HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!! Why am I telling you this 40 days too soon?  Read on...

So I promised you that I'd tell you what I'm giving up for Lent.  Today being Ash Wednesday, and with the extent of my sacrifice, I am forced to tell you now.  I am giving up updating fleetmack.com for Lent.  You heard me right.  Not only will this be incredibly difficult for me to do - it'll sort of force you to give something up as well.  This may kill my hits and unique visitors count, but I don't really give a shit.

I'll still be in the forums and I expect you all to do the same.  00k helped me "fix a glitch" in my system yesterday.  She's good at finding the sources to my problems, so guests will now be counted on the counter-deal at the bottom.  Small change was needed in the phpbb_users table, yup - I had deleted an anonymous user value of -1 that is needed in order to register guests.  Pretty important, huh?  So yup, sign the guestbook during my 40 day hiatus, I'll still delete ads and porn links in the guestbook as that really doesn't count as updating.

Anyways, remember no meat today or any Friday until Easter if you're Catholic.  I upheld it by eliminating the bacon from my delicious egg sandwich this morning.  Not too tricky.  And I suppose I'll have to have a veggie burrito on this lovely Ash Burrito Day.  Some ideas for you to eat during Lent on Fridays:

Salmon - put some seasoning on it and either broil it, grill it, or George Foreman it
Egg Sandwich - Toast, Eggs, Cheese
Tuna Helper - always delicious
Cheese Pizza
Shirmp - my favorite food
Veggie Lasagna
Veggie Burrito from Chipotle

See, it ain't that hard - it can still be delicious!!  Speaking of delicious, wow, Cookies seasoning on Chicken is my new favorite thing on Earth.  I tenderized my chicken last night before George Foreman-ing it by hitting it with my meat tenderizer (basically a big ass hammer).  This chicken looked like a frisbee when I was done with it.  Man, it was the 2nd best tasting frisbee I've ever eaten. (Not counting those aerobe frisbees, of course)

Let me go ahead and get some things out of the way right quick since I won't be updating for 40 days:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY OOSTERHUIS!!!  (March 03)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALYSON FLEMING!!!     (March 04)  (Wow, Aly - is that the only pic I have of you on here?! Your wedding picture? I'm slacking!!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN HORNICK!!!          (March 06)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT MUHLBAUER!!!    (March 31)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN HEUTON                 (April 7 would have been #26)

HAPPY NATIONAL EAZY-E DAY!!!                  (March 26th, 9th anniversary of his death)
HAPPY KURT COBAIN DAY!!!                          (April 4 - 10th anniversary of his death)

and lastly - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ANYONE WHOSE BIRTHDAY I FORGOT!!!

What will I be doing for the next month?  Well, I'll be fixing my computer as I finally bought a new motherboard for it.  So yeah, I will get that fixed and be able to get tons of things I've written off my old hard drive, so look for updates galore when I get back :)  I will be in San Diego from March 19-24th for work and to see Funks and Katie ONic, Lloyd, and Matt are coming out here for a few days in late March/early April.  I'll be snowboarding most every weekend, hoping to master 180s as I come off a rail. And lastly, by the time we speak next, I'll have maxed out my Roth IRA for Tax Year 2003 at $3000 for the year.

I could still use a few more bucks for the Matthew Binns Guesbook fund (see above the "what I am listening to..." section above), so if you're interested, any help is appreciated.

A few reminders:  Boulder Kinetics is May 1 (WOW!! I'm the third listing for a "boulder kinetics" google search!) I believe Renze, Bucktros, and Dykstra will be coming here.  Rumor has it that Aja will be making a valiant return to Denver for that weekend as well, rock on!!   Slipknot tickets are sure to be sold out by now, but if you want to go - well, you're shit outta luck unless you got tickets already.

New Wil$on picture is up.  I wish I had one of him with his old pet chicken, that'd be so festive for Easter.   Yup, Wil$on had a pet chicken named "Pecker".  I swear.  New MP3 will be up shortly - one of my top 10 favorite songs ever.  I will have a pic of the day up tomorrow, as I am waiting for its arrival - normally I'd say this is a bad thing as I promised not to update - but it is realted to the topic of Lent.... hehehehe

Have a great Easter and I'll see you in a month-ish!!!

February 24, 2004

I'm sick, almost didn't come in to work today but I realized something I was told a few years ago.  You CAN work when you have a sore throat and a headache.  You can NOT work when you are hungover.  I shall save my sick time for when I cannot function, becuase today while I feel miserable, I can function.

I don't really feel like updating today as I don't feel very well so I'm just going to get to work.  New picture of the day is up, but that's about it.  Adios.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUERGENS!!!!

Well, had a great weekend - but the upsetting news I received this weekend overshadows everything I have to say today as sometimes reality is more important, much more important.

Matthew Binns (aka cHu and AssJack from the forums) took his own life last week and is no longer with us.  Shonda has posted about this in the forums and I don't know much detail about it other than it happened last Sunday and we just received word on Saturday.   Matthew was born and raised in New Mexico and was living in Denver for the past several years.  I never got to meet him personally, but I can tell you that the guy would go out of his way to make people happy.  Matthew was scheduled to go on the ski trip to Breckenridge with us last month, but due to a last-minute trip to England he arranged with his sister, he was unable to attend.  Even while he didn't go, I offered to give him his money back and he refused and said he wanted us to enjoy ourselves so to keep it.  Because he knew of my love for hockey, Matthew sent me an official 2003 NHL season hockey puck as a gift once.  I don't know many people who would do something like that for a complete stranger.

If you knew Matthew at all, or even posted or messaged him back and forth a few times, it'd be mighty nice of you to place a few kind words in his obituary guestbook provided by the Denver Post. http://www.legacy.com/denver/Guestbook.asp?Page=Guestbook&PersonID=1948613    This feature is available for one month for free, but fleetmack.com is taking up a collection to sponsor this guestbook so his family can have a permanent online reminder of his presence.  Since Matthew worked in I.T., I think it'd be kind of cool for his family to have something like that online.  If you're interested in contributing to the Matthew Binns Denver Post Website fund, please shoot me an email - bryan@fleetmack.com.   We only need to raise a simple $69 for the guestbook, and everything after that I will donate to the Animal Humane Association of NM in his name.

Anyways, I am going to get an address for anyone who would like to send a card to his family, but I don't have that as of this second.  As should be implied, please pray for all of Matthew's friends and family through this horrible time.  God bless you, Matthew.

I want to use this horrible situation as an opportunity.  Although I personally know about 25% of the people who read this site, I would like to invite any one of you who has a problem or anything you need to talk about to come to me.  I'm not an expert on giving advice or helping people by any means, but I am sincere as can be when I say I'd be glad to give up my time to make someone happy or to at least try and help you.   Please don't ever let anything come to this, when you think you've hit bottom - just realize things can only go up from that point.  Again - feel free to talk to me about anything if you ever need it. Take care.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY BRENT!!!

http://www.iowastatedaily.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2004/02/18/4032ed1293738 - I wasn't aware that Wil$on was going to want that posted, but since he's given the go-ahead - check that out.  This is majorly fucked up.  "joke"?!?!?!    Yeah, hopefully he can laugh about his joke in jail.

So it's Friday.  I'm in kind of a shitty mood today, can't figure out why.  Probably a lack of sleep.  Today was my 4th day in a row at waking up early, cooking some eggs, and lifting/running before work.  Today I went 3 miles with 4 quarter-mile sprints.  Giddy up.  I was over at Riki's down by Parker/Centennial until 9 or so last night then had to drive home in snowy and icy weather at about 20mph.   Got home around 10:30 then watched Letterman for the first time in about 3 years.   I missed my imaginary girlfriend of 4 years (Tara Dakides) on there a week or so ago - did anyone catch that?  Apparently they built a huge snowboard ramp outside and Tara missed a jump and crashed hard.  Yeah, like I said, that was 2 weeks ago - but the fact that I watched Letterman reminded me that I never discussed Tara's fall on here - so yup, there's a pic of her and Dave for ya.

So, today is the last Friday until mid-April to eat meat for us Catholics, huh?  Everyone decide what they're giving up for Lent yet?  Well, last year it was Chips & Salsa and wearing my contacts for me - quite strange.  I'm yet again going innovative with my Lenten promise this year - you will be shocked and upset when you hear what I'm giving up.  Certainly, but we'll save that for Wednesday.....

Check this ski report email out I got this morning:
Beaver Creek (www.beavercreek.com)
Temp. at 5am MST: 14F/-10C
Surface Conditions: Powder
Snowfall in last 24 hours: 11in.

Guess where Bryan's going this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 11" last night?!?!  My snowboard is presently in the parking lot sitting atop Laetitia in case I decide to leave straight from work.  Hopefully I'll get this picture from Kelly this weekend of me doing a sweet ass jump - if it turned out well, it'll be the new picture for the fleetmack homepage.  Hopefully it's as cool as the jump pic I took of Tyler, but mine is on a steeper jump.  Maybe I'll try to get a pic of me riding on a rail or something this weekend, that'd be pretty sweet too.  Hopefully it'll turn out EXACTLY LIKE THIS!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!

I just realized I don't think I've EVER posted this MP3 of the Day that I'm posting today - fantastic song.  It is probably classified as hard rock I guess, but not really.   I think everyone could enjoy it.  But then again, I'm so used to listening to insanely heavy shit like Chimaira, Rammstein, Sepultura, Soulfly, etc. that sometimes even Slipknot and Deftones seem a little mellow to me.  hmmmm.  I recommend you at least try today's MP3 though, great song.

Anywho, I'm off for the weekend, have a delicious weekend.  Be safe, have fun, enjoy life, and do something outside, becuase life's too short to stay inside and watch TV all the time. Adios todos.  Oh yeah - new pic today.

February 19, 2004

Wow, this is quite a streak I've got going of getting to the gym before work!  I forgot how much energy that gives me, hopefully I can keep it up until I go to San Diego - gotta get in good beach shape :)

Man the Avs suck now.  Vancouver shut us out.  The Oilers did everything they could to shut us out last night, but Clark (who?!) scored with 30 seconds left in the game to save us from a huge embarassment.  Oh wait, it was still incredibly embarassing.  Hopefully we get this little quirk sorted out by the time the playoffs come around.  Normally I'd say "Hey, Blake and Forsberg didn't play." But that's really no excuse when you have Kariya, Hejduk, Sakic, Tanguay, Selanne, etc. on the same team!

I have advice for anyone who wastes too much money at the bar.  Buy a big-screen TV.  Done.  Durning the NFL season, instead of sitting at the bar, drinking 10 beers, a few shots, and running up a $60 tab every Sunday - I sat at home, had a few beers, cooked my own food, did laundry, and watched the games on a bigger tv, and on a couch!  During hockey season, same thing.  Except hockey is AT LEAST every 3 nights, sometimes every other night.  I no longer waste all my cash at the bar and I'm more productive around the house.  This TV has pretty much paid for itself already and I haven't even paid for it yet!  Got $900 to go.  But yeah, I'm so proud.  Instead of having to rush home, change clothes, go to the bar, waste money......last night, instead = go to gym, get home, cook, do laundry, watch the game, clean my room, watch the O.C. at the same time, drink 2 beers because they are delicious (extra delicious last night for some reason). Man, I'm telling you - a big screen TV is worth every cent.

So let's see what Denver can do for us today.  74 degrees yesterday, and currently, our Winter Storm Watch is stating 4 to 8 inches by tomorrow morning.   Humph.

I don't know what I'm doing this weekend yet, but I ensure you at some point it shall involve sliding down a mountain in Colorado at 40+ mph on a 159cm red snowboard. That I can guaran-damn-tee you.

I have a lot to say but don't feel like typing anymore.  See ya tomorrow, enjoy a new MP3 and some other stuff.  Adios todos.

February 18, 2004

3:41 p.m.Update: This is quite odd, and I really felt like I had to type this here as I've never experienced this before.  It has cooled down a bit, we're only at 69 degrees right now (as opposed to the high of 74 earlier today).  Have you ever been in 69 degree weather AND been in a Winter Storm Watch at the same time?!  Well, that's what things are like this minute in Golden, Colorado.   Only in Colorado, my friends, only in Colorado.

Much, much Earlier than 3:41 p.m. Update: Wow, I thought yesterday was nice at 64 degrees?  WillieB on KBPI this morning said "Highs today around 107, so you don't need a coat."  That cracked me up, so I checked the forecast - yup, mid-February, we're at 70 degrees today.   I remember living in Iowa when we'd get those random days of 50 degrees and everyone would be shocked and talk about it for a year, "Remember when it got 50 in February?!"  Ok, nobody really did that, point being - I've been here about 3 years and I still am not used to the fact that I can EXPECT it to get this warm some days in the winter!  Only drawback is the fast-changing weather.  Por ejemplo, tomorrow we're forecasted to get 4 inches of snow.  Delicious, delicious snow for me to snowboard on this weekend.  Got about 2 more years of it in me, did I type that out loud?

I watched Family Guy DVD's last night from the minute I got home until the second I went to bed, wow what a way to spend a night when you're exhausted!  I'm pretty tired today yet though, didn't get to bed at too decent of a time and got up around 5 this morning to do some cookin', runnin', and liftin'.  Yup, sure did.   Delicious egg sandwich, mmmmmm!!!!!  I crave another, but shall settle for a burrito the size of my forearm around nooner.

This is a few days overdue - but to everyone I've talked to in the past week...Thanks!  I can't sum it up better than that.

I should do a quiz today but I can't think of a question, so instead I'll just post a Wil$on picture (Don't worry Wil$on, it ain't one you sent yesterday!).   Hey Wil$on - would you consider writing your entire weekend as a story?  It was a very f&*ked up weekend and I just think that the DPS ad along with one of the pictures you sent me would summarize it quite well as visual aids - let me know what you think.  Wow, a first-hand Wil$on story - what an idea!

MP3 shall stay the same today, although I may post a second one as well.  I have 2 I REALLY want to post today, but just am way too lazy, way too lazy.  I've been listening to Sheryl Crow and Radiohead for the past day and a half, kinda weird combination, huh?  Ah well, back to work.  Have a great burrito day, and if you have to wear a coat today, track through snow to get someplace, or scrape your windshield - I am very sympathetic, but am laughing at you right now out of rudeness, becuase hey, I can be rude sometimes too.  Riiiiiiiiiight.

February 17, 2004

64 degrees and all is well in Golden - and yes, I'm bragging.  How's the weather wherever you may be?  Would someone please explain to me why I am having such a good day today?  Seriously, against all odds, I'm in a great mood today, strange huh?

Yet another 4-day week, these are just one after another lately.  I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I actually have a full week, that'll be weird, but I've got a whole month of them coming up, yup, sure do.  I chilled out with my parents all weekend back in C-town, that'll be my last flight until I go to San Diego next month for business & pleasure.  I'm really looking forward to the warm weather, this shit is getting kinda old - I mean, seriously, only 64 degrees in mid-February?.  It's been a month since I've gone riding, so it's time to hit up Vail or Beaver Creek this weekend, not sure which yet, but I really need to get up there.  I'll probably go on just Saturday for the day because I want to go out on Saturday night.  Josh, Bob and I hit up Woody's last night and watched the Av's lose, man they played like shit.

Oh! I thought of something somewhat interesting to say!  I spoke briefly last week about a magazine that was interviewing me, had no clue it was Wired magazine, that magazine has circulation of near 500,000 - so that's pretty cool.  I spoke with them for about 20 minutes last night on the phone, so yup, there'll be an article about email hoaxes with a bunch of stuff about me coming out in the near future probably, let me tell you how little I care about this.  Very little.

Losing ambition for fleetmack.com again, this comes and goes in spurts, so just be patient and I'm sure I'll make it improve sometime soon.  New stuff is around, look for it on your own.  MP3 of the day is new and is up for a very good reason today, because attitude is everything.

February 13, 2004

Friday the 13th and I'm hopping on a plane.  Is that risky?  Got to bed halfway early last night but woke up pretty early again today, hopefully this won't last too long!

I really don't feel like typing anything today, not at all.  Some new stuff is around though, about 100 new pix are up this week, and new random thoughts were posted this week, along with a new Wil$on pic, so enjoy that stuff.  Have a great 3-day weekend! :)

February 12, 2004

Hi, yup - early update, huh?  I didn't get much sleep last night so I just came into work around 6:30 or so today.  Anywho, what's new with you?  I'm going glasses-style again today, I think something is very wrong with my eyes these days.   Something is wrong with my back too, it hurts very badly and I didn't even do anything to it!  That just started mid-day yesterday.  Guess I should resort to the hot tub tonight, huh?

Well, the snow stopped.  Didn't get much in Westminster, but there's a good 8 inches or so here in Golden.  I'm not very interesting today, sorry.   By the way, I've been re-addicted to Alice in Chains.  Funny how my music goes in cycles.  And since I haven't mentioned it in the news, tickets for the Slipknot/Chimaira concert went on sale yesterday - just $25 at the Fillmore, so that's my recommendation to you - buy one!

Ok, back to work.  Have a good one.

February 11, 2004

I am crying right now, close to tears.  If you think the hamster-Quizno's commercial is as funny as I do, you have got to check the link out to the video of their original song.  I'm not going to link it here - it' sin the forums, this should encourage you to use them.  I will go out on a limb and say this is funnier than SuperGreg and Chonky combined.  I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time.

Snow.  Snow.  Snow.  It's been just absolutely dumping on us all day.  It wasn't snowing when I got to work this morning, but for my best estimate I'd say we've gotten 6" in the past 3 or 4 hours and it shows no signs of stopping.  Hopefully I can get the day off work tomorrow for a snow day, that'd rule :)  But yeah, I'm starting to feel like you Iowa people now who have been getting dumped on for about a month straight now.  Man I wish I was snowboarding today!   I need to get in a good powder day one of these times.

Ahhh shit, I just remembered I promised to post Random Thoughts Pt. IV - it can be found on the My Mind page if you're so inclined to read about how my brain works and what stupid shit I can come up with.  Keep in mind I do not write these to be funny so don't bitch at me if it isn't, it's just supposed to be true!

I don't feel like typing.  I want to go make a snow angel or something.  Instead I guess I'll sit at my desk and work.  Ok, maybe not becuase we just got an email saying we can leave whenever we think it's a reasonable time since the weather is so shitty. Adios todos.

February 10, 2004

Lunch hour on a Tuesday and here I sit, sorry for the overdue-ness of my update, I'll make it a good one today for you, got 10 minutes left on lunch break.  I spent about an hour last night preparing pictures and just wasted 20 minutes of my lunch break finishing that for you.  99 pictures from the weekend are up.  I also cleaned up the pictures page drop-down box and cleaned up the newpix page.  Everything on the newpix page is from February 02, 2004 or later, everything else (including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Ski Trip, etc.) are now on the drop-down box on the main pix page.

Anyways, had a kickass time in Minneapolis.  Great time, as always, that city rules, although INSANELY cold.  It snowed the whole time we were there.   The All Star events were sweet.  Mule got us a suite with free ribs and wings and other food, not to mention free bottled beer!  Since MPLS is cold, they had all these ice sculptures of NHL stuff across the street.  So yeah - we did a ton of stuff this weekend.  Bar time, bowling time, cards until the wee hours of the morning, sleep during the day, NHL events, poker, shots, etc.  For about 1/2 hour after the Young Stars game and Skills competition on Saturday night, we were out of control.   Those pix rule, I hope you enjoys.

New Wil$on picture is on the Wil$on page.

I will put up Random Thoughts Pt. V tomorrow, it is complete.

Oh - I figured something out about Bulger.  He sucks.  It was funny, Mule and I turn on the Pro Bowl late in the game and I see Bulger, I say "He fucking sucks.  He threw more INT's than TD's this year."  Then the stat comes up that he had 4TD's in the game so far.  Immediatley after we start watching it, 2 of his first 4 plays are a fumble and INT.  I just jinx the hell out of him, so I've decided to start watching all the Rams games so that shithead will get benched.

Wow, just 3 days until I go back to the airport and fly out yet again!   I'm slowly becoming one of DIA's most regular customers.  Going to San Diego in just over a month for 6 days as well, so that'll be sweet.  Yup - ok, back to work now.  New pic of the day and MP3 are up as well.  Enjoy and I'll holler atcha tomorrow!

February 06, 2004

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW KIMMY D!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNDAY BECKY!!!!!!!!!!

First off I'd like to ask for your prayers for the Grandmother of a good friend of mine who passed away the other day.  Thanks.

So the Red Wings won, and I won't say the refs completely would have lost the game because who knows what would have happened.   All I can say is that if they would have called the penalty when Sakic was taken down, then Konowalchuck wouldn't have gotten his penalty in the first place.  And if we weren't 4 on 3 in OT, Foote wouldn't have risked his penalty to practically break Yzerman's nose (hehehe, that was way cool though, Foote) with his stick to make it 5 on 3 in OT.  Basically, that call would have given us a power play and eliminated Red Wings power play.  So that would have increased our chance of victory and decreased theirs.  But, it didn't happen and we deal with the fact that we're still in first place, have a 1 point advantage over the Wings and Canucks with 2 games in hand (for you hockey novices, that means we have the possibility of having a 5 point lead once we've played the same number of games - boom!)  So we'll just save the trash talking from the Red Wing fans until we whip your asses at Joe Louis Arena next Saturday.

So let's talk about Joelle for a quick minute.  I'm sure you all know by now that I dated a girl who I stopped seeing because she was on meth.  Nobody's ever questioned the fact wether this is true or not, and with her birthday coming up in a few short days - I'd like to give Joelle this birthday present.  Happy Birthday a few days early, Joelle!  Anyways, there's your proof!  It's actually pretty sad and I feel bad for her, well, not really feel bad for her as it was her choice to completely waste and fuck up her life, but I feel bad for the opportunities she missed out on in life.  That girl was so smart and creative, she had to go ruin her life.  What a stupid bitch.  You'd think she'd grown up by now.

So at 7:50 tonight, I'm off to Minneapolis for the NHL All Star Game!! This is going to be sweet.  This is easily the most spontaneous thing I've done since I decided to go to Shaun's Luau in KC 2 summer's ago the day before he was throwing it.   This is sure to be a blast.

New picture of the day is up, MP3 will stay as Martin Sexton, and yup - I have Random Thoughts Pt. IV basically done, but I'd like to add 1 or 2 more thoughts to it, so I think I'll wait until next week to post it.   Also - I'm working on Stories Pt. V so if you have a story that you were part of that you think is extremely funny or abnormal from back in the day (meaning, it could have happend last week for all I care) send me a reminder....my  memory ain't so good from the college years!  Have a fantabulous Wednesday and I'll rap at ya Monday. Adios!

February 05, 2004

Red Wings / Avalanche.  Tonight.   6:00p.m. MST.  Place: Pepsi Center, downtown Denver.  Channel:  ESPN (yes, nationally televised).  If you're NOT a hockey fan and have any interest in becoming one - this is the game to watch.  This is the most heated rivalry in all of sports.  If you want to watch a fantastic, heated, fight of a game - tonight, 6:00p.m. (MST) - ESPN - be there.   I went to the game last year with Chris and wow, amazing.  Amazing.

Boom!! And just like that, we're off to Minneapolis for the weekend for the NHL All-Star game weekened festivities.  Major props to Matt (as seen here with Yort and Myself) for hooking up some phat tickets in the company suite.  Giddy up!!  So for the first time since this past July's Sausagefest I, I will make my valiant return to Minneapolis, Minnesota with Avs jersey in hand and on back.

WOOO HOOOO!!

Ok, I'm pretty excited about this, so I really don't know what else to post, guess I'll have to do some form of hockey picture for pic of the day.   Oh man, can't type, must work or I'll be too excited. Have a good day!

Oh - check this out, Iowa State people should appreciate it.  Kris, why didn't you tell me that Mark (hehe, it's fun to call him that) is now working with Julius Michalik?! Harlan?! Come on, sheer blasphemy.  As if I didn't hate Harlan enough from high school, their damn QB that we played against senior year now plays for one of my most hated NFL teams - the Dallas Suckboys.  Damn I hate that city - why Julius?  Why?!

February 04, 2004

Did anyone buy the new Kenny Chesney CD yesterday?  If so - let me konw how it is.  Don't send me the MP3's as I intend on buying it, Kenny deserves the money, but I'd like an honest review of the CD.

The fantasy hockey team ripped it apart last night.  Sakic - 2 power-play assists.  Konowalchuck - power play goal/game winning goal.  Dany Heatley - first goal of the year.  The list goes on and on....I'm comin' back....

So they were saying "biggest storm of the year" on the news last night.  Then why the hell did we only get about an inch of snow?  Disappointing for the weekend snowboarder named Bryan Mack.  By the way, I'll likely be in the mountains all weekend.  Probably heading up Friday after work and staying until Sunday afternoon.   Guess I should probably call Kelly to make sure she'll be around so I have a place to stay, huh?  This article is long, but has a fantastic ending.

Fuck I'm boring lately, sorry.   There's a new picture of the day, Wil$on picture, and MP3 of the day that everyone should like. Find it yourself, I'm lazy today even though I was asleep by 9 last night.

Best guestbook signing ever took place last night. Thanks Jennifer :)

February 03, 2004

So there I was last night flipping through the channels while eating dinner, and low and behold, just as predicted yesterday, Groundhog Day was on Showtime.  Amazing.  I'm like MackStradamous.   Anything else you want me to predict?

Seriously, this spam problem is ridiculous as of late...not even to hotmail anymore!  My work email account is getting upwards of like 100/day just to "lengthen your love tool by at least 3 inches" or "enh@nce the length of your m@nh00d"  or "en1@rgE your peni$ $ize" What is this?  Are they trying to talk like a h4xor or just taking sheer advice from my spam rant I wrote a few 6 months ago?!  Do you think it's cool to use a dollar sign in the word "peni$" just because I do when I type "Wil$on"?  Wow, we can now credit Wil$on for the barrage of $pam we're getting.  Ok, I'll stop now, this paragraph is getting highly annoying to read.

I watched my Family Guy DVD's last night while doing laundry and cooking.  My cooking skills are getting awesome as of late, I made beef fajitas last night - quite different for me.  At least I stopped taking pictures of myself cooking and eating food like I used to put on here last year.  I was really stretching for material back in those days!

Alternate quote of the day, and I've had it before so your quiz of the day will be to tell me what movie this is from - paraphrased to avoid google searches.:
"Have I ever told you my theory on hieroglyphics?  I believe it's an ancient comic strip written by a man named 'Sphinxxy' "  Email me the movie it's from...

New picture of the day is up.  Have a good one.

Happy Groundhog Day! I bet you can find the Bill Murray movie on tv tonight if you really wanted to, I don't.

really could care less about Janet's tits, but that picture is cool with the exception of the Todd-Pietig-look-alike guy from N-Synch.  Anyways - yup.

Had an absolutely fantabulous weekend.   Seriously, best weekend I've had in a long long time, pretty happy about that! No details for you - but here's a few pictures for you.

I'm hungry.  Iowa State beat Kansas.   The Avalanche tied once and lost in O.T. once, but guess what - still in first, but the Canucks are creepin'.  The Tigers will be good next year (baseball) since they got Pudge now.  The emails from this current virus need to stop.  The Patriots won last night and the Panthers have nobody to blame but themselves.  The commercials were horrible yesterday.  Blah blah blah.  I didn't have breakfast this morning so am very very hungry.  Can you tell I don't feel like typing right now?  I'll put up a picture of the day and MP3 of the day for you, other than that - have a great week!!
