was back.  Sakic played with a broken jaw.  Forseberg is still back, and Aebischer got a shutout.  That was pretty sweet.

Only the bronze prize is left to claim today in the phone call department and the bronze, silver, and gold have been awarded in the email department.  If you have no clue what I'm talking about, well, that's just sad :o)

update: 9:13 - All prizes have been claimed, although the prize is just notoriety, but Nic Riesenberg has just claimed the bronze prize.  Phone Call awards: Crystal gets the gold, Tiffany gets the silver, Nic gets the bronze.   Snail Mail awards go to: Gold to Mom & Dad, Silver to Aly and Zak Fleming, and bronze to Grandma Lentz.   Email awards are as follows:  Gold: Mom & Dad, Silver: Jacob, Bronze: Kristine.

MP3 of the day is, well, a surprise - you won't believe I actually posted this.

Tonight I've decided that I'm going to spoil myself and get a delicious meatball sub from the Streetside Eatery (best restaurant in Denver with the exception of Maggiano's ) I haven't had one of those in so long, that place is so damn good.

Anyways, blah.   Wish Wil$on well in his across-the-country journey, he's currently in Phoenix then driving to El Paso from which he will journey back to Muscatine, Iowa in a Ford Aspire with his parents and all their luggage from a vacation overseas.  24 hours in a car with 3 people (one of which is about 6'2") and luggage for over 3 weeks.  Ouch, but remember - it's Wil$on, NOT abnormal at all for him.  Details fromt his trip may be a new Wil$on story later.

Yesterday was a pretty good day and today's off to a good start.  I've been keeping busy at work, got back into the swing of things in the working-out department by going over lunch and after work last night, cooked some delicious eats last night, got up this morning around 5:30 or so and made MORE delicious eats, went to the gym, and here I am.  I'll be again working out over lunch, then going to the Avalanche/Blue Jackets game tonight.  I just need to start running again after my one month hiatus and we're good to go!  I'm sitting right at 176lbs, want to be aroudn 172 or 170, not sure which yet.  After my last 3 snowboarding excursions, I've realized I'm highly out of shape in the lung department.  I can't even imagine how bad it'd be if I smoked.  I have to stop like 3 times to get down the mountain.  Of course, the runs I do at keystone are longer than most runs at Breck or the Beav.

KBPI this morning had a song called "OOPS! I married my friend!"  It was funny.

I watched American Wedding last night on DVD, pretty good movie, it could have definately used Shannon Elizabeth though.  In the first movie, I thought Stiffler was great but thought Finch was the best character.  In the second one, Stiffler annoyed the hell out of me beacuse the writers over-used him, and Finch was still the funniest in the movie.   This one, Finch finally took the back seat to Stiffler.  If he wasn't in the movie, it wouldn't have been that good.  I thought it was better than the second one, but not as good as the first one.  Immediately following that, I intended on going to bed, but as I turned off the dvd player, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was on, needless to say, I stayed up another 2 hours and watched the rest of that movie again.   I'm so glad I did because I finally figured out something that had been bothering me since I saw Return of the King.  You see, I haven't read the books, so I go just by what happens in the movie.  So in Return of the King when Gandalf and Pippen and friends are talking to Treebeard, and Pippen finds Sauron's eye in the water, I had no clue why it was there.  Then I realized that it must have been from when the walking trees broke the dam and flooded Saruman's tower, and he had the eye in his tower, so it was then in the water.  I was so proud of myself for figuring that out.

Have I mentioned lately that I hate the Broncos?  Just thought I'd throw that in there.  The Packers aren't too far behind right now.  What's with all the fuckers in the NFL that need haircuts?! I mean seriously, Williams, Harris, MacKenzie, etc.  What's with the dreadlock-type long hair?  It looks ridiculous.  Cut it.

I put up new pictures yesterday.  I have a ton more, but decided I'm going to start limiting what I put up.   I feel like I release way too much of myself on this site, time to cut back.   The forums are running horribly as nobody is using them, they may be coming down altogether, I'm setting the date of April 1st, if things aren't picking up and looking good by then, they're gone.   And that ain't no April fool's joke.  Haven't had any guestbook signers as of late, either.   Ah well, as you can tell, I've lost tremendous interest in my own site over the last month or so.  That crash in early December was just way too much work for me and made me realize how much time I waste on this.

Quote of the day is just because I'm randomly in a fantastic mood today, even though it's like 2 degrees outside, or whatever it says above on my little weather thingy is probably more accurate.  Yup.  Have a great Tuesday, usual updates, including MP3, are up today.  Have a great burrito-day-eve, GO AVS!!!

Words can't express how pissed off I am about yesterday.  Other than the obvious, great weekend.   Got a full day at Keystone, got to party with Tim, Russ and friends, the Avs won, the Broncos got annihilated, got my laundry done and room cleaned, and all sorts of stuff.   I don't think I'll be taking off work this week anymore, got a lot to do - but I'd love to go up to Keystone again, Middi is up there, just bad timing for me.  Going to the Avs / Blue Jackets game tomorrow night.  Yup, I'm pretty upset about the Seahawks and don't feel like being in a bad mood all day, so I'm going to stop writing now to keep it out of my mind.  New pix will be up in an hour or so.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2004 is here and it's going well so far.  Got a full day of Keystone riding in, got healthy eating so far, and a great weekend to look forward to. It's supposed to snow 1-3 feet in the mountains this weekend, 1-3 inches in Denver, Tim will be in town, going riding and railing in Keystone again tomorrow, then watching Matt Hasselbeck and Mike Holmgren (seen above) guide the Seahawks to win their first playoff game in 20 years (1984 vs. Raiders) - I was 5 years old when we won a playoff game last, humph.  Back then I wasn't even an Eagles fan yet, let alone a Seahawks fan!   (Note to all - I used to be an Eagles fan until they cut Cunningham, I vowed to never cheer for a team that would cut Cunningham, so I picked up my #2 team as my favorite team - the Seahawks.  I also now detest the Vikings, Ravens, and Cowboys for the same reason - why would you cut Randall Cunningham?!)

So I'm starting to suck at fantasy hockey.  I have Jamie Langenburnner, Alexi Yashin, and Dany Heatley all on the IR - this doesn't give me much space to move around with, and I really can't drop any of them - expecially since Heatley is back skating again.  That car crash just ruined me.

I have a lot of random pictures I need to post, but I still haven't fixed my computer at home. Perhaps I should do that one of these days.  Anyways - have a great weekend, sorry for the lack of updates lately - we haven't had an internet connection at work all week long and I was on a 9 day vacation previous to that.  I promise things will get better in January.   2 weeks until the big ski trip! WOO HOO!!! (By the way, it's looking like 4 kegs and a ton of free food - burgers, brats, breakfast, snacks, salads, lasagna, etc.   look forward to it!)
