April 30, 2004

Today would be the 6th anniversary from that absolutely horrendous day in 1998 that I classify as the worst day of my life. We still miss you.

I'm honestly just shaking and I think my heart is going to explode from the anticipation and excitement of the activities that lie ahead of me the next few days.   Seriously, I wouldn't be shocked in the least if my heart just exploded becuase I'm so anxious for the next week.  I'm scared shitless about the upcoming Avs games, we just can't lose, we can't finish this season and go into a lockout without taking the Stanley Cup.  The Slipknot concert is Tuesday, holy shit, I absolutely cannot wait for it.  Whoever arranged for Chimaira and Slipknot to perform a concert together is my hero.  Sitting here listening to SciSSorS at the 7 minute point, holy shit, I only wish they'd perform this song live.  Man Corey can just wail and put so much emotion into these songs, rock on.  I'm shaking right now, I can't fricking wait to see the masked 9 on stage just demolishing the Fillmore.  If you had the opportunity to see this show and passed it up for any reason, wether that reason being you don't like their music or you had nobody to go with, I pity you - strongly pity you for missing some of the best live entertainment in the history of music.   Aja is back in town and Renze's coming to town for Kinetics - the third annual.   So I'll be at the beach all day Saturday.  I'm heading up to the mountains Saturday night for Chris' bachelor party -- holy shit -- this next 7 day streak, providing the Avs continue to win, could be the best 7 day streak in the history of Earth.   WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to officially endorse and link to Naked Food-Juice from now on.   This stuff is a Godsend.  It's quite expensive, but this has got to be the most healthy and delicious drink on the market.  It's absolutely perfect for post-morning-workout if you haven't had breakfast.  Hell, it's all around perfect post-workout food-drink for any time or a perfect breakfast even if you don't work out in the morning!  Just watch what you eat with it because it has a ton of calories.   What flavor do I recommend - Protein Zone, all the way.  Each bottle of this sutff (16oz) contains the following: 2 oranges, 1 banana, 1 apple or pear, 1/2 pineapple, and a hint of coconut....not to mention the protein.  One 16oz drink has a whopping 34 grams of protein, 54 grams of carbs to keep you up and running, and only 7 grams of fat -- all packed into 420 calories.   What an absolutely perfect breakfast.  I have no clue what they cost, they were giving away free ones after the Cherry Creek Sneak and I took like 8 of them, but I thin they're about $3/ea.  Hopefully they'll have free ones at the Bolder Boulder so I can get about 20 more free ones.  Anyways - buy this stuff!  Hell, only drinking 1/2 of one a day is still wonderful!  You get all your fruit servings, all your vitamin C, and a ton of energy to go with it.  Can you tell I'm impressed with this drink?  Yeah, thought so.

Go here to check out Slipknot's new video, Duality. Have a great weekend.

April 29, 2004

Talk about nerve racking.  David Aebischer is on fire, he basically shut the Sharks out in game 3 (the Sharks' only goal was one that they hit off Abby's back) and he shut the Sharks out last night.  Time to get the offense fired up, if we can take game 5, this is a brand spanking new series -- we have hope yet, we really do.   The Habs came back from a 3-1 defecit in round one, why can't we do it now?   It's looking bad, but we have a chance.  Check out that sweet picture of Evgeni last night.  I just don't understand why some people don't like hockey.   The athletes are in better shape than any sport, there's so much action and it's a very physical game, and just look at that acrobatic move in the above picture -- too bad Sakic hit that puck and it's going right past him for a GWG - giddy up.

From 80 degrees back to snow in just one day.  Gotta love Colorado.   Hopefully it gets nicer for Kinetics.  Judging that yesterday it was in the 80's, I see no reason why we shouldn't expect it to be either in the 100s or 20s on Saturday, one of the two.

Every once in awhile I come across a song that is so out of the ordinary for me to like, but I just fall in love with it from the first listen.  The kind of song everyone can enjoy, wether you like rap, metal, rock, country, classical - it doesn't matter....today's MP3 is a wonderfully addictive song that I'll recommend and and go ahead and name as my "Favorite new-to-me Song of 2004".   PLEASE download and listen to it....you owe it to yourself.

Hits and random strangers' emails are way up as of late, I must have gotten linked somewhere insanely popular again.  Maybe I'll put some new stuff on the feedback page, haven't done that in awhile.

I have a ton of stuff to say, but I think I'm going to incorporate it all into a new rant, haven't written one of those in awhile and something's been irking me lately...

April 28, 2004

There's a Seinfeld episode where Jerry and Kramer switch apartments because of this big red neon chicken light across the street.  In the episode, Kramer turns into Jerry and vice versa.  At one point, Jerry (acting like Kramer) runs into Kramer's (Jerry's) apartment and says "I'm going on NO sleep - NO sleep!"    Well, I got sleep, but that's how I feel today, exhausted - yet COMPLETELY wired for some reason, like I pulled a Joelle and smoked a foil or 3 of meth this morning.

Tonight is the Avs game so I'm going to Old C's to try to win that damn mirror I want so badly.  Aja arrives tomorrow, Kinetics is Saturday, and Chris' bachelor party is Saturday night.  Do you have any idea how I can't wait for Sunday night so I can get some sleep?!  Wow, I'm tired.  At least I get a burrito today!

I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have the Kill Bill soundtrack - thanks Sarah!  This part (song) rules, it's the part where O-Ren Ishii and her gang are walking into the nightclub, man that's a cool scene.  And in that link, my imaginary girlfriend #5 candidate, Chiaki Kuriyama, makes an appearance.  And by the way, imaginary girlfriends #1-4 are Laetitia Casta, Brooke Burke, Tara Dakides, and that girl Jennifer from the ISU library I was obsessed with junior year of college that I was too scared to ask out.  Man I'm dumb.  This paragraph has discussed WAY too many topics....

Going for a new record here, I haven't checked my voice mail since Sunday now and have had my phone turned on for about a total of 3 hours since Sunday afternoon.  Giddy up.  The Vegas fund has started - I have 3 auctions up right now, they are all for something I'm sure none of you would buy.  Hey Alicia - remember these shoes I'm selling and how I got them?  hehehehe, that was pretty cool.   If anyone wants a motherboard or a hard drive, you can buy that too, I lost the link to my hard drive auction and am too lazy to go find it.  Yup.

New pic of the day is up, as is a new MP3.....come to think of it, no they aren't, I don't feel like putting forth the effort to do that right now.  Have a great burrito day.

GO AVS!! PLEASE DON'T LET TONIGHT BE YOUR LAST GAME FOR THE NEXT 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!

April 27, 2004

If that comic strip doesn't crack you up, there's something wrong with you.   Oh wait, I'm a nerd -- still, it's pretty funny, eh?

Let's not talk about hockey since there's nothing good to talk about, ok?  Let's just focus on the fact that the Slipknot/Chimaira concert is a mere 7 days away.  WOO HOO!

Time to sell away pretty much all my junk on ebay.  Did I tell you I'm going to sell all my junk, and the money I make from it is getting put on a roulette spin in Vegas in a couple weeks?  Yup, I'm copying that one dude who put his entire life savings, house, and everything on one roulette spin.

I really don't have much to say today, sorry.....

I'm not going to tell you who this is from, but read part of an email I got over the weekend, good stuff:
Nothing, absolutely nothing worse than a cold shower. I began limiting them to every other day.... then resorted to heating up water with the crock pot for my sponge bath.... and only washed my hair in cold water. Sometimes I would take showers at friends places, or find a random sink to wash the hair in. Anyway, just got it turned back on. I dont think Ill ever be able to get out of my nice new warm shower. Our bill from November to April 1st, somehow came to be $635.79. Of course we didnt pay it during the winter, because we dont have to since its illegal for them to shut us off.

Gee, who could have sent me that email?  (EXTREME sarcasm)

April 26, 2004

8 days until Slipknot and Chimaira completely destroy the Fillmore.........and if you're lucky enough, you can go to the Val-Air Ballroom in Des Moines tomorrow night and watch them....

Add an Avalanche victory to the weekend and it would have been pretty close to perfect, but it didn't happen.  Tonight hopefully we can pull it off....hopefully, or we're in severe trouble.

I ran Cherry Creek yesterday about 2 minutes slower than I would have liked to (I think, times haven't been released yet).  I'm guessing my time is going to be around 42 minutes.  Let me first explain the circumstances, I was on about 3 hours sleep.   It was misting.  It was probably only 35 degrees outside.  I had a TON of energy left at the end of the race (meaning I didn't run as hard as I could....I am VERY bad at pacing myself), I had to watch and there were no timers.  Excuses?  No, I'm not making excuses - my point is that all things considered, I'm not upset finishing 5 miles in 42 minutes knowing that I am in shape enough to run faster and had excess energy left.  Now we'll just focus on finishing the Bolder Boulder (10K....6.2 miles) in under 47 minutes, if that doesn't happen - even with all these circumstances, I'll be very upset with myself.  And on a final note about this, if my estimate is correct, I still sliced about 6 minutes off last year's time, so it's still an improvement.  But I need to be down to 7:30 miles instead of 8:20 or whatever that equates to.

Yesterday I played on my computer a lot, got some laundry done, took a few naps, finished a book I've been reading for a month or so, got some writing done, and that's about it.  It was a lazy day.  I actually answered my phone for a  phone call at 3:33a.m. this morning, what the hell?!  I think I was delirious or something...possibly talking in my sleep....who knows, don't remember the conversation at all other than it involved Lynzy being lost by Ft. Collins or something?  I was confused. Still am.

I'm boring today, I'll give you a new Mp3 and some other things a little later, but for now, I've gotta get to work.

April 23, 2004

This guy is what sports is about, God bless him.  In a world filled with absolute dipshits like Eli Manning and Maurice Clarett and Clinton Portis, this man shows you how to not be greedy and be a man instead of a whining little pussy.

That picture pretty much sums up the game.  We were devoured by the Sharks last night.  They played fantastic, we played like shit, and the result was a 5-2 demolishion in the Shark Tank.  That was horrific, hopefully that trend doesn't continue, I don't think it will, we're just too good for the season to end in the Semifinals.

This weekend should be a beast.  I'm passing on my free Rockies ticket tomorrow so I can watch the Avs put forth a (hopefully) better effort than was put up last evening. It snowed last night and is still snowing right now, so I'd love to ride the board - but that ain't going to happen.  We're in a winter storm warning until midnight, saying up to 10" of snow - let's hope for as much snow as possible, I need it to last 2 weeks so I can ride my board in 2 weeks, my calender is full until then.

I have a new friend! Anne is my friend!

Aja is officially 100% coming next weekend.  Next Saturday (8 days from now) is certain to be one of the funnest days in the history of Earth.  Boulder Kinetics during the day, and Chris' bachelor party at night.  Wow.

Have I mentioned that I like the Seattle Seahawks lately?  Just thought I'd throw that in there because the draft is this weekend, hopefully we'll get ourselves a couple of linebackers and a new defensive tackle, that'd rule.

Anywho, a new Wil$on picture is on his page today, it's a good one - with a hot chick, woo hoo! Way to go, Wil$on!  New pic of the day, that's about it.  I'm pretty busy so nothing else new today, sign my guestbook if you'd like, otherwise don't, I really am not concerned with what you do.   Have a good weekend!

April 22, 2004

Here's the deal, I'm 100% back in "don't-answer-don't-check-my-voice-mail-and-most-definatley-don't-call-people" mode again.  I got my phone bill the other day, fucking ridiculous.  $94.   I have to pay $94 for something I hate, bullshit.  My phone will now be shut off from 7am until 9pm every day, unless I forget to turn it back on.  If you call when I'm asleep (usually by 10pm-ish), I won't hear it - I can sleep through an airplane crashing into my living room.  I'm also not answering external calls at work anymore, I have too much shit to do here these days.  Email, as always, is by far the best means of communication for me.  I'm doing this for several reasons.  As you all know, I detest talking on the phone, hate it, almost as bad as folding laundry.  Also - I have about the cheapest cell phone plan on earth becuase of my hate for the phone, so I plan on not using my minutes, which are few in the first place.  And lastly, I just don't have the time.  As I've said before, I'm not home from about 6:00am until 6:30-7pm.  I get home from work, cook and eat - by then it's about 7:45.  I've now been at it for about 14 hours, the last thing I want to do is talk on the phone, I want to fucking relax, and that's exactly what I do.  So yup, I'm back in no-phone mode, hopefully for awhile becuase I hate that damn thing, I may just shut it off completely and go on email-only contact from now on, that'd rule.

It's supposed to snow today - 5-10"!! WOO HOO!!! Too bad I can't ride the board this weekend though, have tickets to the Rox game on Saturday, plus the Avs are in playoffs this weekend - and Sunday I have to run a 5 mile race down in Cherry Creek.   I'm going to bust the hell out of my 40 minute goal....and come Bolder Boulder, I'm going to absolutely shatter last year's 10K time of 47:03, so beware.

So I went to town on my scanner last night, I'm getting most everything I own scanned.   Letters and cards people wrote me, tax and insurance documents, bank statements, and yes - my pictures.  I've got so many cool pictures, I randomly selected about 20 or 30 of them I scanned to post today - they're old school.  I'm talking early high school pictures, some college pictures, some post-college pictures - I just picked a random assortment.  After I get done, I think I'm going to post every picture I have, that'd rule,  I've got tons of them.  That'll come with the planned re-launch of fleetmack.com set for it's 3rd birthday on January 8, 2005.  That's about it for today, gotta hop back to it.

GO AVS!! The Shark Tank is ours tonight!

April 21, 2004

Man I feel much better today.  I was in a really shitty mood yesterday and I really have absolutely no clue why.  Just went running after work, went home and made some eats, watched the end of the Maple Leafs/Senators game, read a little, went to bed, woke up, worked out, and here I am in a fantastic mood - who knew.  Man I hate random no-reason bad mood days, they suck.  MP3 of the day will sum up that you should stay in a good mood all the time...WOO HOO!!!

So I get a huge ass burrito today, yummy.  Uhm....geez, I have to have something at least somewhat interesting to say today, don't I?  Did anyone see the Chappelle's Show skit where Dave was Lil' John and he called up the real Lil' John?  Oh man, good stuff.  Equally as funny as the previous 2 "Day in the life of Lil' John" skits he did, I know - bold statement.

WHOA!  I just realized what it must be that put me in a good mood, I watched the last 30 minutes or so of Pulp Fiction last night (best movie of all time by far).  I hadn't watched it in close to a year probably, and wow, still as funny as ever.  In fact, I laughed about something during the movie that I've never laughed at before.   The end of the movie where Jules is telling Vincent he's "getting out" (of the mafia) because he saw a miracle save his life, Vincent is questioning wether it was actually a miracle or not, Jules replies with:
"Don't you see, Vince, that shit don't matter. You're judging this thing the wrong way. It's not about what. It could be God stopped the bullets, he changed Coke into Pepsi, he found my fuckin' car keys. You don't judge shit like this based on merit. Whether or not what we experienced was an according-to-Hoyle miracle is insignificant. What is significant is I felt God's touch, God got involved."

Man, that's funny shit, as Homer Simpson would say, "It's funny because it's true!".  I love that movie.  Andy and I noticed something last night though - I think the movie was on Showtime - THEY CUT OUT A SCENE!! Winston Wolf (Harvey Kitel) says to Vince and Jules "I see it in your future, a cab ride!"....that line was cut out! Why?!  Geez, pathetic.

Hmmm, what else what else.  New Wil$on picture for you today.  Did you know Jared Homan was at the VEISHEA riots? (ISU basketball player for those of you who don't know).   New pic of the day as well.   Have a delicious burrito to celebrate hump day today.  Adios todos.

April 20, 2004

They said on the radio this morning that today is the five year anniversary of the Columbine tragedy.  Man I can't believe that was that long ago already.  I remember sitting in my apartment on Delaware St. in Ames with Klaver and Hornick watching that shit live while skipping class.  That was so messed up.  I remember them showing the kid falling from the second story window, but then they never again replayed that scene.  That was so messed up, anyways - I just can't believe it was that long ago, seems like yesterday.  Maybe that's becuase there's an article in the newspaper about it every fucking day here.

So the Flames beat the Canucks, who knew?  Oh, that's right - I did.  I bet the Canucks would have won if they wouldn't have made a huge coaching error by benching Todd Bertuzzi for the whole series......oh wait ;o)  What a jackass.  Honestly, I didn't even watch the game last night, I fell asleep during the first intermission, man I'm a pansy.  Da dunt, da dunt, da dunt.  BRING ON THE SHARKS! The Avs are going to have to whip them up at the Shark Tank.....and for all you Southern Cali readers (I know there's a ton of you!)...go look at our road record, it's sensational.  Beware, Thursday night we're coming to San Jose and are going to rip your fins off.  I hope you give Selanne a warm welcome ;o)  You just better hope we don't get Tanguay and Kariya back or your'e in, as Samir Niananijabad would say, "very deep shit, Peter."

I'm down to weighing 174lbs, ridiculous.  I don't think I've posted that my ultimate goal is to get down to 170, which will be next to impossible, but we'll see.   I've decided I'm not going out until Boulder Kinetics, decided that last Thursday.   Gotta get in better shape before I let myself go to hell for the summer like I always do.

I'm not very exciting today, sorry....humph. It's only Tuesday.

April 19, 2004

Good 'ol Veishea back to causing riots back at Iowa State, gotta love it.  The year before I go to ISU, a guy gets stabbed to death, so it was dry the whole time I was in Ames so we just had good 'ol house parties that never got out of control really...as soon as we leave these immature fucks show up who don't know how to have a good time and have to ruin it for everyone.  Thanks jackasses.  Burn in...uhm...your Chitty Garbage Service binns.

So my weekend was chill as hell, just like I needed it.  Friday Andy and I went to see Kill Bill vol. 2.  That movie is sweet, go watch it.  There is one point in the movie that I literally jumped out of my seat.  If you've seen the movie, it should be blatently obvious which part made me do this, but I'm not going to talk about the movie.  The ending was very disappointing as I expected there to be a huge battle scene.  And I'm proud to say that I predicted what would happen to Elle Driver (Darryl Hannah), so that was pretty sweet to see.  And note:  during the Elle Driver/Budd scene is where I jumped -- so prepare.  All in all, I recommend seeing the movie, but I have but one question for you:  Can you attend my class?  Oh wait...sorry....got sidetracked on a Fast Times at Ridgemont High thing there...don't ask.   Seriously, I do have one question -- what ever happened to Julia Dreyfus's (forgot her character's name) character?  She got her arm chopped off in the first one and the end of Kill Bill vol. 1 was her sitting there with Bill, then we never heard from her again - what gives?!  Today's MP3 of the day will be something from Kill Bill vol. 2 -- not from the actual song, but something you will recognize if you saw the movie.  I was proud to be saying this part word-for-word in my head as it played, I knew immediately how/where I knew it from........

I was insanely productive this weekend.  I changed Laetitia's oil and cleaned her out on the inside.  Got all my laundry done, sheets and floormats included -- and ironing!  I read about 1/2 of my new book.  I cooked.  I ran 9 miles.   I lifted both days.  I spent about $20 all weekend, had to splurge and get a new nalgene as my old one was getting pretty shitty, plus had to buy 5 quarts of 5w-30 valvo and an oil filter for my girl.  Just need to wash my girly up and take the ski racks off and we'll be in summer mode.  It would have been summer yesterday, but the wind was about 200mph all day long.  I hate wind.

New pic of the day will be up...that's about it today, I'm pretty busy.  GO AVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The friends page sucks. I have way more friends than that.  If you are my friend -- real life friend, nothing against you internet friends -- fill out the damn info and send it to me, here's the instructions.    It's time to get this site rollin' again, new material, revamps -- they're all on the way, but I want it to be more interactive, hence the forums and guestbook.  I hate having all the burden of doing all the updating myself.  time to put some of it in your hands.  But for now...just fill out the damn questions and email it to me along with a picture, or just tell me of a picture I have of you on my site and I'll post it.... yup yup.

April 16, 2004

I haven't listened to this song forever, I forgot how good this Core album is, think I'll listen to it all day today.

Renze and his buddy Sharpie were cutting through Denver last night on the way to Vegas and San Diego - so that was pretty cool to get a chance to see them.  The weird thing is, we were sitting there talking about this song, and suddenly it came on randomly.   It's not like it's that common of a song or anything, but I got to talking about the opening riff and how it's cool (as they discussed on BPI the other day), yup - weird.   Anyways, that is our MP3 of the day today and for the weekend...

My batters in baseball are rocking this week so far, but come on - give me a start!   Beckett, Colon, Glavine -- none of them have even thrown yet this week! Insane!   They need to pick up the pace picante sauce quickly, the week is dwindling down quickly.

The weekend is upon us already.  This weekend I have 3 goals: Catch up on sleep, run 10 miles (Cherry Creek Sneak is next weekend already!), and go see Kill Bill Vol. 2.  The only thing shitty is that The Bride already killed GoGo Yubari in Kill Bill Vol. 1 so likely she won't be in the second movie....but you never know with Tarantino flicks.  Either way, yup, we'll put GoGo Yubari up for a picture by the date today, hopefully that'll convince her to date me because she's so damn hot.

Is it just me or has the amount of spam I've gotten about quadrupled in the past month?   In the next few weeks I'll be eliminating my current email address and restarting with a fresh one, however, I will be using php tags to encode it so robots won't crawl and find it.  I mean seriously, every 25-30 seconds I have to hear Special Ed say "I'VE GOT MAIL!! YAY!! I'VE GOT MAIL YAY!!!" and it's driving me nucking futs.

Anywho - that's enough for today, have a great weekend -- new Wil$on picture and picture of the day are up, you know where they are.  Also - post in the forums and sign my guestbook you fools!

April 15, 2004

Well Mr. Bush, you win, I can't outdo the government - today I send you a fat ass check to pay you even MORE of my money.  Thanks for the tax cuts, dipshit.  I'd much rather pay you in one huge lump sum than a few dollars over several months.  Who are you fooling?  Oh that's right, you're fooling people who can't think for themselves.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!  Svatos scores in double OT!!! Is there anything cooler than a double OT victory in the playoffs?  Yeah, didn't think so -- except the fact that the Red Wings and Canucks could both lose in the first rounds.  Again:   WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!  GO AVS GO AVS GO AVS!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the Stamp last night.  Met a fellow Chimaira fan.  I just wrote about 8 paragraphs about how fucking kickass that band is, but I deleted it and decided that if you cannot think for yourself, and are afraid of becoming a fan of the most talented up-and-coming band on Earth, then you don't deserve to hear praises about them, and you sure as hell don't deserve to hear their music.  So basically, if you don't respect Chimaira's lyrics (music I can understand as we all have different tastes, but lyrics are true) -- then FUCK OFF!!!!  Go live in hell with GW and Barry Bonds.

Sorry, I kinda went off there, as you all know, I get very VERY emotional and defensive when it comes to my music.

Did I mention that I woke up in the back seat of my car this morning somewhere by Parker?  That was kinda weird.

The forums are picking up, finally.  If you are ever going to join - now's the time.  It's free, it kills time, it lets you express your opinions, and if you're Kris or Molly - it'll allow you to tell me what happend on the O.C. last night (HINT HINT!!!!)   Seriously though, people are signing up lately and actually posting - thanks for that - and I encourage the rest of you to do the same.  Come on! Show some fleetsupport!  have a nice day!

April 14, 2004

Thomos Vokoun shut out the Red Wings.  Mikka Kippursoff shut out the Canucks.   Normally I'd be happy about both of these things as those are enemies #1 and #2 (in no particular order), however, I strongly fear Kippursoff and the Flames -- so we must cheer for Vancouver, even after the Bertuzzi incident and May being a hardcore cocksucker (we're talking Tadano, here) -- playoffs are weird.

By the way, no reason whatsoever for the Khabiboulin picture above (for the hocky illiterate, that's HA-BE-BOOL-IN, trust me, that one took some time), I just thought it was a cool picture.  By the way, even with Khabibulin and CuJo as my fantasy hockey goalies (Those teams finished first in each conference) -- I still got last place in save % and gaa.  Weak.  I finished in second-last in fantasy hockey.  I suck.

So it's burrito day already.  I love taking Monday off, that strongly rules and makes the week go so fast.  I think I'm heading to the Stampede tonight, it's ladies night -- meaning, I watch cheap-ass girls drink free and wait in line for hours for a 8oz kamikazi while I just go buy my $2 beer in the no-line line and laugh at them for being stupid.  I haven't been there in probably upwards or more than two years so that should be interesting to say the least.

Seriously, can we just leave this guy alone? Yes, he's a far from normal, but I don't believe any of these accusations for a second.

Rebecca Romjin-Stamos is losing the Stamos part of her last name and turning to a full-blown lesbian?  Is that not the coolest thing on Earth?  Nasty was talking about that last night on BPI.   Seriously, how bad can John Stamos be hurting right now?  He has the realization that he starred on Full House.  As if that wasn't bad enough, he just had one of the top 15 hottest women on Earth divorce him (or file, not sure what stage it's in).  He turned her away from men, ruining every man's chances with her.  I mean wow, how cool was she?  She was in X-Men as the coolest X-(wo)Man!  I mean wow, she even got mention in my friendster profile:

Who I Want to Meet: I want to meet Brooke Burke. If you're her, please marry me. If you're Mystique from X-Men, please go into Brooke Burke's form and marry me.

I only have 3 friends on friendster, I feel like a dork.  I feel like a dork for being on there period.  I got suckered into it :)

Don't really have much more to say today, or anything interesting for that matter.   There's new stories on the stories page for you, but that's about it, enjoy!

April 13, 2004

I'M BACK!!!  Hope you enjoyed the fleet-hiatus as much as I did, it'll take awhile for me to get back into the swing of things as usual, but look for this to be updated daily M-F as it used to.  And coming soon to a computer near you -- new WEEKEND updates!! Look for those in a few months, along with a live webcam of me from home.  Yup, might be splurging and getting internet access at home.  Amazing, huh?  What a concept.

First off - Congrats to Matt and Amanda, the proud parents of Taylor Alissa Muhlbauer!! She was born in the early morning of April 9.  Check it!

y the way, I'm a rock star.  Meaning, during my fleet-hiatus, I partied like a rock star more than rock stars even know how to party.  It was great.  I went to San Diego for a week or so.  I went snowboarding.  I went DOWNTOWN! (yup, downtown, me! weird, huh?) I toured (finally) the O'Dells and New Belgium breweries (sort of).  I had visitors.  I partied in Parker, Longmont, Boulder, La Jolla, San Diego, Denver, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, Aurora, Golden, etc.  Yup, there was abotu 20 nights on the town lately.  I'm broke.  My Roth IRA is maxed out.   My savings is depleted.  I bought a plane ticket to go to Vegas (like I needed that).  It snowed the other day.  I went to an Av's playoff game.  I went to Rockies opening day.  I didn't drive drunk once!!! (by the way, I've been on a GREAT stretch of killing that horrible habit cold turkey, VERY proud of myself).   Josh and I managed to get a bartender fired.  I watched Andy roast a 20lb turkey.  I made up about 3 new crock-pot recipes, one of which I'll be eating today.   I continued to never answer my cell phone.  I watched the Avs completly blow a lead last night and fuck up game 3.  I hit on more girls in the past 40 days than I have in the rest of my life, my new mission in life is to get girls somewhat interested in me then snub them.  Kinda stupid and immature, I know, but I don't really care, it's funny and fun.

So you want an update, huh? Go to the new pix page - there's pix from bars, opening day, San Diego, etc.   Lots of goodies there for ya.  The much-anticipated (by me) music pages are ALMOST done!  Should have those up next week - they're complete with photos, ticket stubs, lyrics, sound clips, stories, etc.  It'll basically double the size of my entire site, and few of you will give 2 shits about it becuase none of you like the same music as I do, but I'm pretty proud of this -- it's stripped down and bare so it'll load fast, but I've put countless hours into it.  It won't appear that special, but it just took a ton of time (especially the sound clips incorporated with the lyrics).   Stripping MP3's and converting from .mp3 to .wav back to .mp3 is tedious.

I have random thoughts, stories, and a new rant all in the works as well, I'll put them up later this week.  I didn't do much writing on my hiatus, just a shitton of partying and reading.  The ski racks are about to come off Laetitia, and we'll be back in bike-rack mode for the summer.

Anyways, new MP3 is up today, new pix, new picture of the day, new Wil$on picture - enjoy and welcome back!
