Happy Halloween!

I went to a party last night, stayed out late, got to bed around 4:30.   I was an hour late for work today.  I'm sitting at work in a bath robe, sweatpants, white t-shirt, and my bear-claw slippers.  I haven't showered and just brushed my teeth in the work bathroom.  My hair is messed up, I didn't shave, and I'm wearing glasses.  Today, I am "Just Woke Up and was Late To Work Guy" for my work Halloween costume.  But all of the above is true.  The drive to work sucked.  There was about a solid inch of ice on my windshield this morning, needless to say, since I woke up at 7:55, I didn't have tiem to scrape, so here's what my the view from inside my car looked like this morning    1   2    3.  Duane and I almost wrecked his car, as he slowed to turn down my street, we slid and did a complete 360 on the road and jumped up onto the curb, could have been nasty.  Luckily he was sober and got us off safe.  Rock on.

So yeah, I'm not feeling good today.  New pix will be on the new pix page shortly from the costume party last night, enjoy.  Other stuff will be up as well time permitting.

I'm helping Kelly move to Dillon this weekned and watching the Seahawks beat the shit out of the Steelers hopefully.  Man I don't want ot update this today.   Have a great weekend, be safe and happy halloween!

October 30, 2003

Sometimes I forget just how jacked up this state is.  Yesterday it was literally 80 degrees outside and there were fires in Boulder and Highlands Ranch that caused evacuations.  I drove home around 9 last night with my windows down.   THis morning I woke up and had about a third of an inch of ice on my windshield to scrape off, it's foggy, and sleeting.  So now instead of sunny and 80 degrees like yesterdya, it's cold, sleeting, and windy.  This blows.

Scott Weiland is an idiot.  How can this man be so blind to reality?   He's gotten busted for drugs countless times, been in and out of rehab for what seems like an eternity, and now he wrecks his BMW and runs from the cops, only to be caught up to and arrested for DUI.  What a jackass.  Doesn't he know what happened to Nirvana - Kurt Cobain (I still blame drugs & Courtney Love on his death), Alice In Chains - Layne Staley (Speedball - mix of heroin and cocaine), Sublime - Bradley Nowell (heroin), and countless others?!  We don't need the era of the Stone Temple Pilots to come to an end any time in the near future, so please, Scott, get your life on track!  Fuck!

So I'm no longer going to be Roy for halloween (no, not Patrick Roy, Roy Horn).  I'm going with a costume I used senior year in college, I'm not feeling to original this year.

I'm never eating at Burger King again, they've fucked up for the last time.  I was STARVING last night so I drove to BK around 9ish and ordered a chicken sandwich - NO MAYO.  Of course, I think I got double the standard amount of mayo.   I was fucking pissed.  I honestly think they forget the "no mayo" rougly 150% of the time (meaning, they never remember and 50% of the time they give me double mayo).  Bastards.   And not to rip off Maddox - but seriously - these damn "i'm lovin' it" McDonald's commercials are driving me insane.

Adam Foote no longer has to say "That's why I put subway in my diet at least 3 times a week."  Becuase now instead of that horrible commercial with him in a generic hockey jersey, we see him endorsing a diamond store in Cherry Creek?   "I come to blahblahblah Diamonds for all my diamond needs."    honestly Adam - how many diamonds a year do you buy?

I'm going to a Halloween party tonight, probably freeze my ass off and drink too much, but hey, I haven't done that for a long time so I deserve it!  Have a great day!

October 29, 2003

Patrick Roy's number was retired, so for a final time, let's hear the sound clip that just cries his name.  But after watching the retirement ceremony while eating last night, I got really confused.  Ray Bourque played here like 1 year - now I understand how important he was to the team - but was it really necessary to retire his number after just one year with the Avs?  Roy on the other hand was here 8 years, and is the best goalie of all time, how can you put him in the same class as a guy who played here one year?  I get the centimental value and all that, but still, confusion.  Anyways - congrats and best of luck to Patrick.

I didn't do a whole hell of a lot last night, but I got up this morning in a mad dash, woke up late, cooked a breakfast burrito and didnt' even have time to consume it all.  Made it to the gym and lifted back and shoulders.  It's burrito day today - woo hoo!  I sold my old Dish Network system on ebay for $88, so I have to ship that out today.  You'd be surprised how light a satellite dish, receiver, cable, and remote are - seriously, not very heavy.  7 or 8 pounds maybe?  So I need to go mail that out, sent away entirely too much money (but still WAY cheaper than I could get it in a store) for my 157" Burton Baron today.  Now I just need to find my bindings at a cheap price.  I want the 2004 Burton Missions - they're top of the line and also would match the color of my board perfectly - here's an example. But I won't pay over $150 for them.

So yup, that's my life today, pretty interesting and exciting as usual, huh?  Well, I put up Memories part IV on the Stories page yesterday, enjoy.  I just re-read it, my life is pathetic if these are the best memories I can come up with!

Other than that, we'll just do a new picture of the day.  I'll lay off Wil$on for awhile because of his recent run in with the law.  Have a nice day.

The stages of life...oh the stages of life...

Rod Roddy, R.I.P.  I can't tell you how many thousands of times I've heard this man say "COME ON DOWN!!" in my life.  I bet any one of you can imagine his voice in your head right now.

But with death, along comes revival.  Napster has been reborn today!!!  sure, you have to pay now, but you get 5 free downloads when you sign up.  Man I miss napster.  I knew they were going to ban it when it came out, so I actually videotaped me downloading like 70 songs at once a few years ago, maybe I'll upload that video and post it.  It'll be the least exciting thing you've ever seen.  But damn I miss napster, it was my best friend for a couple of years.

Another stage of life is retirement.  Patrick Roy's number will be retired by the Avalanche tonight.   The greatest goalie of all time.  He will be tributed on fleetmack.com with a special MP3 of the day.

That's all for today...I'll leave you with that.

October 27, 2003

The Seahawks lost to the Bengals yesterday, we turned the ball over 4 times.  It was pretty pathetic but life goes on, we're still 5-2 and have a better record than the Broncos.  Worse things have happened, we'll just look forward to next week vs. Pittsburgh.  Go Seahawks!  The Marlins won the world series, Juan Pierre is a beast, nice work guys.  And, get this, I actually won in fantasy football!  Even though my Seahawks lost, Matt Hasselbeck and Itula Mili came through for me in the clutch.  I still have Orlando Mare and Chris Chambers playing tonight, look for the Dickflip VanDelay's to be on a comeback!

So here's my weekend in a Nutshell.  I was a geek.  That's my weekend.  Friday I stayed home and went to bed at 10:30.  Saturday I went downtown with Scandrett to watch ISU get smoked by Nebraska, Saturday night I watched the Marlins win the World Series then read, talked on the phone (yup!) and went to bed.   Yesterady, hell, let's do this in picture format.  Woke up, set the living room up,     watched the Seahawks lose,   read the rest of my book,     watched the Avalanche lose,    went to bed.  But I did finally clean my car! (only on the inside).  She'll get washed this week to prepare for the snow we may get later this week.

I think I'm going to a halloween party on Thursday night, other than that, this week is wide open.  Yup.  I'm boring again today and have some stuff to get done.  Adios.

October 24, 2003

We have cable! Finally!  Er, dish, whatever you want to call it.   Either way - I'm happy again.  Got to watch the Av's last night, got to watch Forsberg get a hat trick.  Got to watch the Marlins beat the Spankees.  Sunday I get to watch 3 or 4 NFL games from home at the same time with our NFL ticket, I've got every movie channel you can imagine - like 8 HBO's, 5 Showtimes, 3 Cinemax's (Watched Star Wars II on that last night), a few Starz', a few Encores...man this is going to turn me into a couch potato.

Forsberg rules, Adam Foote rules -- but even though Foote got 9 penalty minutes, a goal, and an assist, I slipped to fourth place in fantasy hockey.  Ah well.

My SeaChickens play the Bungles this weekened.  I'm actually a bit worried about the game, the Bengals are pretty tough, I'm way worried about this game, actually.  But if we win, giddy up, the 6-1 Seahawks are again on a 3 game winning streak.  Have I mentioned that we've won 8 of our last 9 games?  Not to shabby, not too shabby.  I don't think anyone else has a better 9 game streak than us right now.  that's right, we're the best in the NFL, rock on.

I think I'm going to chill all weekened and save some money and FINALLY enjoy my tv I spent way too much money on.  So tonight I think I'll hit the bank, hit the gym again (went this morning), and watch a few movies or something.  It's cool geeking out for a weekend once in awhile.  I'm pissed, got a message from the Seahawks last night (imagine this - I didn't answer my phone so they left a message, who knew?) that they only have HOME Ken Hamlin jerseys, and I ordered an AWAY jersey, so I guess I'm stuck with my Shaun Alexander jersey for awhile longer.  Oh well, if they have Trufant away jerseys maybe I'll order one of those instead. Who knows.

REMEMBER THE FLEETCONTEST!! best halloween costume with a fleetmack.com sign on it wins a tooth kit.   Mentos to rot your teeth, a hockey puck to knock out your teeth, and a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss to keep your new dentures clean.  Dentures not included.  Multiple entries allowed -- and you can send a picture with 10 people in it, if one person's costume wins, you can all divy up the prizes.  Fleetmack.com sign must be present in the picture.

New picture of the day, new Wilson picture, new MP3 (in a few hours) -- they're all up, not to mention the new Wil$on story from earlier this week.  Also will have Memories IV posted this afternoon or Monday morning, not sure yet.  You know where to find 'em.   Sign my guestbook and read up and post up in the forums.  Have a great and safe weekend.

October 23, 2003

Went and saw Kill Bill last night.  Very very very bloody, a lot of violence, cool story, fantastic cinematography, awesome fight scenes, I give it two very solid thumbs all the way up.  Given that I don't go to many movies at all in the theatre, but I'll say it was the best movie I've seen in a theatre since like, uhm, Happy Gilmore maybe?  I dunno, great movie though, fantastic.  A little unbelievable at times in the big fight scene at the end with people floating up the stairs and all, but that's what martial arts movies do.  I can't wait for Volume 2 to come out, it'll rule.  Very very cool movie, I  highly recommend you watch it.

Go Marlins!  Didn't watch it last night, it's cool becuase I can watch the first at bat of the inning and see Juan Pierre hit, then I can turn it, don't have to wait aroudn to watch him bat.  Since I don't give a shit about either team, I could care less about watching those games...but go Juan Pierre!

By the way, Bryan = No Cavities at the dentist the other day, I rule.

I was supposed to get up and go to the gym this morning, about that - a little advice for you.  If you set the time on your alarm to wake you up, it really doesn't matter if you forget to flip the switch to "alarm" instead of "off".  Luckily I woke up at about 7:10 this mornign and was only about 2 minutes late for work.

Kris put up a new Wil$on story (with a picture!) yesterday, check it!  There's also 190 pictures in the Wil$on archive now, so if you haven't been checking the Wil$on quasi-daily picture of the day, be sure to go to the archive and catch up.

I need to clean my car tonight, she's getting pissed at me bad, she's filthy.  I'm about to change her name to Joan Rivers becuase she's such a flithy disgusting skank as of late.  Such a dirty car isn't deserving of the name Laetitia.   It's narrowed down to Joan Rivers or Christina Aguilera. Yup, filthy.

So we're in the 70's already at 8:00...hopefully this shit will stop soon so we can get some white stuff in the mountains, need to get that board strapped on my feet badly.  I'll put up a new pic today, but the MP3 will stay for awhile, I'm in Deftones revival mode right now, hadn't listened to them for a couple weeks.    That's all, happy Slursday.

October 22, 2003

The Stone Sour 2 disc CD/DVD package came out yesterday, go get it if you don't have it already.  It is the original CD, plus 5 new songs, plus a DVD with the Get Inside, Bother, and Inhale videos on it.  Go buy it!  I must admit to you, even I slacked and didn't buy it on the day of release, but I'll go get it today.

Finally unpacked last night! My apartment is finally clean!  I turned down playing slow pitch to do it though so that was a tremendous opportunity cost ot myself, but as a result, you finally get pictures of my new apartment!  The pictures turned out kind of shitty and I didn't take any of the second bedroom, second bathroom, or balcony, but you can get a feel for where I live now if you want.  And yes, I still have my giant Pink Floyd posters hanging up in my bedroom, gotta have 'em! :)

My ears are still ringing, I think those guns permanently fucked up my hearing, honestly.  This sucks horribly.  I really hope this goes away.

The weather still rules here. Looks like we get 80's again today and tomorrow, then the cold front moves in on Friday.  I can't decide what to do this weekend, a bunch of guys are going up to Greeley for Friday night then on Saturday getting up to tailgate for the UNC game, but I really want to go up to A-Basin and ride my old board a few times, haven't had the snowboard strapped on since June 2 -- that's 4 1/2 months with no snowboarding - man I'm pumped to get up there!  Got the pass renewed for $319 this year for 5 mountains - same old - Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and A-Basin.  I've never done Beaver Creek before, maybe I'll give it a whirl sometime this year.

A new kickass MP3 is up today, complete with sound clip and lyrics, enjoy.  New picture of the day as well.

I just realized that I neither care nor know who won the World Series game last night, I watched Juan Pierre go 2-3 and that was enough to satisfy my baseball needs, so I went to bed when the Yanks were up 2-1, I hope they lost.  I'll go look at the score now.  Damn, 6-1, that sucks.  The Av's lost again too, I don't know what's up with this 2-3 record but we need to start winning.

Getting DirectTV FINALLY hooked up on Thursday morning (knock on wood).

Boom shake shake shake the room - NEW WIL$ON STORY IS UP!! Yup, that's right - a new Wil$on story is up - check it out.  Nice work Kris!  On a side note - I'm almost done with Memories IV.

REMINDER!!! FLEETMACK COSTUME CONTEST!!!!  I'll post a page about later, until then, have a great day, and remember, Bud Light salutes YOU Mr. Furniture Assembly Manual Writer.  Because of your detailed descriptions and lackluster drawings, you allow me to sit on my carpet, assemble furniture, and go completely insane.

October 21, 2003

What up, how about the end of that Chiefs/Raiders game last night?! Wasn't that sweet?  Thought so.  Went to Old C's in Westy last night (as opposed to broomfield), had a few duffs, watched the game, that's about it.  Wendl ended up having to drive back to Carroll last night as the "That there Clark is an RV" broke down in Salida, so he had to drive a bunch of people home.  Hornick took off this morning, so now tonight I will finally unpack from moving -- 3 weeks later.  Fun times, eh?

So I built a hard drive for Wendl with only my MP3's on it so he can have a copy of all my music, so I finally have all my MP3's consolidated to one drive, and the grand total -- I have a whopping 642 CD's ripped, an additional 5000 MP3's downloaded, for a grand total of 52GB of MP3's (roughly 15,000 MP3's).  Isn't that ridiculous?   Take that RIAA - what you gonna do?  Come to my house and prevent me from copying my hard drive and giving it to people?  There's still easy ways to share files dipshits and you will never stop us with your threats of suing, cocksuckers.

I have a lot of work to do today so I'd better hop to it ASAP - nothing new up today, sorry, dont' have the time, don't know when I will.  My ears are ringing yet, think that .357 caused some long-term damage.  New pix are up as of yesterday.   Have a nice day.

Wow -- new old school picture of the day from my senior year of high school!  Thanks Tiff!

October 20, 2003

Please pray for a friend of mine who lost his mother this weekend, thanks.

Had a fantastic weekend.  Hornick came to town Friday and we hit the town with Ryan, Eyan, Duane, and Towns.  Introduced Hornick to the wonderful world of cooler burritos and the Giggling Grizzly - you know, standard stuff for my visitors.   I think every single time someone visits me, I take them to Old Chicago, the Giggling Grizzly, and buy them cooler burritos.  Standard stuff.

So Saturday we woke up bright and early and drove on down to Wendl's lodge about 30 miles southwest of Salida, VERY cool place.  We spent the day shooting guns, 4-wheeling, and drinking.  You have no idea how fun the combination of those things can be.  I was going through mountain withdrawl as I hadn't summitted anything for a few months, so it felt good to be on top of the world again, and it felt really cool having about 10 cases of beer and 30 guns in the house.  My ears are literally still ringing from pulling off 6 rounds on Mike's .357 Mag - I was an idiot and forgot to put in my ear plugs, I had just got done shooting his 9mm, which isn't that loud, so neglected to put in my plugs - damn my ears still hurt.

I felt like complete shit yesterday - get this - I felt so bad I didn't even watch the Seahawks game.  They did, however, win.  That places them at 5-1, the best start ever for the Seahawks.  Next week is the Bengals - and no joke, I'm actually a bit worried about the game!  Maybe now we can start getting some respect.   We beat the 49ers - who beat the Bucs.  We shut out the Cardinals - who beat the Packers.  And lastly, we beat the Rams, who smoked the Packers -- and the Packers almost beat the Chiefs!  Stop saying we have an easy schedule, we just make the wins happen.  Who cares if they're ugly or not - they still show up in the win column.   If we are still winning with the mistakes we're making - just think how amazing we'll be when we stop making those dumb mistakes! Rock on Seahawks.

New stuff is up, including pictures from the weekend, enjoy and have a nice week.

October 17, 2003

Please pray for a friend's mom who is taking a turn for the worse...details aren't important, prayers are simple to do and important.

Spankees suck.  Who cares about the world series?  That's what I thought.  I'm cheering for the Marlins becuase Juan Pierre is my favorite player.  The guy bats over .300, gets like 60 stolen bases a year, runs scored are off the hook, he's a small guy (same size as me - 6' 180).   He cracks me up too, during one of the NLCS games this year they were showing their name, where they're from, and their favorite hobby, his was listed as "Freestyle Rapping" -- man that cracked me up.  Also his name is funny, Juan D'Vaughn Pierre.  It rhymes! that's funny.  I don't know why the Rockies got rid of him, he rules.  But he's shitty to his wife, that's not cool at all.  But again, he's my favorite player - that has nothing to do with how he is in real life.

The stupidest human being on earth emailed me today.

Hornick gets here today, probably hit up Gov's and Giggz tonight, then head on out for Salida around 6 bells tomorrow morning, Saturday'll be sweet.  We need to cheer for the Packers this weekend -- the Rams are inching up on us and have the #1 passing offense in the NFL -- too bad the Seahawks already beat them.  We play the Bears this weekend.  Iowa State plays Texas this weekend - look for the Seahawks and Longhorns to take those two games fairly easily.  For all you Hawkeye fans - this is your week, the battle of the "eyes". Iowa (Hawkeyes) is playing Ohio State (Buckeyes) - my prediction is the winner will win the Big 10.  GO BUCKEYES!!!!

The Avs smoked the Wild last night - revenge.  Foote (Bob's favorite player) got me an assist for fantasy, but that's about it.  I jumped up to 3rd place in my fantasy league (out of 12) WITHOUT Dany Heatley or Martin Havlat (who I dropped the day before he decided to sign - dumbass).

I sorta got chewed out this morning by Riki - I had to set her straight instead of making excuses. her:  "Why haven't you called me back the last 7 times I've called you?"  Me:  "Becuase I never call people back."    her:  "That's shitty of you."   me:  "Yes, yes it is."  her: "It's not like you to not call me back."    me:  "Yes it is, that's why I sound rude on my messages so you dont' expect a call back."  her: "That's really shitty of you."   click.  Fuckin' 'a Riki, don't take it personal - that's just why I don't call people back; I hate being talked to that way, it can be avoided by not answering the phone or not calling people back -- my message lets you know not to expect a call back.  Me dodging confrontation?  Possibly.  Me caring that this upsets anyone?   Never.  When I'm out of work, that's my time, and it's not going to be spent on the fucking phone when baseball playoffs are on, or hockey playoffs, or football games, or the simpsons, or i'm at the gym or running, or snowboarding -- there's much better things to do with my time than talk on the phone.  What is this facination with people assuming they can get ahold of you whenever and wherever just because I have a cell phone?  5 years ago this wasn't the case, you didn't expect to be able to talk to me at any hour of the day wherever I may be -- so why do you want this now?  Assume I will only talk to you at the time I'm sitting at home -- when I would normally have a HOUSE PHONE (which I don't) -- and that's about 1 hour every 3 days other than sleep time.   I'm a geek.  I go to bed at 9:30 - 10:00, I wake up at either 5:15 or 7:00 - depending if I go to the gym on that day.  I get home from work at around 6:30 or 7:00 (if I go to the gym again after work - which is about 75% of the time).  I get home at 7 -- after being away from home and being busy for 12 hours, I eat.  I don't want to talk on the phone while I'm cooking or eating.  Then I either watch TV for an hour or so or read for an hour or so -- go to bed...or...go to the bar.  If I'm at the bar or in bed - I don't want to be on the phone.  If I'm watching TV or reading for that 1 hour span I get each day - I don't want to spend it on the fucking phone - that's my relax time.  Unless I really want to talk to you - you know who you are :o)     So there - end of fucking story - that's why I hate the phone.   Here's my ideal phone call.   20 seconds long - tell me what you want to do or what you need to know -- I answer with a "i'll be there" or a "yes i'll help you" or a "nope, can't right now".  point taken - off the phone.  No more talking about the phone.

Have a good weekend.

Just got an email from a guy - Brian Bjerke - FANTASTIC contest idea.   BEST HALLOWEEN COSTUME!!!  Send me a picture of you in your halloween costume.   This has to be YOU!!! MEaning - I need proof that you didn't just find a random picture on the internet.  Your proof?  Have "www.fleetmack.com" on a sign in your picture - again, not photoshopped or edited into it - an actual SIGN - like on Renze and Buck's Corey Taylor picture.  The winner gets a prize courtesy of Matthew Binns - it's an entire kit for a lifetime of tooth decay.  You get 2 packs of Mentos to rot your teeth, a hockey puck to knock your teeth out with, and a tootbrush and toothpaste to keep your new false teeth clean with.  Thanks for the idea, Brian!

October 16, 2003

So we made a decision last night, if the Cubs won, we were going to go to Chicago next week.  Needless to say, I am no longer going to Chicago.  Juan Pierre is still a beast.  We're cheering for the Red Sox tonight, but want the Marlins to take the series.

So I was watching the news last night - this rocks.  A-Basin is slated to open on October 24th.  Snowboarding is literally just around the corner! I may have to head up there next weekend to check it out -- maybe just make a run or four, but I'm dying to get up there!

DirectTV FINALLY gets hooked up Saturday when I'm in Salida.   Hornick, Andy and I will likely be watching 4 games at once in my living room with the NFL package. Figured out last night we can do 3 tv's in the living room and do a split-screen on my big-screen to watch 2 games at once -- so we basically get to watch all the games, it'll be just like the bar, only cheap.  WOO HOO!  Salida is going to rule on Saturday, we should get there around 9 in the a.m. -- plan on doing some hiking, 4-wheeling, drinking, and gun-shooting.  Hornick's bringing his SKS and Wendl has about 6 guns and an AK-47 down there, so we should have a blast - literally - bwaaaaa hahahahha, ok, that wasn't that funny of a pun.  I'm sure several pictures shall be taken and posted, if legality ensues.

I need a contest idea -- anyone got one?  There hasn't been a contest on this site since like April or something.

I don't have much to say.  The Av's are in Minneapolis tonight against the Wild - watch us get revenge from last year.  I'lll probably watch that and the BoSox/Spankees game at the same time, yup, sure will.

MP3 of the day is a song about relationships complete with lyrics and everything, picture of the day is of something random, that's about it.  have a nice day.

October 15, 2003

Morning ta all you fine folks here on Payday.  I checked my mailbox last night around 11pm and low and behold - 2 electric bills, 1 water bill, 1 best buy bill (tv), 1 car insurance bill, 1 dish network bill, and one injury-waiver for my ski pass that i have to sign so they can send me a bill.  Way to make me feel rich on payday you bastards.

First off - MUCHO thanks to Ms. Sarah Jameson for my kickass new logo on the forums - even if you don't use the forums - click that link and check it out, it's sweet.  Then you can email Sarah and tell her how cool of a job she did (o; I don't know if anyone ever does that when I request for you to email strangers, but feel free to flood her inbox ;o) I will put up a banner for her on my links page if she want's but until then - I'll feature her on my main page and if any of you are interested in having someone help you design a website or anything - contact her - here's her design page.

This seems to work - sign my guestbook if you haven't already. - (it also has a new logo, courtesy of 00k)

I played slow pitch last night, I hadn't put a glove on since freshman year of college.  I was a little nervous to be honest just becuase I didn't want to look like a dufus who didn't know what he was doing, but I forgot something - I'm actually halfway decent at that sport.  I went 2-3 (my 1 "out" was a fielder's choice on which I really reached base) with a single (2 singles if you count the fielder's choice) and a double that hit the back fence (thin air in Denver is my best guess on that one!), 3 RBI's and 1 run scored.  But low and behold, we lost 26-18 in a whopping 3 innings.  Yes, it was a high-scoring affair.  Hopefully I'll get to play again, I was just filling in.  I could have done better fielding but didn't make any errors, I was just playing conservatively as to not fuck up.

Given the fact that I was all the way down in Littleton I think, but it took me upwards of 2 friggin hours to drive home.  We went to the bar to watch the end of the Cubs game (*cough cough* CHOKE *cough cough*) then I drove home.  Yup, I25's normal 6 lanes was cut down to 1 lane for line painting, I was getting pissed.   New rule -- if there's a sign that says "Left Lane Closed 1000 Feet" and traffic is at a bumper-to-bumper stand-still....if you're one of the jackasses that swerves into the left lane to pass 100 cars in that 1000 feet as that lane is empty (as it's coming to an end) then you try to merge (budge) in front of everyone at the last second - you will recieve your ass on a platter from me and it almost happened last night.   I was sick of people doing this, so I manuevered Laetitia 1/2 way into the left lane to block all traffic that was trying to budge in the stand-still line - one guy yelled at me so I got out of my car and started walking up to his car (traffic was at a stand still for like 20 minutes)...but the pussy rolled his tinted window up so he didn't have to face me, so I just flipped him off with my finger one inch from his wondow.   it ruled.  But that put an end to all the jackasses.  Took me 2 hours to drive 15-20 miles.  But yes, that was the first time I've gotten that mad at a total stranger probably ever....hopefully that won't happen again, I was pretty out of line.

I've gotten 6 people's money so far -- I need 2 more in the next 5 days - PLEASE GET ON THIS!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, what else.  Guess I'll watch the Chokes try to win tonight.   By the way  - I'm cheering for the Cubs, but I"m also cheering for Juan Pierre as he's my favorite player.  So basically - I want the Cubs to win, but in the effort, we want Juan Pierre to go 4-4 with 4 stolen bases.  That'd rule.

Picture of the day will be baseball related as I'm in a baseball mood after playing softball last night.   MP3 of the day will be a RATM song.....  Wilson picture is up on the Wilson page.  "Isn't it about time for a new Wilson story" people ask me - my reply - taht page is in your hands, I give you a picture each day, the stories are up to you.  This web page isn't all my work - you have to help me keep it fresh - that way you get the blame if I don't put new shit up.  Yup.  Have a good Wednesday.

October 14, 2003

That comic is about me and my never-ending and forever-put-off quest to run a marathon.  I don't understand it, I've run upwards of 20 miles in one run (over a year ago) before but I just can't get the motivation to run the extra 6.

Question of the day that I honestly can't believe I don't know the answer to but would LOVE if someone knew (and don't cheat and look it up, because I won't do it either.)  What is Soulfly's relationship to Sepultura?  I'm listening to Sepultura's Ratamahatta right now and it sure as hell sounds like Soulfly singing on here, and I know I've heard in the past as a rumor that he was in the group, but I just don't know - someone answer me!  And no, I didn't lie - I am listening to Sepultura right now as opposed to House of Pain.  I have the X-Games Volume 1 disc (actually ripped as mp3's on winamp) playing on shuffle mode right now.

Anyways, watched the BoSox beat up on the Spankees last night.  I was thinking the 9th inning might bring some pain back to the stadium.  Hit batter, chanting for Nelson, first pitch WAY inside, then 3 thrown balls to first base to try to catch a runner, but then Normar Garciasucka grounded into a DP.  I was hoping for a fight.  I really don't care for either team, but I hate the Spankees more than I hate the Sox, so we're cheering for the Sox. GO ROYALS!!!

Found out how to work the split-screen on my TV, it's sweet.  Since my TV is wide-screen I can split it in half and it looks just like 2 20" tv's - so we watched the baseball game and Monday Night football at the same time. Giddy-Up.  Here's a picture of my sweet ass TV again just becuase I need to spice up today's news with a picture. That reminds me, I haven't put up pix of the new apartment yet, have I?  Perhaps I'll get around to that this weekend.

Hornick is coming up this weekend and we're going down to Salida to stay at Wendl's lodge.  We're going to do some hiking and 4-wheeling in some suped-up jeeps, should be pretty sweet.  Hopefully we won't end up like this Tacoma we saw right at tree-line when hiking over by Fairplay.  And just to educate the ignorant, the tree-line is the elevation at which trees can no longer grow.   I don't know (becuase I also am ignorant) if it's the same all around the world, but in Colorado it's somewhere around 11, 250 feet I think - so just over 2 miles above sea level.  And to give you an example, if you're in Iowa (which about 30% of my readers are - complete guess) - your elevation is about 400 feet.  Yup, rambling is fun.  Here's my car (Laetitia) at 14,347 feet - the highest paved road in the United States - my car has been on top of the country - WOO HOO!!!!

I got up and did the whole cook breakfast/lift weights thing this morning and holy shit are my arms sore.  Burrito day has been promoted to Tuesday today, so lunch shall be delicious.  Bob's favorite - chipotle. Yummy.  I'm just realizing something, I talk about the same fucking thing here every day, let's talk about something random.

Snowboards....wait no.   Seahawks...uhm, no.  Hmmmmm, Slipknot.....no.   Running?  Nope, talk about that a lot too.  Hmmmm, hockey? The Avalanche?  Nope, I talk about them all the time too.  Wilson?   Well - although that's usually more interesting than anything I have to say...nope.    Man, I have NOTHING to talk about.  You come here every day to read about the same damn thing.  I haven't talked about women being liars in awhile, well, maybe I don't really feel that way anymore.  Hmmm, what the hell can I talk about that's new.........

I'm taking Patanol perscription eyedrops right now.  Wait, that's not very interesting either.  What can I write about that might be somewhat interesting to you all.  Marilyn Manson is in town tonight, I want to go but it's sold out - I kinda figured you'd be able to buy tickets at the door so I didn't get any in advance.   Oh well.  Fleetwood Mac was in town Saturday, but tickets were like $140/ea so I didn't go.  I have to clean out an office for some new lady at work today becuase somebody put boxes upon boxes of files in there (not you Julie) and for some reason I'm the office's bitch when it comes to doing manual labor and doing anything that involves anything remotely close to work other than sitting at a desk.  Ok, enough bitching for today.  I need to get to work.  I'm bitter today. No new stuff up, don't feel like updating.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CRYSTAL MILLS!!! aka - CRYSTALLION STALLION - THE BIG 2-5 TODAY, EH?

Had a good weekend, Friday went to Old C's in Wheatridge for Heidi's b-day, Saturday chilled at home all day waiting.....waiting....waiting.....for what?   We'll get to that tomorrow with a rant about DirectTV.  Bastards.   They're on my list of people to destroy along with Vanguard Airlines (mission completed), my apartment complex (mission completed and situation fixed) -- now, DirectTV shall feel the wrath of fleetmack.com.  They WILL make financial amends to me for this bullshit.

Sunday -- oh Sunday.  I know what heart attacks feel like now, wow, I feel like Bob Swartzkie (email me if you actually get that joke).   Seahawks - whoa - close one.  A win's a win but this one wasn't pretty.   We did NOTHING wrong in the first half, but thanks to a missed extra-point and us getting our confidence back with 5 minutes left, we emerged victorious.  Ken Hamlin (as seen in the above picture) recovers a fumble with under a minute left.  Rookie of the year is STILL written all over this guy, even though he got 2 penalties for personal fouls.   Here's how we look:

Team W L T PCT PF PA Home Road AFC NFC DIV Streak
Seattle 4 1 0 .800 122 87 3-0 1-1 0-0 4-1 3-0 Won 1

Sittin' pretty atop the NFC West.  2 tough games coming up in the next two weeks with matches against the might Bears and the mighty Bengals (note - heavy sarcasm).

Random - I've been getting a TON of calls lately from phone numbers I don't recognize.   Please understand that I NEVER answer the phone if I don't recognize a number, I check my voice mail about once a week, if you haven't captured my attention in the first 2 seconds of the voice mail, I hit "7" and delete your message immediately, even if I do recognize your number I answer the phone about 1/3 of the time.  I know I've stressed this before - but please don't call me unless you have an immediate necessary need (unless you know I want to talk to you!!...which is actually the case for some people!...few people, but yes, I do enjoy talking on the phone to some people at any time of day) .  And if you have been one of the upwards of 10 people who have called me in the past 2 weeks and I haven't recognized your number AND you haven't left me a message - you have 2 options to talk to me.  1) Email  2) come over to my place.  QUIT CALLING ME 20 TIME FROM THE SAME NUMBER!!!! I'M NOT GOING TO ANSWER OUT OF CURIOUSITY!!! QUIT FUCKING CALLING ME YOU RANDOM 404 AREA CODE, 852 AREA CODE, 303 AREA CODE (DENVER), 720 AREA CODE (DENVER)!!

I want to go see Kill Bill this week sometime, that flick looks like cool shit.  I feel like someone beat me with a battle axe today - aka - I think I'm sick. I may go home early today, yeah, not feeling so good, bummer.

And lastly - let's talk about this whole Pedro/Zimmer thing so you can see what side I'm on.  I'm on Pedro's side.  Fuck Don Zimmer man, and I'm not saying this becuase of my hatred for the Yankees.  What was Pedro supposed to do?  All ages aside - bottom line is, he was just standing there and a guy was sprinting at him ready to hit him, what did he do?  He did the least he could do and took him and threw him away from him so he would't injure or try to hit him.  Self defense.   Since when is it not ok to defend yourself when being attacked?  This is bullshit that they're fining Pedro Martinez for this, it was not his fault.  Why on earth would you hit a batter to load the bases with no outs to face Alfonso Soriano?!  That just makes no sense, and if he did hit Karim intentionally - the yankees should have been happy!  He gave you the bases loaded with no outs for the best hitter (in my opinion) in the game!

And on that note, as Jimmy would say, Here I Exit.

October 10, 2003

I think it's very cool that they played Amazing Grace on the bagpipes last night before the Thrashers game in honor of Dan Snyder, that was pretty cool.

FRIDAY!! WOO HOO!!! Gotta love it!  THE AVALANCHE SEASON STARTS TODAY!! WOO HOO!!! I get my DirectTV hooked up tomorrow - WOO HOO!!! Today is a great day, MP3 of the day will be something to celebrate Hockey season officially starting - again - WOO HOO!!!

I went to Riki's place last night to chill out with her, had a whopping three beers and told stories about the first times we got drunk when we were really young, it was actually a really cool time.   Got to bed around midnight last night and up and at 'em at 5:30 this morning, I was feeling REALLY damn tired so I only did light bench and ran 2 quick miles, ran to the post office and here I am at work.

But here's the kicker...after I showered at the gym I go to my locker and open the gym bag - yup, no work shirt.  I had a Slipknot T-Shirt and that was it, not really suitable for work!  So I dig through Laetitia to see what I can find as she's filthy right now - we're talking Courtney Love filthy - dirty both inside and out.   Sure enough, I find my Avalanche Jersey and a normal white dress shirt in my trunk.   The dress shirt has stains all over it for being in my trunk for 6 months and is also highly wrinkled.  My opted to put it on anyways and wear my Avs jersey over it.   So here I sit at work wearing a hockey jersey with a collar under it.  WOO HOO!! Maybe I'll post a picture of myself if I get bored later.

Great mood today - this is going to be a great weekend.  So I do my normal routine at work this morning, get here, check if the database is up and do a few other quick checks to ensure everything's working, check my email, work first then personal, read through the forums really quick, then before I get down to business - I always check out Jimmy's site.  WOO HOO!!! I'm featured on the main page of his site today! Who knows how long it'll be up, Jimmy rocks.  Go check out his site - I know 99% of you go to it every day already, but either way - it's www.JoblessJimmy.com.  Enjoy!

Going to Old C's tonight, probably hanging low on Saturday as I have to get up very early on Sunday, running in the Race for the Cure on Sunday, then unpacking and watching football all day.  GO SEAHAWKS!! It's time to get revenge on that fuckhead Terrell Owens for signing the ball against us last year -- Normally I wouldn't worry, until I checked out the Seahawks' injury report:

Shaun Alexander RB L Ankle P
Ken Hamlin S L Foot Q
Marcus Trufant CB R Knee Q

Shoot - we NEED Hamlin and Trufant, I'm buying a Hamlin jersey next week -- I called the Seahawks pro-shop last night and they're going to call me when they arrive.   Giddy up, I can finally get a new style jersey!  My old Shaun Alexander jersey still rocks, and I have a ton of respect for that guy so I'll probably still wear that thing everywhere - but for now - time to get to work in my Av's jersey.  The Blackhawks are going down tonight!  Have a great weekend!

October 09, 2003

I'm mad at the post office right now, one of you knows why.  It's going to cause me to go postal and I don't even work there.  Who knew?   Seriously though, when are they going to invent teleporting?!  Screw Bill Gates for trying to make some software to help detect those with child pornography on their computers.  Get on something important like teleporting!  Do you know how awesome that would be?  I could go riding in the Swiss Alps on any random day due to the time change.  I could get home from work, go to bed until Midnight, wake up at Midnight, teleport to Geneva, ride my snowboard in the Alps for 5 hours, teleport home, catch a quick hour or two nap, and get back to work.  Then I could go meet my fiance in New Zealand for lunch, teleport back to work, then I can teleport to Israel after work to pick up an engagement ring (diamonds are much cheaper over there where they're mined), and be back on my couch in Westminster in time for the 6:00 showing of the Simpsons.   Man, how did I get on this topic just from being pissed off at the post office?

Random 00k link today because I'm exchanging emails with her right now -- if you want a website or need help designing one, let her know!

I watched baseball last night with Josh and Ryan.  Tonight I'm going to the gym then going to hang with Riki, tomorrow I'm going to Old Chicago in Wheatridge to celebrate Heidi's birthday, Saturday I get my DirectTV hooked up and am going to finish unpacking, Sunday I'm going to run in the Race for the Cure downtown and then watch football all day at my place, woo hoo!!! Seahawks are nationally televised this week against the 49ers -- night game on ESPN, look for us to blow them out of the water!

I need stamps, I've got like 8 things sitting here that I need to mail, but as paragraph one says, I'm pissed off at the post office so don't want to give them money to mail my stuff.  Damn them Scuba Steves!

I want to find a cartoon that Ryan and Josh were talking about last night.  It was in the Rocky Mountain News yesterday -- apparently it was mockign the fact that the Avs will be the highest scoring team in the NHL this year, but our goalies suck.  I think it said something like "Another nailbiter at the Pepsi Center tonight as the Avs won 103-102".  I want to see this comic, actually, I want to print it out and tape it below my dilbert comic on my monitor.  You know you're a geek when you actually have a Dilbert comic taped to your monitor! hehehe.

I'm quite boring today and need to get to work -- pic is up but the mp3 is the same, so is the wilson picture.  Adios.

October 08, 2003

Check it - I did some stuff tofix Heidi's mother-in-law's computer the other day, this is an exerpt of the email she sent Heidi, it makes me feel high on myself:

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM BACK!!!!! WOW what a feeling! It has been way to long. PLEASE----RIGHT NOW GO GIVE BRIAN THE BIGGEST HUG & KISS THAT YOU HAVE!!! Tell him I am forever greatfull!!

WOO HOO!! BURRITO DAY!!!!!  Burrito day is just as good as payday. Hey Bob - fuck you, Chipotle rules.

Do you realize this is the second person from the movie Predator that has gotten a state governor position?  I'm going to propose that Carl Weathers run for governor of Colorado.  That would rule.  He could kick Jesse The Body and Arnold's ass anyways.  So could Mack, but just becuase he has a cool name, and I don't know his name in real life or he'd have my vote.

Dany Heatley was officially charged with first degree vehicular homicide, this is a sentence of 3 to 15 years.  Hopefully he'll plea down to a second degree charge, but still, with a torn ACL and MCL, my first round pick for fantasy hocky has ruined my year.  I can live with it, it's just unfortunate for the Snyder family and Mr. Heatley himself.  I can't imagine what his conscience must feel like right now, horrible.  So let's go to a happy time - the FleetNews from February 3, 2003

Wow, I ask you to sign the guestbook and look at the response!  Wow!  I need to start asking (reminding) you of that damn thing more often.  Picture of the day is a tribute to some of those cool enough to sign the guestbook - you know how to find the picture of the day, I ain't posting a link.

Wilson picture today is a surprise -- you can go look at it, but this is your punishment for not being involved in the forums.  If you don't know what the hell is funny about this   picture, that means you suck for not reading and posting-to the fleetforums.  That reminds me, I haven't put up any new feedbacks or hatemails for awhile, perhaps if I get time I will do that today.

So last night I SHATTERED my all time max-out bench press, I'm VERY close to my all-time goal and I'm only 24 -- things are looking good.  I actually set this goal for me for the end of August but with my thumb-ligament problem I suffered in June -- that took me out of commission for 2  months, so it rocks to see that I'm back on track.   I'm not going to say how much it was as I really don't think I'm that strong at all and don't want to sound cocky but man, I had no clue I could lift that much.  I'm really proud of me right now.

I got the best night's sleep last night out of anyone on the planet.  Imagine that, out of 6 billion people, I was lucky enough to get the best night's sleep!  For the first time in the new apartment, made the classic breakfast of 2 jumbo eggs, hasbrowns with A1 steak sauce, and bacon - along with a cup of green tea and a glass of O.J. (not Simpson).  Tomorrow I'm going to try making a skillet, never tried that before, giddy up.  I went grocery shopping last night, I'm such a pussy, I friggin' love grocery shopping.  New paragraph now.

I'll put up a MP3 today that nobody will want to download, so don't bother looking at it unless you're really curious.   Klaver - hopefully this'll crack you up, probably only you and Thelen and Buzz remember how funny this was.....

Wow, I started typing the news at 7:50 this morning and with distractions and stops to actually do work and stuff, it's now 8:53, this is taking too long.  I'm going to stop now, have a great burrito day!

October 07, 2003

I knocked my front tooth out to this song when I was 17.  Thanks Renze and Rich.  In case you've ever noticed in pictures of me, one of my 2 big front teeth is about 1/2 black on the top of it -- this is becuase it was knocked out to this song (see above) in a mosh pit the night before Easter.  It was fully black, but I got it bleached and had a root canal done to hold it in.  I think it looks sweet.  Check it out in any picture you can find that I'm actually smiling in. That picture was taken when I was 20 (4 years ago), it's since gotten much blacker.  Holy shit, was Jessica 4 years ago already?!  Whoa!  I'm old.

My car is VERY pissed at me right now.  I let her run out of gas this morning.  I was up at about 6, sitting in my car to go to the gym, and she wouldn't start.  Had to call AAA to come give me a free gallon of gas.  I felt so bad, it's the first time in my 9 years of driving that I have run out of gas - sorta.   Damn I'm old.

I got a flu shot about 10 minutes ago, now I won't get sick all year or I'm suing the inventor of flu shots. I just ate a banana-nut muffin, it was good.  I think it was from Einsteins or something - every time we have a staff meeting at work, we get food.  Yup.  I swear to you, I sincerely apologize for the past 3 months of fleetmack.com, I've been insanely boring as of late.  I'll try to improve.

Tiffany (Seahawks fan!) informed me last night that Iowa is being overrun by ladybugs, I think this is hysterical.  I'm picturing "Attack of the Killer B's" (anthrax) only with ladybugs.  How horrible :o)  Anyways - all you Iowa dwellers have me in your thoughts, don't let the ladybugs overtake your lives!

Did I just type that paragraph?!

If anyone knows how to get a Dish Network dish to pull in a signal -- YOU GET A FREE CASE OF BEER MY TREAT IF YOU CAN FIX MINE!!!!

I have a lot to do, goodbye. Sign my guestbook, make me feel cool.   A plethora of Iowans have been signing it lately - how about some of you folks who read this every day but haven't signed it yet whom I've never met sign it for once?  Sheesh.

October 06, 2003

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYKSTRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's just not talk about football at all today, ok?

This weekend went quite unexpectedly, just chilled at home, finished moving, finished cleaning my old apartment, ordered pizza, and watched Memento on Friday night.

Bob's right - I'm like the dude on that T-Mobile (or whatever cell phone commercial that is) commercial, the guy who is traveling across the country calling people to sleep on his couch.  Actually, I'm the guy on the other end of the phone getting calls from people who are randomly in town.  I love when I get visitors with 1 days notice, seems like I've had about 10 of them in the past 3 or 4 months.  This weekned's victim - Mike Wendl.  So Wendl rolled into town around 5ish on Saturday night, he's chillin' for a month down at his parents' cabin in Salida so stayed in Denver for the night.  We went to the usuals - Giggling Grizzly etc., had some delicious cooler burritos and the like -- good times!  I'm going to go down to Salida and stay with him in a few weeks and do some 4-wheeling.  Money.

We were playing with his guns on Saturday afternoon and that finalized my decision - I'm getting a handgun and taking a course so I can carry a concealed weapon.   This is for several reasons, two of which I will mention.  When Ryan and I were hiking in August one day around 3 in the morning we saw a pair of eyes about 10 feet in front of us, no clue what the animal was but we had a 2 minute staring contest with it -- eyes just glowing in the dark.  If I ever run into a bear or mountain lion, I need something that'll knock it on it's ass and kill it.  Also -- if anyone EVER tries to break into my car again, I honest to God will not hesitate to shoot him in the face.   Actually, if someone tries to break into my car again, I'll "miss" his face and shoot him in the nuts and watch him wimper like a little bitch, then I'll call an ambulance and let him live the rest of his life with no dick.  If you don't have to balls or decency of a NORMAL man to go EARN money and BUY stuff instead of stealing it, you are no man and shouldn't lie to the world by having a penis any more.  I WILL shoot on command if I see you fucking with Laetitia.  Other than that - I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet! :o)   By the way - I want a lightweight .357 loaded with hollow points.

Do you think I'm psycho now?  Get over it, its for my safety and my car's safety.

By the way - hey random dipshit who signed my guestbook - as I've said before -- any porn links put anywhere and you get banned from the site.  Expect your IP address to be banned sometime this afternoon.  I deleted your entry.

I put up pictures from a random hike I took back in August - check them out.   Actually, these are pictures from the day we saw the animal in the above paragraph.

My sleep patterns are all sorts of messed up.  I went to bed at about 6pm last night, but then got up at 11:00pm until about 4:30am, then I went back to bed for 2 hours.  So yeah, my sleep patterns are all sorts of funked up right now.  I have a lot to do at work today so I'm going to cut this off.  Sorry for the psychotic posting today.

October 03, 2003

The guy in the center (Ken Hamlin) is your soon-to-be 2003-2004 NFL Rookie of the Year.  Here he prepares to beat the tar out of the Packers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHONDA!!!!!!!     HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY MS. 00K, SARAH JAMESON!!!!!!!

I bet Sarah has no clue I knew it was her birthday today, hehe.  I bet Josh is wondering why I'm wishing his sister who I've met like twice a happy birthday.   By the way, if I don't mention "Happy Birthday" to you on your birthday - I'm sorry in advance.  Every time I find out it's someone's birthday I just put it on my outlook calender, so when I turn on my computer it pops up.  I can remember anyone's birthday within about 10 days -- even if I haven't seen you for 8 years, I'll remember.  So basically, if I see you on the street I can say "Whoa!  Matt Boell!  Haven't seen you forever!  Your birthday is December 14th!"    I'll be wrong, but I'll be close.  However, the opposite isn't true.   I cannot look at a calender and say "Hmmm, Today is December 14th.  If I recall, that's Matt Boell's birthday."   I'm bad at it like that.   Point being:  I'm sorry if I forget your birthday.

Whew.   I actually blew a breath out my mouth in "whew" fashion as I typed "Whew".

I kept moving last night.  My apartment is a wreck right now - both my new and old apartment, but I don't care, it'll all get pretty this weekend.  My old roomy Kelly (second from the right) came over and helped me out last night, so we went to Ruby Tuesdays after that and had a delicious cheeseburger.  Got up around 6 bells this morn, went the the gym, lifted a little chest action today (bench, incline dumbells, and decline).    I was slacking so I'll have to go in over lunch today too, don't feel like working out after work - I really just want to get settled into my new apartment.

Big game this weekend, this one is for MAJOR bragging rights.  This girl I was dating last April or something, Brittny, is a HUGE Packers fan so I've been emailing her talking smack since about June about how the Seahawks are going to blow them out of the water on October 5th.  I can't afford for the Seahawks to lose this one or I'll be eating my words.  Oh well, not like I'll ever even see her again, but still - I RARELY talk smack about my teams, but this year's Seattle team is an exception, I've kind of been going overboard since mid-January about this 2003-2004 Seahawks season.  Ask Josh or Cruz or Towns or Bob -- they all got pretty sick of me bringing it up all the time all summer.

Weekend plans - as you know - are to go hiking someplace with hella Aspen trees.  Also, may watch the Iowa State/Oklahoma game, but that'll be over with 10 minutes left in the first period most likely.  Also need to help Andy move the rest of his stuff in, then Sunday = SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Man, I'm going thru withdrawl, after last week's bye week....I haven't seen them play for 2 friggin weeks!  Thank God we'll have a game every Sunday through December now - WOO HOO!!!!!!!

I'm in way too good of a mood today for being in the moving process.   Have a great and safe weekend, be good or be bad, but be safe.

I CAN'T WAIT TO GO SNOWBOARDING!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll dig out and scan some old snowboarding pictures this weekend and post them next week - again - WOO HOO!!!

Ok, I'm out. Sign my guestbook, nobody has for awhile.  I'll be in and out of the forums a lot today.

Wow, we kicked that move's ass last night.  Andy, Jacob, Josh and I had my TV, couches, dresser, bed, table, coffee tables, and a bunch of other shit into the new apartment by 7:30 last night.  I still have a ton of stuff in my old place, but none of it is heavy other than my old dorm fridge - kinda forgot to unplug that to defrost it so I have to let it sit an additional day.  So tonight should be filled with me moving stuff again, hopefully can get settled in by the end of Friday night so I can clear up the weekened.  Woo Hoo!~!  The apartment rules, forgot how nice it would be.   Our balcony is literally 3 times the size of my old one and blah blah blah -- I'll post pictures after we get settled in.  Do you realize this is the 5th place I've lived since I moved to Denver just over 2 years ago?!  Insane.  1) Tom Kitt's couch.   2) House in Broomfield with Tim Meiners, Katie Kriener, Kelly O'Byrne, and Gina Olberding.  3) House in Broomfield with way too many people, like 7 of us or something.  4) Apartment in Westminster alone  5) Apartment in Westminster with Andy.  I hate moving.  But I still haven't folded my laundry either.  I really need to do that one of these days.

So that was last night in a nutshell, only problemo - cannot get my dish to connect to the satellite for some reason.  I have all the coordinates right and have it facing the right way, but I'm pulling in no signal - kinda confused, whatever, I'll figure it out sooner than later I'm sure.

GO CUBS!!!!

Ok, I hate the Broncos, we all know this, but on KBPI this morning (second morning in a row) I was laughing my ass off at this song thing they made bashing the Chiefs. I really hope the Chiefs annihilate the Broncos, but this song was damn funny.  I can't remember any of the lyrics, but they made it sound like a Megadeath song, funny stuff.

I have to go get Laetitia's emmissions tested today.  In Colorado you have to check the output of toxins from your car every two years before they let you register it, quite stupid if you ask me. So I get to go spend $20 or $30 to have some dude hook my car up to a computer and rev the engine up to 6000 RPM's just to see if it realeases too much shit into the air, if it does, I have to pay to fix it before I can register my car.  Sometimes I hate this state.  But then I remember that I'm going to go driving in the Mountains this weekend just for the hell of it.  Woo hoo!!!

I don't have much to say today, I'm not too exciting today, sorry.   To make up for my boringness I'll present you with a new Wilson picture on the Wilson page, new MP3 that everyone should like, picture of the day, and for the second time ever, my picture is on joblessjimmy.com -- go find me.

October 01, 2003

October's here. I almost had to scrape my windshield this morning, which is odd.  Usually only have to do that 5-8 times a year out here, but the wipers were making a slight scraping noise when they whisked away the morning dew this morning.   Holy cow that sounded gay as hell, I swear I'm not that lame that I talk like that regularly!

Nice work by the Twinkies and Cubbies yesterday - two road game upsets that I was pulling for!  If they can both polish off their respective series', I'll be a really happy camper.  This gets pathetic - I am now dreaming about Seahawks games.  Last night I dreamed of two of them, both quite weird scenerios.  We are going to beat Green Bay this weekend 48-28, however, Matt Hasselbeck will throw eight (8), yes EIGHT interceptions.  Humph, that'll hurt the ol' QB rating.  Then the week after that, I didn't know this was possible but dreams don't lie - we will beat San Fran 3-1.  This is a football game, but my dream somehow said the score will be 3-1.   I really must have no life whatsoever if all I can dream about is my football team.

I packed last night, today I get to move.  The only thing I hate more than moving is folding laundry.  Not at all looking forward to moving the TV or couches, but we'll see what we can do.  So I was exhausted last night and went to bed around 10:30, so there I am at 5:30 this morn' rolling out of bed and I go to the kitchen to make some eggs - well dipshit, you can't do that - your kitchen is all clean and all your food is basically packed away along with dishes - no breakfast for Bryan today :o(   So I went to the gym and barely worked out, did 6 sets of military press and 3 sets of skull crushers and called it a day, I'm such a puss today.  I'll be moving furniture and stuff tonight so I guess that can count for my workout today.

I'm not going to send a mass email with my new address and all that on it as who of you will actually ever mail anything to me?  If you want my address - email me and it's yours.   Today's MP3 is a special one, dedicated to me moving, check it if you want, but you won't like it - nobody likes the same music I do, but these guys just have a lyric for every occasion (no, it's not slipknot).  I'm VERY proud of the MP3 selection by the way, but I bet no more than 15 of you dipshits download it.

Picture of the day is new, but I haven't decided what to put there yet - probably something outdoorsey.

I'm getting caught up at work for once, amazing huh?  Today is burrito day, I bet you wish you could have delicious Chipotle for lunch today don't you?

I want to hike this weekend -- Saturday as I need to watch the Seahawks on Sunday.  Who wants to go?  I may just have to go alone.  I feel like driving in the mountains and checking out the leaves and trees and stuff.  I may just drive all the way up to Steamboat early Saturday morning solo so I can be on my own time, who knows who knows.  Hell, maybe I'll even find a random 14er that's pretty easy (Quandary) and climb in on Saturday if there's no signs of snow - but again, we'll se we'll see.  SHIT!  I forgot my pictures again, I have climbing/hiking pictures from early August I've been meaning to post for 2 months now, but I'm sure they're packed away in a box somewhere right now.  Ok, I'm rambling.   Have a good day, but if you're reading this in the afternoon, have a great evening! :o)   (by the way, better mood today! whew!)
