HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM SCHAU!!!!! For your birthday this year, you shall get an ass whopping by the Twins!

Today is off to a really shady start.  I was supposed to get up at 5 O'Clock this morning, yeah - slept in until 5:45.  I'm making breakfast and turn on the news while I'm cooking and what do I see?  My first round draft pick in my Hockey league, Dany Heatley, broke his jaw last night in a car crash.   While this is unfortuante to my fantasy team, it is downright horrible as his teammate Dan Snyder doesn't look like he's going to make it through the accident.   Dany crashed his Ferrari into a wall at 80mph last night and literally cut the car in half.  I'm praying they're both ok, but it's not looking good for Dan Snyder, who has critically injured his skull as he was ejected from the vehicle.  By the way, go here to check out my fantasy hockey team.

So the morning's going bad already and it's only 6:30.  I get to the gym at 7:00 and the whole damn football team is in there lifting weights so I couldn't get on any machine.  Seeing how I'm wearing shorts and a tank top and it's 35 degrees outside, I go outside and run 3 miles right quick, now my ears are freezing and I have a slight cough.  And now, here it is, 7:58 and time to start the days work.  Man I hope today gets better.

Payday is today, this excites me greatly.  I get to write a small rent check tomorrow as opposed to the very large rent checks I've been writing for the past year. This also excites me greatly.  My water bottle is full, must have filled it before I left work yesterday - ok, things are getting better already.  I think I'll go make some delicious green tea, that always makes for a good start to a day. I'm donating blood at 2 bells today as well, that usually makes me feel pretty good about myself.

I can't believe it's only Tuesday, it seems like it should be at least Thursday by now.  Why do I have the sudden strong urge to go back to Iowa for a few days?  I'll leave that for you to decide.  Alice In Chains rules.  Random thoughts are popping in and out of my head right now.  TJ likes to flash her boobs - here's proof. -- thanks for the picture, Wilson :)

There's a picture of my lovely car, Laetitia, on the newpix page today as she was preparing to get her oil changed just after her fresh window tint job and snowboard rack installation.  Wow, I get way too excited over that.  There's a few other pix on the newpix page, my Wilson picture supply as been replenished - thanks Shitty, Hart, and Wilson.  New Wilson story is in the works, and Wilson's current boss, Ryan, has been so kind as to update the Wilson Resume for me as well, I'll take care of updating that when I get around to it - until then, enjoy a few random things here and there on the site.  As usual, I forgot my good zip disk at home with all my stuff on it, and I'm moving so it's probably packed deep within the depths of hell so you won't see big updates anytime soon.

Have a great morning, afternoon, evening,  night, and dreamtime.   I had a weird dream again last night, but we'll not get into that -- why do I keep having dreams about me beating someone severly after breaking into my car?  I think I need psychological help for liking my car way too much.

Happy Monday, Garfields.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEINERS YOU COCKLESS BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weekend has come and gone, but you probably figured that out on your own as you're not that big of an idiot.  I was successfully incognito all weekend while putting in public appearances at the same time.  Went to a work party Friday night then went home, made a pizza, watched Swingers until about 4am then woke up the next morning to my Seahawks doormat being turned over on its face, usually a sign that Josh had stopped by.  Saturday I was very productive.  Got my address changed everywhere, finally got Laetitia's front window re-tinted (from this little incident back in February).  Laetitia got one of her bike racks taken off her and the snowboard racks were put on for the winter season.  Laetitia got her oil changed.   Next on the agenda, install a new thermostat, clean her inside and out, new air filter - then she'll be tip top, ready to drive me back and forth to Vail all winter long. WOO HOO!!!!

Saturday evening was a short one, we'll not get into that.  I went to a housewarming party at Krissy's house - cajun style.  It was pretty sweet but I ended up calling it an early night and watching the playboy channel over at Bob's place, wow - cool channel.  Do you know they have naked women on that channel?  Humph, who knew?  Yesterday I came into work for awhile, worked out for a few hours, brought some stuff to goodwill, and caught up in the phone call department.  Still got about 10 people I need to call, but I'll probably put that off for a week or so.  My f**king phone is messing with me lately, it's been hanging up on people more than ever.   That's actually one of the reasons I hate talking on the phone, it always hangs up on people then I just don't call back.

I don't feel like typing today.  I have a ton of stuff to put up but I'm not going to today, don't really feel like it right now.  Blah.  Have a fantastic week.   Hey Tiff - how's it feel actually working for once?! Waaaaa hahahhahahahhahahahaha.   Ok, that wasn't at all funny, but I think it is.  I had leftover spaghetti for dinner last night for those of you who care.  Goodbye.

Can Aebischer fill Roy's skates? So far - yes.

Ok - So I don't answer my phone unless I REALLY want to talk or am in the mood for going out, we all know this.  Also, I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the phone number - so my question to you all - who the hell is this and why did you try calling me last night?! This one's got me stumpted.

TGIF, this week went fast with my mid-week morning off so it doesn't even really seem like friday, but either way - this'll be my last weekend in my apartment, it's been a good year there but I'm ready to move on, but not ready to move my TV, that could suck.  Anyways....

Woke up at 5 bells again this morning, made a delish breakfast burrito and went to the gym, yup, sure did.  Should be a pretty mellow weekend, I'm trying to lay low for awhile, tonight I'm going to a party a lady I work with is having for awhile, then probably just rent a movie and order a pizza since this could quite possibly be the last weekend of my life I'll ever live alone, won't get a chance to spend time with myself as much or on demand so I've gotta enjoy it while I can!  Tomorrow I've got a ton of stuff to get done that I didn't do last weekend and I'm going to Krissy's housewarming party on Saturday.  No Seahawks game this week so I'll be staying away from the bar on Sunday as well.  Hopefully I can get the Martin Luther King Jr. weekened ski trip organized, get my new snowboard (which by the way, may no longer be the Baron - but might be a Nitro Shadow 159) get started packing, trash a lot of shit, and bring a lot of shit to goodwill - this could be a very productive weekend, let's hope so anyways.

By the way - CONGRATS TO JENNY AND ROSS who are getting married this weekend, sorry I couldn't be there but you've still got my best wishes..

Paranoid Android is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite songs of all time - Buck and Renze, you shoudl be happy about that.  As for MP3 of the day, I was going to do a Robert Palmer tribute but my Kazaa is broke and I don't want to reinstall it as I'm sick of spyware and scumware and all that shit it installs on your machine, so we'll just stick with Money for the weekend.

Nothing outdoorsey for me this weekend, humph.  I think next weekend it'll be great with all the leaves turning and all that, so I'll probably find someplace cool to go hiking next Saturday, no big climbs or anything, just something or another random.  By the way - I'm not running my half-marathon this weekend like I was supposed to.  I kind of fell out of shape the last 3 weeks.  I really wish I had someone to run with like I used to, that made it so much more motivating and easy to do daily, but whatever, no bitching on this end.  If I really want it I'll learn to motivate myself like I do in all other areas of life.

I could type forever today but I've got some stuff to get done so I'll have to cut this short.  I should be in the forums quite frequently today perhaps, and I'm working on sifting through the inbox, so all you random strangers who write me stuff, I promise I'll get back to you within a week - yes, a week.  But my real friends get first priority and always will.  Take care, be safe, have a great weekend, and look forward to major updates next week for once -- I might even archive the newpix page for once seeing how I've got about 2 months worth of pix on it right now!  Blah, ok, I'm done. bye.

September 25, 2003

I got enough sleep to last a lifetime.  I went to bed at 7:30 last night and got up at 7:00 this morning - rock on!  You know you're getting old when you think it's cool that you got to go to bed at 7:30 the previous evening.  I got off work, went to the grocery store, made food, and fell asleep watching South Park - it doesn't get much better than that.  Ok, it really does - but after basically no sleep lately, that felt damn good.  Starting to pack up for the 50 yard move next week, literally - I'm moving about as far as I can hit my 58 degree lofted sand wedge...ok, that's not true - but I'm moving as far as I can hit my regualar sand wedge, that's a fact!

I've switched my mind on getting the Burton BMC - I am now going with a 2004 board and a bit shorter than the BMC.  The BMC I wanted was 164" Wide, but I figured in order to land my 180's and such - and 360s when I get to that level, I'd like the board a little shorter so I don't have to whip as much around.  My current Lamar Hetzel board is 158, it's heavier than a bag of cement and I can pull 180's on that yet, so I figured if I get a board a bit shorter and WAY lighter I should be able to rip it up.   My forumla was "A Bit Shorter than my current 158 board + lightest board I can find + wide board + more flex than my board" = BURTON BARON 157" WIDE.   That's the choice - check it out, it's a phat ride, I'll be buying it next week, then it's time to start shopping for bindings.  This board is so tight, I can't wait to get it (Click the 157 to see my color).

This happens about once every 2 or 3 months or so - but I'm on a current streak of about 4 days straight of listening to Darkside of the Moon both in my car and when I get home, it just goes on repeat. You care, don't you?

Laetitia got her car registration renewal notice in the mail last week.   It's only going to cost me $45 to register her this year, that rocks.  But I have to go get an emissions test done on her again, ain't done that for 2 years, so this year it'll cost me about $60 to keep her on the row-ad (Black Sheep).

I'm boring today, very very boring.  1 new picture is up on the new pix page and a new picture of the day is up.  We're sticking around with Money as the MP3 today and stuff, yup.   Got a ton of updating to do to this site, it's getting bland again.  Use the forums, they're always fresh. I'll be going thru and cropping the forums one of these days to make sure all the stuff is staying on topic, yeah - like I'll ever get around to that.  I'm boring today, I'll stop talking now.

September 24, 2003

Hello to all my friends, family, stalkers, psychotic people with nothing better to do, new visitiors, loyal fans, and complete morons.  How are you all doing today?  Upset that I didn't update 'till the noon hour?  Well deal with it and get a life, it's just a stupid website about what I do every day :o)

I didn't mean for that to sound bitter, I just like mocking you all from time to time for reading about my lame ass life, I still really don't understand why you read this site, it's pointless and stupid.  I'm starting to agree with the people who send me hatemail, this site is dumb.  Whatever, it's my hobby and I'm truly glad you enjoy reading what I have to say - although I still think you could find something better to do with your time :o)

3 people in the past week have said to me something along the lines of "Who are you and what have you done with Bryan Mack?!"  Just thought I'd share that with you.

I'm still in a boombastic mood.  Seahawks are 3-0, the weather is cooling down, my water bottle is empty on my desk - oh wait, that sucks, guess I may just have to fill it up.

Went to Potts last night, stayed out pretty late, hence, I took the morning off today, that's what my vacation time is for right?  Well, couldn't have used my vacation time in any better way than this morning, even used a clean contact case last night. How about them apples? How about them pears?  How about them pistachios?   Man I'm an idiot today.

I haven't yet told you this, but this week is "If you don't like this song, you are never allowed to speak with me again." week on the MP3 page - yesterday was Nirvana's The Man Who Sold The World.  Today will be....well, check it out yourself, and take to heart what I wrote about it, I mean it.  Everyone has the right to their own musical tastes, but wow, this weeks selection of songs - .... ooooooo ... you BETTER like them or don't think about being my friend any more.

Picture of the day is me looking retarted while climbing Long's Peak back in July, yup, sure is.  By the way - I'll have more cool pictures of climbing this summer up as soon as I get them from Ryan.  Peace and Hair Grease.

Thanks for signing the guestbook, Aly!  I love you and miss you too! I realize that you get very pissed when people don't stay in touch and I'm terrible about that as of late, I don't even email people anymore.  So I guess I can just take this opportunity to publically say that you're my hero becuase you used to drive a Chevy Citation and we had tons of fun walking and drinking lemonade and driving around in the rain when I had no car cd player so had a boombox in my back seat playing cassette tapes in the summer after my Sophomore year of high school.  Wow, that was a huge run on sentence. I'm out.

September 23, 2003

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUCKTROS BUCKTROS BUCK!!!!!!!!! Have a beer or 13 for me - I know I can count on you.

Man, I'm in such a great mood today and I can't really explain why, I know why, but I just can't explain it.  Been up since 5 bells, made some breakfast, lifted some weights, got to work around 7ish, now taking a quick 10 minute break to update this beast before I go to training all day.  Either way - FANTASTIC mood today! Woo Hoo! :o)

The Suck-os even won last night and that still doesn't spoil my mood.   I lost fantasy football and it didn't spoil my mood.  The Royals won't be in the playoffs but it didn't spoil my mood.  Man I'm in a good mood, woo hoo!

Going out again tonight, that should keep me in my good mood, we'll see.   Headin' to CB & Potts with Chris, Beth, and Tiff.  Hopefully we can keep our bar tab under control a little better tonight as opposed to Saturday night! Ouch!

MP3 will be updated today, something to keep us in a good mood, new Wilson picture, and the picture of the day is linked above. New pictures were put up yesterday of the hockey game and of the weekend. Perhaps one of these days I'll actually remember to bring one of my about 75 things I've written at home on my laptop in to work so you can have something else to read, but I doubt it, I'm pretty forgetful at 6:30 in the mornin'!  Have a great day!  And once again - WOO HOO!

Oh - one more thing, the downloads page has links to a ton of stuff I've posted in the past but only linked in the news, including Andy's stuff (aka - Chonky)

September 22, 2003

Are you still not a believer?  Are you kidding me?  What is wrong with you?  Week one we shut down the #1 passing offense in the NFL.  Week 2 we shut out the Cardinals 38-0 on the road in 110 degree heat.  Some of you mocked me becuase it was the Cardinals and they're terrible - but look who beat Green Bay yesterday, yup, the Cardinals.  So what did we do yesterday?  Convince you yet?   Rams were dropped 24-23 yesterday.  That places the Seahawks at 3-0, first place, 2 game lead over the 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals.  IT'S ONLY WEEK 3 AND WE HAVE A 2 GAME DIVISION LEAD!!! PEOPLE - PUT YOUR HEADS ON STRAIGHT!! WE'RE GOING ALL THE WAY THIS YEAR!!!  Bye week this week, then we go to Green Bay, then we play vs. the 49ers.  We have a STRONG possibility of starting out 5-0.  How's your team doing?  Yeah - didn't think so.  Bottom line....We're undefeated and have outscored our opponents 89-33 this year.  Boom, how good again is your team?

Sorry, had to get that out of my system, the Seahawks are just too damn good and you will all be believers shortly.  And honestly - you tell me ONE other person who has been talking up the 2003-2004 Seahawks season since last December and I'll show you a liar.  By the way, we've won our last 6 games.

Sorry for no update Friday, I was sick.  I've got a ton of shit to do today, probably won't get to sifting through my inbox until Wednesday or so, sorry if I don't email you until then - pretty busy.

Went to the Avs/Stars game on Thursday night - got Kickass seats, 5 rows behind the goalie, pictures shall be up soon....

Went out with Chris, Beth, and Tiff on Saturday night.  We went to Nick & Melissa's place for awhile then hit up the PCL - as usual, had a kickass time and ran up a huge tab, pictures shall be up soon...

Watched the Seahawks dominate (not really, but they won) yesteray, no pictures of this event will be up.  I've got to get busy.  No new stuff today except the new pix page will be updated shortly.....maybe a picture of the day, but i'm busy.  have a boombastic week mr. lova lovas (shaggy)

September 18, 2003

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELANIE SIEPKER!!!!!! You have variouos things for your birthday around the site today.....even a non-Slipknot MP3 of the day

First off - 2003 sucks.  Again need to ask for prayers for a friend whose brother died in a car accident.  I had never met him and don't really know her as well as I know most people - but the family could use all the help they can get right now.

I went to bed earrrrrrly last night.  Got up laaaaaaate this morning.   Going to bed earrrrrrrly tonight.  Getting up earrrrrrrly tomorrow.   Staying up laaaaaaaate tomorrow. I could see my breath this morning, not cool (figuratively speaking)

Ok Dick and Janes, here's the schpeal -- I have a list of those of you who expressed interest in for the ski trip in January.  I'm coming out of the woodwork this weekend and grabbing my phone for a few hours.  Sometime this weekend expect a phone call.  I'm making the final list this weekend.  This will decide which kind of place we decide to get, if you decide in December that you want to come, you can party with us but you're on your own for parking and sleeping arrangements - and let me tell you, there's not a lot of extra overnight parking available in Breckenridge!!   Bottom Line:  Final Guest List will be prepared by Monday, shooting for 20-25 people.

Did you download Chonky yet?  Oh man, it's funny stuff!  If anyone is in a bad mood, this will cheer you up for 3 minutes of your life.  And if you don't have Windows Media Player - you can just go check out supergreg as a backup - after all, he is numba one.

It was bound to happen and I didn't announce it, but I lost my most-popular link three weeks ago, so did several other people and I got an explanation so I really don't care.  Plus my hits haven't tapered off one bit since I lost it, so it just shows what this site is capable of on it's own.  We're still sitting solid at over 20,000 unique visitors a month - giddy the funk up.  So sign the guestbook if you haven't yet and read up in the forums.  There's now a forum to discuss your favorite tv shows - rock on!

I got my "WORK IS DUMB" shirt from Jimmy (aka - Jobless Jimmy) last night, it's sweet as hell - I strongly recommend that you all visit his site and buy one as well.   If sales go well there is speculation (meaning we are both interested in the idea but nobody has or will take a step towards it for a few months) of a Jobless Jimmy / Fleetmack joint shirt that shall be created.  If you have any art skills whatsoever, email me your idea for a shirt that would promote both my site and his, too bad I'm a talentless jackass when it comes to art - as you can tell by the horrible structure of this website!

Ok, enough for now, have a great Slursday!  Oh, btw, I have a friend named Mike Wil$on, he has a new picture up on the Wil$on 2.0 page today....enjoy.

September 17, 2003

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICH PETERS!!!!!!!!!

This is possibly funnier than Supergreg (3 meg file - download or view but it might take a minute)

So Laetitia is going to be such a sexy car again in about a week.   Last night I swapped out 2 fuses in her, my stereo and moonroof had both blown a fuse somehow, kinda odd, but they're both kosher like a Jewish meal now.  She got her tires filled with air last night.  She's getting her front passenger window (finally) retinted on Saturday, also Saturday she's getting an oil change and air filter change courtesy of my own hands.  And get this - this is an exciting time for her - the bike racks are coming off and we're going back to the snowboard racks!   WOO HOO!!!! She will get cleaned and polished inside and out and will be brand spanking new, only with 147,000 miles on her with basically no problems (needed a new radiator after I hit a phesant about 67,000 miles ago).  Man I love that car.   Only bad thing - I dropped my face plate to my CD player the other day when I was walking to my apartment so the LCD is all jacked up, I'm trying to find a new faceplate for it on Ebay with minimal success, but it still plays fine!

Are you kidding me?! There is no chance whatsoever for anyone in the NHL if our second line is Kariya, Sakic, and Selanne -- that's our second line! Ridiculous.  The Stanley Cup shall be in Denver in a mere 8 months.  I believe it's 23 days until hockey season begins, but Selanne had a hat trick last night in the White/Burgandy game, rock on.

Talked to Rikelle last night, I'm going to go watch Jerry's band (Tyfoid Mary) play on Friday night with her.  That should be pretty cool as I haven't seen them play for about 2 years, they're cool shit.  So that's Friday.

Saturday I think I'm going out with Dunner and Tiff Stork, I'll have to call Beth up to ensure that.  Like you care.

It's been brought to my attention that I need to post more pictures on this site.   This is true, I haven't used my camera lately.  I should have taken pix at the ISU/Iowa game (in Denver) last weekend, but I slacked off.  What can I do?  I promise I'll get some new pictures up sometime next week - and maybe if you're lucky they won't be pictures of me drinking and playing foosball.  I really do do more than that in life - por ejemplo - watching football, climbing, snowboarding, reading, cooking, running, lifting, working - yes, there's more to me that the pictures you see, don't be so ignorant.

So I was reading double-J's site this morning as usual and want to steal his idea and tell you a similar story, you can go read his if you'd like - while you're there, buy a shirt from him, I did.  So anyways, here's a quick tale for you all about something stupid I did in college.  It was the last semester of my senior year, the spring of 2001.  At Iowa State, you're required to take this class called Management 478 in your final semester as a business student.  You had basically 3 parts to your grade, 50% was your tests, 25% was your group project, and 25% was your individual project.  Well, I had about 98% of the test points earned and like 23% of the group points.  I was sitting at a solid A+ so I knew my project didn't matter - I'd still pass.  I never cared about grades, who cares if my A gets turned to a D?  I still graduate, who the hell looks at GPA? Nobody.  We were supposed to be working on our individual project all semester long.   The prof assigned us each an industry, mine was "Hotel and Casino Resorts."  We had to analyze 3 corporations within the business, find their official business strategy, develop 2 alternate strategies for each of the 3 corporations (complete with like 4 or 5 charts and graphs per company), and pick the one strategy we devised that would be better than their current strategy.  This sounded like way too much work.  I met the requirements by making the graphs, including the appendix and table of contents, etc.  I then actually discussed their current business strategy.   People had been working on this for months, at this point I had spent about 4 hours on it.  So I developed all sorts of ideas in my head, but then decided there was just one strategy a casino resort could use to better itself -  sell out to the mafia.   I wrote a 20 page paper basically on why the casino industry as a whole should sell out to the mafia.  I cited the movie Casino in the paper and several other stupid shit.  I thought it was hilarious.  I turned it in, fully expecting to get a 0%, but I get it back and it says, honest to God, "60%    D-, Is this a joke???"

It ruled.  In fact, I still have that paper with those comments on it, if I can find it at home I'll scan it and post it for you all to read, it rules.   I would just post the document, but it's not nearly as funny until you read the professor's comments.  Great stuff.

That's all for now - New MP3 and new Picture of the Day are up.  Happy Hump Day!

September 16, 2003

Man I love Fox Trot, funny stuff.

I had the coolest damn dream last night.  It was a Nightmare on Elm Street dream.  I was dreaming, I knew I was dreaming, and Freddy Kreuger was chasing me and trying to kill me.  I kept trying to wake up so he wouldn't kill me, but it wouldn't work. We were throwing knives at each other and trying to kill each other, and every few minutes, the dream would feel like a new dream.  Say, for example, Freddy at one point was chasing me in this meat locker and about to kill me.   Then it was like a new dream and I forgot that Freddy was ever chasing me.   I'd be in my old high school walking to class and Freddy jumps out of a locker.   The coolest part of the dream was I woke up in my bed and was sitting up thinking "wow, that was a messed up dream." and just as I lay down to sleep again, Freddy jumps in through my window and tries to kill me again!  It was so damn cool! I thought I was awake and there was Freddy Kreuger in my bedroom trying to kill me!   Then I really woke up...or did I?   I'm just waiting for Freddy to jump in my office right now so he can tell me I'm still dreaming and kill me.  That'd suck.

That was much better than the dream I had on Sunday night, really don't understand where any of this came from.  In my dream, I was Theo Huxtable from the Cosby Show.  (Have I ever told you that Theo Huxtable is a hybrid of Rich Peters (high school friend) and LL Cool J?) I'm guessing this was because I watched the Cosby Show the other night on Nick at Nite.  So me (theo) and some chick were on the beach someplace making out as the waves rolled over us.  I think I got this from the preview of some TV show on Fox these days.  So anyways, all of a sudden the chick stops and says to me (Theo), "What's that in the water?" And there's this dead chick's zombie type creature in a wedding dress that started chasing us with a machete.   We couldn't shake her and all of a sudden, Cockroach (from Cosby Show) shows up with a shaved head on this Jeep Wrangler and whips out an UZI and blows the wedding-dress zombie girls' brains out.  That dream was quite disturbing as it made no sense.

Enough about that. I have some videos to you courtesy of Matthew Renze, they're quite funny and pretty short.  Even if you don't know us or hang out with us, you may find these amusing as they're not inside jokes or anything, just a few funny things that took place on the boat at KK's bachelor party at Lake Okaboji on the Iowa/Minnesota border last weekend. I was not in attendance so these videos just had to give me a glimpse into how fun the weekned must have been.

Wow, Fleetwood Mac and Johnny Cash are acclaimed on the same site on the same day, nice work Rozz!

Video 1 - Sam spitting beer all over KK (either click the link to watch it, or right-click and select "save target as" to watch it)
Video 2 - McGowan spilling beer all over Kriel with the boat in motion (either click the link to watch it, or right-click and select "save target as" to watch it)

I will put up a new Wilson picture today - but they are running low.  Please send me any Wilson pictures you may have.  Also, a new Wilson story is needed.  I decided not to promote the last contest, as you all probably figured out by now.  Picture of the day is still the Man in Black and MP3 is still Johnny Cash - The Ballad of Ira Hayes.

Wow, quite the weekend.  Just chilled out at Old C's on Friday night and played foosball, that was about it.  Saturday got up at about 8 bells and headed out to the Sport's Column to watch the Iowa/ISU game.  I had no idea the crowd would be that huge, the line was down the block and around the corner to get in at 9!  It hit capacity before the game and it was shoulder-to-shoulder and louder than hell in there.  I ran into several people that I had no clue lived in Denver and hadn't seen in years.  A few examples you ask?  Well, I was standing there and Amy Horn approached me, probably hadn't seen her for about 6 or 7 years.  Ran into my old neighbor from college, Kathy, and hung out and talked with her for awhile.  Then ran into Evan Slater from Coon Rapids.  We ended up going to the Flying Dog after the game and partying pretty hard over there, called it a night pretty early.  There's some possible fantastic news that could have come out of that involving the Ski season, but we'll leave that alone for now.......

So this was random, Kelly, Carrie and I were walking to the Flying Dog from Sport's Column Saturday afternoon and some guy randomly stops Kelly.  He's on the phone and I say "Hey, I got the same phone as you."  He grabs my phone from me and looks at it.  My phone says "Hi Mr. Mack" when you open it, he reads this and says "Are you Mr. Mack?"  I say "Yup, so is my dad."  He says "Is that your last name?"  I say "We'll put it this way, if I were a teacher, the students would call me Mr. Mack."  He says "I know a Mr. Mack from back home in Iowa."  I say "No shit?  I'm from Iowa"  He says "Yeah, this guy's name is Bryan Mack."    I say "Really?  How does he spell it?"  He says "B-R-Y-A-N.  I went to Briar Cliff with him."  Me, not shocked at all, says "wow, pretty neat."  Sure enough, thorugh a google search of my name I discovered there's a Bryan Mack who played baseball at Briar Cliff in Iowa.  Quite odd.  (and an inmate with the same name, but I swear that's not me)

Yesterday I woke up and it was time for NFL.  Yee-haw! Seahawks beat the Cardinals 38-0.  Several turnovers, perfect defense.  Seattle has only given up 10 points all year - and that includes game 1 this year against the #1 passing offense in the NFL (The Saints).  If you aren't yet convinced that they are Super Bowl contenders - watch them roll the Rams next week, then we will probably be taken seriously even though the Rams suck in my opinion.  I'll probably eat my words - oh wait, no I won't.  Seahawks rule!!

Payday is today, giddy the muther funk up.  I wrote a lot of jargon this weekend, none of which do I deem worthy of posting here, although nothing here is really worth posting, but for some reason I tend to amuse or entertain some of you.  Apparently fewer, my site fell 12,000 sites in popularity, back down to 313,000 most popular on the web.  Humph.

Did I mention that the Seahawks have only given up 10 points this year?  how about Ken Hamlin?  talk about a beast!  Seahawks rule.

Ok, nothing new today, I just felt like typing a little here and a little there.   Johnny is staying up as MP3 for awhile, he's the man.

7:50am and the phone goes "Ring Ring".  Bryan looks at the phone and it says "Ethan's Mommy".   That's Rikelle's name in my phone.

Me:  What up RIKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Riki:  Did you hear the news?
Me:  That Rose is moving to Pennsylvania?
Riki:  Uhm, nope.  Other news.
Me:  Don't think I heard any other news
Riki:  Johnny Cash died last night.
Me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! FUCK FUCK!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I didn't realize how many people knew this guy was my hero.  I'm scared to check my email to see how many of you wrote me, got 2 phone calls this morning already and have had a few people stop by my office and I've only been here 20 minutes.   Thanks to Wilson for introducing me to Johnny's music years ago.

Johnny - Thanks for everything, rest in peace my man.  I hope you're living the life in heaven, and I'm glad you're reunited with June and your brother, Jack.

And lastly - HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY SMITH AND MIKE HART!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend.  Go Cyclones, Go Seahawks.

September 11, 2003

I'm not tired but I cannot get sleep.  Fell asleep around 9:30, woke up around 11.  Fell asleep around 5:30, woke up around 7.  I'm in Tyler Durden mode again.  I think I've finally figured out my sleep problems.  I just can't sleep when I've got a lot on my mind, and these days there's just no stop to my mind's activity.  I've been having tons of really weird thoughts lately, quite disturbing.   I just have way too much on my mind.

Very busy at work yet, but hell, I'll update this for you anyways today, I've been slacking lately.  I rolled into Golden this morning to see about 450,241 American flags.  It took me about 10 minutes (literally) to figure out what the hell was going on.  Is it Memorial Day?  Noooo.  Is it Labor Day? Noooo.   Did a president Die? Is it Veterans Day? Is it Flag Day? Is it President's Day?   Noooo.  Oh, that's right, 2 years ago someone flew planes into buildings so we put flags up for that reason today.  I in no way am saying they shouldn't do something to remember that day, but honestly - Pearl Harbor day, D-Day, Sept. 11, Flag Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day - in about 300 years every day of the year we will have some sort of occasion to celebrate how great our country is.   It's kind of getting out of hand.  Can't we think of something a little more unique than putting flags everywhere?  And on a side note - when the hell are they going to finish the construction on that damn bridge here in Golden?!  They've had it torn up since I started working here well over a year and a half ago!  Sheesh.

29 days until hockey season.

Let me know if you plan on coming skiing over Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 19th-ish) for 3 days - we'll have a house in Breck most likely.  Got about 8 people interested so far - you shoudl be interested too.  I'll probably book a place in mid-October or late September, so let me know ASAP as I'll have to figure out what everyone can afford and such.  I'm thinking we'll get a place similar to this.

Iowa State is going for our sixth consecutive victory over Iowa this weekend, hope we can do it again - we'll be at Sport's Colunmn around 8:30 or 9 in the a.m. to prepare for the watching.  Be there or be triangular.

I put a topic up in the forums that it'd be cool to see everyone involved in, why not - check it.

New memories are on the stories page, they contain a few Wilson Parables (shorter than a Wilson story, but still quite amusing).

Picture of the day is FINALLY updated - it's me and Funky Mark (of the "he kicked me" story fame) at B52's last weekend, the Sunday before Labor day. Mp3 of the day will be from the Mamma's and Pappa's, one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time.  Wilson picture is updated today as well.  I am running low on Wilson pictures and it's time to request for a new Wilson story - so get on it people!  I've got literally about 30 things I've written in the past month about random stuff and realized that I truly suck as a writer, I should take a creative writing class or something, I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

Ok, I'm hella busy today, gotta get back at it.  Prepare for the Seahawks to be 2-0 after the weekened....

September 10, 2003

Holy cow I'm tired.  I got back to Denver at about 7 this morning.   Laetitia was in a HUGE hurry to get home as she and I were very tired.   (disclaimer: by clicking this link, you waive your rights to chew me out for risk of having your IP address banned from fleetmack.com) I've gotten 10 hours of sleep since I woke up Saturday morning.  I am busier than hell right now at work, have enough to keep me busy until November most likely (no exaggeration).

Although I don't have time to update, I need to make time for this.   Please continue to pray for Denny Hornick and his family.  His illness was very breif and luckily he got through without having to suffer too much and got to say his farewells.  But please please contine to pray for all of them.  Even though he was aware of the cancer since June, this is still quite a shock.

I'll try to have an update tomorrow for you if I can find the time.   Sorry for the lack of anything new these past few weeks, I promise we'll be back to normal in due time.

Holy cow I'm in a terrible mood today, my life just has me by the balls doesn't it?

September 8, 2003

Watch out Mr. Dante Stallworth - the Seahawks' Ken Hamlin will hit you so damn hard your helmet will fall off as you get knocked into next week and drop the ball.

2003 continues, I need to again ask you for prayers for the family of one of my closest friends.  If you were close friends with me in elementary school, high school, or college you may wish to email me about this one - I'm currently locating an address to send cards to.  I will be going back to Iowa tonight for the funeral and returning on Wednesday.

Other than the tragic news I received yesterday afternoon, the weekend went fairly well and can be summed up in one word: football.  Yes football, watched it all day Saturday and all day Sunday, saw several games, saw that Iowa State whipped up Ohio (who cares) and more importantly - THE SEAHAWKS!!  I told you, they are the real deal this year, they beat the Saints 27-10, but were up 27-3 at one point.  This from our 28th ranked defense last year going up against the #1 passing team in the NFL last year.  Our defense ripped them to shreds.  Let the Super Bowl season begin.   Other noteables:  exactly as I predicted, Kurt Warner is washed up.  I have no idea why all you idiots and analysts are predicting them to win the division.   I mean come on, 6 fumbles just by him?  At least he recovered 3 of them.   But yeah, losing 3 fumbles and an interception?  How is that the quarterback for a team set to win the division?  That division is a fight between the Seahawks and 49ers - the Rams are as bad as the Cardinals.  Mark my words.  Seattle plays the Cardinals next week. Bring it on.

Dolphins lost, Jets lost, Bears lost, Browns lost, Raiders lost, Packers lost, looks like my team is the only team out of my friends' teams that knows how to win! Woo hoo!

I'm in a somber mood today besides the Seahawks' win so I'm not going to update anything except the MP3.  The MP3 of the day will be a tribute.

HOLY SHIT!! UNBELIEVABLE

Ok, I REALLY don't have time to update this again today, but I have a strong feeling that several of you will attack me and slit my throat if I don't do it, so here goes.

This has been an insanely busy week for me and next week shows no signs of slowing down.  I've been up at 5am every day this week and been going to bed aroudn 10 - long week!  I'm flat broke until payday, but that's going to rock because then my rent will drop MAJORLY for the next 6 months, so in 6 month's I'll be completly out of debt and should have a decent sized savings account going for me.  WOO HOO!

Watched the Jets/Skins game last night, was a pretty good game!  I was able to continue my streak of not drinking, hopefully can continue that through the weekend.  I'm going for attempt #4 at climbing 4 14ers in one day on Sunday - leaving at midnight Saturday.  So get this - how big of a geek thing to do is this - my Friday night (tonight) will be as follows.  Lift weights after work, go grocery shopping, go running, watch Lord of the Rings II by myself, go to bed.  Should be a cheap, alcohol-free night for me.  Then Saturday I'm going to surround myself with people with one goal in mind - drinking as much as they possibly can while watching football.  I'm only going to do one of these things, and I plan on watching football.   Basicaly, this sums up my intentions of no drinking.  Have I told you my goal is to not drink in all of September?  That's going to be hella hard with that Iowa/Iowa State game next weekend at the Sport's Column, but hey - we'll see what we can do.  I didn't drink last year for that game, I was DD as I had pneumonia and was sicker than a dog, man that sucked.  Jacob (guy I work with) and I developed a formula the otehr day about drinking.  It turns out that all problems in life go back to drinking.  Worries of driving, getting fat, being hungover, missing workout time, eating carbs after 6, money problems, eating unhealthy late at night, etc.  These are all problems derived from drinking.  If drinking were eliminated, all worries and problems in the world would be gone....except women.  However, when do we meet most of the women we (I) date?  While drinking.  If I were to stop drinking, I could meet a woman who also does not drink and all problems in life would be excluded.  But I have one question for you - how boring would your life be if you never had a problem?! :o)

Nelly has a new drink out called "pimp juice".  This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Go to 00k's site and read her blog today, it poses many interesting things that I agree with.  I'm sure she'd highly appreciate it if you were offended ;o)

I've got a TON of new stuff to post, but all you get today is a few new pictures - the other stuff I forgot at home.  Got an addition to the Wil$on resume emailed to me by his current boss!  I'll have to contact Mike persoanlly to get the Ok to post that one, we'll see what happens.

New MP3 of the weekend is up (finally) as is picture of the day and Wilson picture (it's Wilson and me doing a shot of beer-cake (don't ask) in the dorms when we were 18 - note my cool Too $hort shirt!).  I'll clean this site up next week I pinkey swear.  Have a great and SAFE weekend.  Have a shot of Yukon Jack for me since I'm not drinking.  Take care!  I hope you will all do me well and cheer the Seahawks on to victory over the Saints!!! We need all the fans we can get!

September 4, 2003

So I was wrong, still way to busy to update, this never happens.   Sorry - maybe later. r2d2 is driving me nucking futs today.

September 3, 2003

5:26ish pm: Sorry about not updating, I'm just honestly insanely busy and dont' have time for this right now.  I'll try to come in early tomorrow and update, add pix and a bunch of new shit if I remember.  I'm going to try to get up at 5 again tomorrow to get some shit done.  I'm currently in the process of cutting weight down to 170 (I'm at 178 right now) and then hopefully after the half-marathon later this month, I can get that up to 180 again, but solid muscle.  Dieting rules, it's almost fun.   And getting up early making breakfast and lifting then working all dya when the day flies by in what seems like 10 minutes - wow - it's perdy dandy, just like cotton candy.   Ok, this is dumb, I'm out.

7:30ish am: I will update when I get a chance, I'm very very busy and trying to meet a deadline right now.  Sorry.  Until then, I know I've said this before on here, but amazingly it happened again today - a foreshadowing of a good day.  I left for work at 5:50 this morning (worked out before work), started up the car to hear Willie B. on KBPI say "Here's some Rammstein for ya and Stone Sour is up next."    Good music for my drive to work = good day.  Wish me luck on finishing this shit up, then I will reward you all with an update, finally a real update, we're talking Wilson picture, rant, Religion, MP3 - the whole shabang!!

September 2, 2003

Holy shit I'm busy today so this'll be short.  I have pictures from this weekend but don't have time to post them right now.  Had a good weekend.   Watched the Seahawks kick the shit out of the Broncos on Friday night.  Or maybe it was the opposite of that.  Had a really fun time Friday night, but I'm not even going to discuss that one at all, not website-friendly.

Got a surprise call from Funks on Sunday that he was in town, so we went down to the Rio then went and played some foos at B52's, was really good to see him as I hadn't seen him in like 2 years.  We pretended that his boss was my dad and some girl even said we looked alike, dumb lying bitch.  We didn't look remotely close to alike - and even though we were lying (ours was in good fun) she proved the fact that all girls lie, thanks for keeping it up for me :o)

I started writing my life story this weekend too, I'm writing Section IV: The College Years first.  I've got about 27 pages written and I'm not even though freshman year yet.  I won't post this until it's finished and it'll probably be about 3 years before I'm done with it, it's quite the big project.

I'm tired, got up and lifted before work today.  I don't have time for this site right now, way too busy. Later.
