July 31, 2003

Sweet, we're going to get to 20,000 unique visitors for July - that's 2 months in a row with 20,000 different people coming to fleetmack.com.  Goal = 25,000 by 2004 and 50,000 monthly visitors by 2005 - let's do this.

FYI - today is George Bush day on Fleetmack.com.  If you don't know my stance, it ain't too hard to figure it out.

What's with these dreams?  Again I dreamed of beating the shit out of a guy with a baseball bat for breaking into my car.  All these dreams are preparing me for my future.  I honestly feel very very sorry for someone.  These dreams are justifying hitting a man in the face with a baseball bat about 20 times.  I dare someone to break into my car, I'll unleash all my fury that I've bottled up in myself on this guy's face with a Louisville Slugger.  I love waking up from these dreams, I'm happy because Laetitia is ok and I'm happy because I beat the tar out of her thief the previous night while sleeping.

PAYDAY!! WOO HOO!!!  I'm going to an ISU Alumni Association happy hour tonight after work, hopefully that'll be a cool time.  It's right outside of Golden so I won't have much of a drive.  Giddy up.  I'm all dorked up for it in plaid and my glasses and uncombed hair - total Iowa State mode as that's what I wore to class for 4 years if I actually got up in time to not throw on a hoodie and my...uhm....(scratching my head to try to remember which hat I wore in college since I didn't yet have my slipknot hat).....uhm....OH!!! ....copenhagen hat.

I can't wait for my TV to get delivered - Saturday is the day - here's the TV I bought - Toshiba 42" Wide-Screen HDTV.  WOO HOO!!!!

Today's MP3 of the day is dedicated to the President of the United States and everyone who voted for him.  Pic of the day is new, and the forums continue to be up and running with Supergreg as my new avatar.

Hahahhahaha, I just put my profile on match.com for the hell of it, let's see what happens - dates are never bad, however, girlfriends are very bad!!!   If you're that bored and want to go check out my profile my username is fleetwd79

July 30, 2003

First off - sorry, it'll be a few days before I have time to respond to emails, even if you're my best friend in the world.  I'm not going on messanger the rest of the week and won't be in the forums, sorry, got a ton of shit to get done.

Time for the 3rd ever Fleetmack.com Dream update - but this time I won't trick you into you thinking it was real, but there's no way you would unless your brain is an equivilent to that of Ozzy Osbourne's.

So, as usual, we start out with me deciding to walk to my car.  This time it's becuase I forgot to turn the alarm on her.  This is taking place in the driveway of my neighbor's house back in Carroll, Iowa.  As I activate my alarm, some guy runs out from behind it with a crowbar.  This is a huge man, bald head, sporting a wife-beater and a du-rag on his noggin.  He starts running at me with a crowbar so I hit the "panic" button on my alarm and my alarm starts sounding.  I scream for help, and as I do this, crowbar guy goes after my friend (not sure who it was)....

....The next thing we know, about 10 of us are being held hostage inside this house and we have called the cops.  One female cop arrives and immediately crowbar guy starts firing his 9 milly at her.  We are all ducked down in the fetal position in the corner of the house trying to avoid getting hit by the bullets as gunfire keeps going and going.  Suddenly it stops and wife-beater crowbar guy states that he only has one clip left.   The female cop hears this and attacks him.  The wrestle for awhile and come out on top.  We end up forgiving the crowbar guy and dropping charges so he walks away.

Suddenly there is a gun to my head and I realize the female cop is Jamie Lee Curtis.  Again - suddenly, we're in an underwater gunfight.  Jamie Lee shoots crowbar.  He's down.  but NO! Just like in a horror movie, he gets back up and shoots Jamie in the head.  Is she dead?  NO!  She revives and shoots crowbar guy dead, but not before he can fire and shoot Jamie dead.  So they're both dead.  I now go back to my part-time job in the sweater department at dillards.

Now that's a fucked up dream.

In reality - I bought a wide-screen HDTV last night, woo hoo!!!   That's is, updates are around, I think....

July 29, 2003

Sorry, don't really have the time today.  Got shit to do, then meetings, then company picnic, hopefully I can update something later.  Until then - MUCH PROPS to Matt Boell for hooking me up with the world's best avatar in my forums.   Go see for yourself.

Have a good one.  Nothing new today except the quote becuase I just always feel the need to do at least that :)  But look at the new pix I posted yesterday and the forums are always updated by other people - so there's always something new for you here :)

July 28, 2003

Well, I'm back from Sausagefest 2003 in Minneapolis, wow, what a crazy time.  I don't want to go into too much detail for everything so I'll just sum it up.  Thursday night I landed and Matt & I went straight to the Pickled Parrot or something like that.  We met up with Matt's co-workers then Kristine, Tamra, Kim, Melanie and Molly met us out.  We stayed until close that night then went to Kris & Tamra's place and played Pandora's Tupperware Bowl.  Use your imagination to figure out what that game is.   I  got a hilarious message from Kris the next morning, if I get time I'll turn it into an MP3 and post it.

Saturday Matt and I wasted the day, went thrift-shopping and bought beer and food and played horseshoes all day.  We rule.  Then Tyler and Jeff got to Minneapolis around 5:30 or so and we started drinking heavily.  We then went and met up with the rest of us at some dive bar that ruled. Played foosball, played golden tee, did several shots, drank plenty of beer, good times.

Saturday we were on the boat all day.  Too many stories to tell.  Let's just say it ruled, nice weather, lots of women and beer, lots of funny stories that I'm not going to share with anyone, but you know I have pictures to share with you :)   Went out downtown Saturday night to a bunch of meat-market type places where I proceeded to go in complete Bryan Mack mode and win a $20 bet with Tyler :)  I told you ladies love me :)  I was dancing with this one girl for like 2 hours and my shirt was soaking wet when I was done, literally.  Probably could have brought her home with me, but 2 things... 1) I didn't want to  2) They played a tight RATM song and I started moshing in the bar and kind of scared her away.  Fun times!  :)  So then I ran into Fateem and her cousin so I hung out with them for awhile.

Got back to Denver around 9ish, got in my car and drove home and now I cannot sleep so I am sitting here updating, but now I'm listening to the deftones so I'm all happy about this.  This song title rules, Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event.

Ok, I'm not going to type any more right now, I"m going to go eat chips & salsa and start watching the second season of the Simpson's DVD again.  From here I will shower, get 2 hours of sleep, go to work, then guess what - MY WRIST IS RECUPERATED FINALLY!!  I get to start lifting weights again tomorrow.  YAY I'M LIFTING AGAIN YAY!  That's it, special ed's picture is going up again today.  Have a great week.  And, as always, use the forums and sign my guestbook :)

By the way, I got the new Playboy today.  It's the NFL preview issue.   They predicted the Seahawks to take a wild card slot.  Beware and fear the Seattle Seahawks, it is our year.

And lastly, highlight of the weekend.  I'm on the plane going back to Denver last night reading a book I hadn't touched in close to a year.  Apparently my bookmark was a picture of my ex-girlfriend.  The guy next to me on the plane says "Is that your girl?  She's hot!"   And I reply with "No she's not but yes, she's hot.  Too bad she's a lying, conniving, deceitful, cheating bitch."    The guy next to me replies with, "Yeah, I could picture that.  That pretty much sums up all women."   We shared a laugh, it ruled.

July 24, 2003

It must be raining pigs, Powerman 5000 is on the cover of the Des Moines Register today! Go there and check out the crazy Norwegian bass player, that guy is a friggin' maniac.  So yeah, that was a good start today as that's in the "morning rotation".  Gotta check out the Register, the ISU Daily, Denver Post (whew, Kobe isn't the first article today, the 4th article today) - Also gotta go to Jobless Jimmy and some other randoms, such as fantasy baseball (i'm losing this week but am now in 3rd place) and the Bill Simmons Archive, although there's usually only a new article on there every week or so.  Want some more links?  You should regularly visit this forum, funny stuff is getting posted there - feel free to post your own funny stuff there as well.

So I'm out of this heat-driven state for 3 days effective this afternoon.   Sausagefest here we come!  I'm sure there will be pictures posted for you to enjoy.  Gonna play some frisbee golf, gonna boat and grill, gonna hit up the Minneapolis bars for the first time since October.  Gonna drink some delicious Guinness and other random beers.  As the Kool-Aid guy would say - OOOOOOOHHH YEAH!!!!

Haha, I'm a loser.  Anyone watch South Park last night?   "huhuhuh, ya shot me, huhuhuhu, we're gay, huhuhuhuhu"  "huhuhuhuhu, you're playing cops, huhuhuhu, you're gay.  we're playing gynocolegist, huhuhuhuhuhu"    That's not funny unless you saw it.

New random picture of the day, I'll select one completely at random today, close the eyes and pick one.  MP3 of the day will be something from Les Claypool's Frog Brigade - which in case you don't know, is the bass player from Primus' other band.  They're bad ass.  Have a SAFE weekend, I'm out.  Please use the forums and sign my guestbook (ya didn't see that coming, did you?)

Ahhh what the hell - happy weekend - here's a Wilson picture for you. Hell, the Wilson picture today isn't going to be Wilson, it's Milton - haven't heard that name in awhile, have you?!  I guess the picture is taken in Wilson's house so it qualifies as a Wilson picture.

July 23, 2003

So I'm getting really sick of 2003 treating us like this, this year has been sheer hell.  But again, I need to ask for prayers yet again for another one of my very very good friends and his family.  2003 has been a challenge for my entire group of friends, but we'll get through it.

Wow, imagine that, Kobe's on the front page again.  WHO CARES?!?!?!?

And just like that, Seneca Wallace is officially signed with the Seahawks.  Hopefully he'll play in the pre-season game vs. the Broncos here on August 29th, I'll be in attendance.  Seriously though, they Seahawks may not win the Super Bowl this year, they may not make the Super Bowl this year - but I'll be damned if they don't win the division and make it to the playoffs.   They are going to be the underdog team all year that is going to "come out of nowhere" all while they've really been quite a force for about 4 years now, only plagued by injuries and the like.  But this year, look out.  Look out.

So I take off tomorrow night for Minneapolis and Sausagefest 2003, I'm really looking forward to it.  Hopefully play some frisbee golf, go for a big run, drink several hundred beers, and spend an entire day on the lake grilling, boating, and drinking.  Man this is going to rule!

I've had it with wearing contacts.  These uncomfortable discs get thrown in my eyes every day and make life miserable for me.  My eyes itch all day and they turn beet red and I have to squint to see.  What other choices do I have?   1) I can live like Stevie Wonder  2) I can wear the uncomfortable pieces of fiberglass on my nose all day and look like a dipshit.  This inspires today's MP3 of the day...more so the lyric clip I will add to the MP3 of the day.

Today's picture will be me looking very stoned at the top of the trough on Sunday's Long's Peak climb.  Enjoy and have a good day I suppose.  By the way - the Seahawks rule.   And I guess one more thing, since I say it every day - USE THE FORUMS!!        SIGN THE GUESTBOOK!!!

July 22, 2003

Tuesday is here and I really don't give a funk.  This is like my Wednesday already since I have Friday off work.  Again - who cares. Not I.  Went to Old C's last night for the first time since hockey was over, had some delicious 90 Shilling and 1554 and the like, yup, sure did.  I took the beers, drained them down my esophogus, and urinated the remains out my urethra straight into a urinal in the bathroom while absorbing all the alocohol I possibly could.  This is a typical procedure when consuming beverages.  Don Beverage, hahahhahaha.  Ok, so nobody got that joke except us white-water rafting folk.  I'm rambling.

Green Day sucks now, why the hell am I listening to this?

Pictures are still up (and probably will be until 2054) of the Long's Peak Climb.  I was talking to Ryan last night, it seems most definate that we're going to climb at least 3 more 14ers before the snow arrives for the winter.  Rock on.

Use the forums, you all suck this week in that department, come on, use 'em!!

Peter Worrell is now an Av.  We're going to be so tough this year, man I wish Roy came back for one more year.

And lastly, if I hear one more funking thing about Kobe Bryant I'm going to go postal.   I'm going to withdraw my original consensus that he is innocent and this is all you will hear me say about this until this whole mess is over.  The man is a professional basketball player.  This automatically puts him in the "cocky, lying, criminal" catagory.  He cheats on his wife and admits it willingly.  He can't look at the camera while he's talking about it to the reporters.  The man needs to go to jail for at least 10 years and I hope the folks over by Vail do just that.   I'm sick of seeing him every time I turn on the TV..and trust me...we have it worse than you.  ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN NEWS, these channels have him on there 24/7, but here in Denver, turn on NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, UPN - whatever - it's LOCAL news here so they feel the need to talk about it all day long.  Man it pisses me off.  Who the hell cares?   It's a basketball player?!  Throw them all in jail for all I care, basketball is for slackjawed faggots anyways.  How is it exciting watching 10 oversized tools jog up and down a court for 40 minutes then you watch them actually try for about 3 minutes at the end of the game, all while making millions of dollars?  Put those fools in a hockey arena or a football field and I'll show you where the real athletes are.   Go to jail, Kobe, and don't come back.  You waste valuable sportscenter time when all I want to do is see stats of my Royals for the night.

Ok, enough on that.  Usual updates are up, MP3 of the day has special meaning today, enjoy.

July 21, 2003

Wow.  Wow.  Wow.  Wow.

I'd say yesterday was the scariest day of my entire life.  Yesterday is the proudest accomplishment of my life.  Long's Peak is no joke, none at all.   I'm scared of heights.  I shook I was so scared.  I almost tunred back about 4 times.  I walked across ice with a mile drop straight down if I slipped.   I climed up rocks with no grip on anything at a 70 degree angle, if I fell, I was dead.  I used no ropes.  I wore tennis shoes.  I was scared shitless.   I was shaking I was so scared and had to stop for about 20 minutes to stop shaking.   I puked I was so scared, but I swallowed it so I wouldn't make a hazard for other climbers.   But you know what? I made it to the top.

Ryan and I started climbing Long's Peak (14,255 feet about 10 miles west of Estes Park) at about 2:20A.M. on Sunday.  Once we got to the keyhole around 6:00A.M., we thought we were near the summit, but the scariest 3 1/2 hours of my life was before me before I'd reach the top.  I made it.  I was scared, but I made it.   I will brag myself here, this climb isn't for everyone, me included.  If you're scared of heights (I'm petrified of heights) this climb isn't for you.  This is no hike - this is a class 4 (out of 4) mountain climb.  This is a black-diamond in climbing 14ers.  It's a hard climb.  I made it.  If you can make this climb, I am very very very impressed with you.  Few can make this climb, and I am VERY proud that I could do it.  The pictures do no justice whatsoever for the climb, but here you go.  Pictures from my 17 mile/13 hour climb yesterday.  Enjoy.

This page here captures the pictures I was too scared to take, but this gives you a general idea of some of the exact same climbing we went through, scary stuff.

Went to the mile-high national races in Morrison on Saturday during the day.  Good times, sitting around, had a few beers, watched some cool-ass top-fuelers and funny cars race at 300MPH .   It was louder than hell.  Standing behind the pits you inhale so much gas, I thought I was going to puke.  But man, it was cool as hell.  Got to hang out with a whole bunch of Tigges' and Schrecks and it was a great day, pictures are below the Long's Peak pictures on the above link.

No more today, I don't feel like updating.  Picture of the day is me on Long's Peak summit signing the book of those lucky enough to reach the top.

Side note - I lost my cell phone.  I'm not getting a new one.   I'll send an email to those this concerns.

July 18, 2003

Friday, sure is.  So last night I went over to Amanda's place and hung out with all the Schrecks and Tigges's in the world I think.  Ok, so there was 10 or so of them, and one Dunn.  Not Harry Dunn though (dumb and dumber).  Had a few shastas and that was about it, talked racing and hockey, good times had by all!   So I've decided I'm going to go to the Mile High Nationals with Chris on Saturday afternoon.  It sounds really f**kin' cool!   The races seem awesome and you just can't beat sitting outside in the sun all day drinking delicious beer, can you?

Sunday I get up at about 1:00 in the morning and head up to Long's Peak to climb my first 14er, I'm REALLY looking forward to that as well.  Hopefully the weather will be nice becuase I don't want to get struck by lightning.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts right now.

My eyes hurt, damn it I hate allergies and need lasik surgery BAD!!! I think I'm going to get it done in April for sure.

So that's my weekend plans.  Thanks for actually starting to use the forums!  They're improving, so continue, and read up on how to load an avatar for my ghetto forums, one or six of you have done it already, rock on.

Wow, apparently I live in a pretty popular area.

And lastly, I must inform you all of my latest boycott.  My cell phone has been boycotted.  If I plan on returning to my apartment sometime before midnight, my cell phone stays at home, it will no longer be with me.  I hate being available all the time to everyone.  I hate when people get pissed at me for not calling back when I really just don't want to call them back (since I don't answer my phone)...and if I really need one in an emergency situation, they're everywhere so I can use someone else's.   So yes, now you all can't get pissed at me for not returning your calls because most likely, I don't yet have the message.  Treat my cell phone (my only phone) as if it were a house phone.  Also - quit sending me text messages, the point of those is stupid.  If you have something important to say to me, tell it to my voice mail (since I won't answer my phone).  Stop it with these stupid text messages.

Have a good weekend, be safe!!

July 17, 2003

Well, I got a letter back from the vice president of student affairs today.  From the tone of his letter, it sounds like he's getting way too many emails about this and he's getting pissed off at the world.  Read both the letter I wrote and the reply I received here.  So yeah, use that same forum to let me know your thoughts on the ISU tailgate topic.  Playboy didn't rate us in the top 25 party schools for nothin'!  Now they're trying to shut down Cyclone country.  Great, grand, wonderful.  Sarcasm.

Marilyn Manson - why the hell did I never listen to this before?  Man they're good!  Only reason it's weird I like them is because about 90% of all bands I like are either dead or broken up.  Marilyn Manson is awesome!

It's official, I'm climbing Long's Peak with Ryan on Sunday. We'll summit at 14,255 feet, should be a sweet climb.  My digi-cam can hold like 350 pictures so needless to say, pictures will be posted Monday or Tuesday.  Check out some info on what and where I'll be on Sunday's climb. It'll be my first 14er, so after I conquer that, only 53 more in Colorado to go! Woo Hoo!

Since I'm in a hiking mood today, picture of the day will be something I really don't want to post but it's the only hiking picture I can find right quick.   It'll be my second straight day of posting a picture with Stephanie, what gives with me?! sheesh. MP3 will be the same today.  Also - the spam rant is up.

July 16, 2003

Hola todos, kinda don't feel like updating this again, imagine that.   Had a good night last night, you all know what I did you nosey bastards.  Ok, so I kinda egg you on then give you no details, I realize that I do this - but that's the way I am :o)  So mind your own business about how my date went, because as you've noticed, not only do I not talk about how my dates went on here, but I don't even give out the girls' names or pictures like I used to with former bitches (so I lied, I didn't delete all pictures of her yet)

So yeah, that was last night.  GO AMERICAN LEAGUE!! WOO HOO!! This means the Royals will get home field advantage in the World Series - rock on!

Forums are doing fairly well now, we're up to around 800 unique visitors a day (to fleetmack in general, not just the forums) but we're down this month.  We're only at 10,000 unique visitors so far this month, way down from last month.  Guess taking the Wilson page down could be hurting me huh?  Oh well.  By the way - if you haven't yet - sign my guestbook!

I Put some polls up in the forums for who will be World Series Champs, Super Bowl Champs, and Stanley Cup Champs - go there and vote!!!!

Hmmm, yup, nothing else to say.  Usual updates, MP3 and picture.   I keep forgetting to bring some files I have at home with me so I'm unable to upload my new updates.  Whatever.  Adios todos.

July 15, 2003

PAYDAY!  Again, thank God, I needed it badly.  So last night I went to the mall, cooked, did laundry, ironed (yes, I ironed, shut up), went to Wal-Mart to get some new prescription eye drops (like ironing wasn't bad enough, I had to go to Wal-Mart!), and watched my AIC DVD again.  Yup, you all envy me, I know, it's pathetic.

Yeah, so I'm a geek.  You all know I buy my razors on ebay, but today (yesterday) - I bought shampoo on ebay.  Damn right!   They charge like $9 for a 8 oz bottle at the salon - why not buy 64oz of it for $22 online?   Sheesh.

So far it looks like Josh (aka - Batman) is the only one with a good idea for a date, check it.

So yeah, that's what I got going tonight.  Got a hella busy day of work again today.  Actually, I think I just look for excuses to not update this site anymore.  I'm very bored with it.  If you'd all start using the damn forums a little more, perhaps I wouldn't be so bored with it.  Then again, I haven't done shit to administer it yet.

I wrote my spam rant this weekend but keep forgetting it at home so I cannot upload it.  I'm such a tool.

I'm going to put up a new MP3 today, new picture today (it's hilarious), and for the hell of it - a random new Wilson picture for you as well.  It's a doozey!  Have a good one.

July 14, 2003

Happy Monday, payday is tomorrow thankfully.  Because of lack of fundage, this was a very low key weekend.  Friday I went to Gov's after work then just went to Savilla's, Sports Column, and Above the Dove for awhile, didn't drink much after Gov's though for the aforementioned reason.  Saturday Josh, Duane, and Andy came by and we chilled by my pool for awhile, then went to Applebee's, then Andy and I went and hung out with Rikelle and Ethan for awhile.  Pretty chill night, thankfully, I needed one of them.

Yesterday I did nothing, watched movies, cooked, etc.  I watched 40 Days and 40 Nights - funny movie, very funny movie.  I really didn't expect it to be much more than a pathetic attempt at being funny, like in American Pie rip-off mode.  But yeah, it made me laugh.

Other than that, not a too terribly exciting weekend.  Have a date tomorrow night (one I'm actually looking forward to, for once!) and that's about it for this week, yup yup. Click here if you want to offer some helpful advice, as usual. Pretty busy today, not updating pix or anything, sorry.

July 11, 2003

Last night summarizes why it's great living single.

Went to Dave & Busters with Andy, his girl Kristy (Kristie?), and her friend.   Yeah - her friend is smokin' hot (to me) - meets all of the "Mack Criteria" except one, which I don't yet know of.  Short, dark hair, nice body, at least one tattoo, and gorgeous.  (Only requirement we're not sure of yet is the "one piercing other than ears or navel").  So yeah, it was a non-date, but I told her (as opposed to asking her) that we're going out sometime next week, she complied.  Why wouldn't she?  I rule.

So yeah, livin' single.  Going out drinking beer, playing kickass D&B video games all night.  Rock on.  So I get home around midnight thinking I should go to bed, then I realize I'm single and tomorrow (today) is Friday.  I threw Swingers in the DVD player (classic single guy movie) and cracked open a few delicious Avalanche Ales and stayed up until 3 by myself.   If I had a girlfriend could I do any of that?   Go hang out with a random chick with GORGEOUS eyes and play video games, then stay up watching movies and drinking alone until 3:00?  I think not.  Rock on single life.

Picture of the day will be, hmmm, me with my rancid long hair, but with the girl from Vegas, just to show yet another reason why living single rules.

This weekned should be low key, probably chill by the pool, drink a whiskey/sour or sixteen, maybe watch X2 finally or T3.  There's just something about those movies named after a capital letter and a number that draws me to them.  Check out what Sarah thinks of me..funny stuff: alternative-jock-nerd-wannabe    good stuff :)

Ok, so that's it today, picture of the day will be...wait...I already typed that. MP3 of the day will be Cop Killer in honor of Paul Childs ...don't know what yet.  And just becuase the Wilson page is down doesn't mean I can't give  you a NEW WILSON PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great and SAFE weekend!

July 10, 2003

Whattup, I got a lot done last night.  Made a few phone calls I needed to make, went to wal-mart, went grocery shopping, did dishes and laundry, cooked. Wow, I rule.  My wrist isn't broken, but I have a torn tendon going to my left thumb.   The doctor showed me some exercieses to do, told me to take 9 advils a day (3 x 3), wear my wrist guard (i have them for snowboarding), and watch how I type and drive and stuff.  Hopefully it'll be better in a month or so. Also got some new kickass prescription eye drops.  Man, this is sounding like a posting board for a nursing home or something, shyte.

So yeah, tonight I'm going out with Andy, his girl, and some other girl who is pretty hot.  Not really a date but we'll see what wood, fleet wood, can turn it into.  I tried sounding like bond, james bond right there - it didn't work.

I got some GREAT ideas for revamping this site last night, I dunno, they just came to me.  I won't have time to incorporate them for awhile.  I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting a DSL connection this fall, that'd give me time to actually do some stuff I've been meaning to try.  Hmm, what else.  I woke up at 5 this mornign to go running and realized I had no running shoes at home, so I sat up and watched baseball tonight and sports center for 2 hours this morning, exciting huh?

Keep it up with the forums. I'm thinking of posting my daily news in a forum from now on then you can post replies to what you think of my day and all that jazz.  I'm going to post a forum for each article on the site and link it to the article, so you don't have to email me, you can directly post your comments there so everyone can read them.  I don't care, maybe the criticism will be constructive in some cases.

I have another idea of something funny I'm going to do, but I'm not going to tell you about it. Aren't I tricky?

Ok, usual stuff is up and around.  Take 'er twice.

July 9, 2003

Guess I was right, Denver is officially the #4 worst city in the United States to drive in. Woo hoo :o(

I'd like to say, first off, sorry if I haven't replied to any emails of yours in the last couple of weeks, havne't really had time and now my inbox is just stacked with tons of shit mails and real mails and all sorts of junk and I probably won't get time for a long while to sift thorough them.  If you'd like to hear back from me and haven't yet, please email me again.  (I haven't forgotten to reply to your inquiry yet, crimsonraven@mailbolt.com - just haven't had time yet, sorry)

I'm again becoming very blah with this site.  I think it's time for a makeover or something.  Oh yeah, don't have the time for that.  I'm really losing motivation to do anything with this site at all, perhaps I'll put up some new feedbacks sometime today. Blah.

Went to CB & Potts with Josh and Ryan last night, didn't stay out too late though, yup.  I have a non-date on Thursday night, don't ask.  I'm going to use Norton Ghost today for the first time in like 3 years, pretty exciting huh?

I go to the doctor today to see if my wrist is broken, hope it isn't. Today's MP3 has something to do with that.

I don't feel like typing today, maybe a new picture, we'll see.  Blah, I'm bored with this.   adios.

Did I mention that I ran into Troy Vogl and Ben Daly at the Blues Traveler show on the 4th?  Small world, huh?

Man this summer is going fast.  I didn't do anything last night besides clean every square millimeter of my apartment, it's in top-notch shape now beeyatch.  I guess I cooked too, but nothing to extravagant.  I need to go running today again, my wrist is still in extreme pain so for the third consecutive week, there shall be no weight lifting, but I'm holding true to the diet for the mostpart.

Want to live with me in reality?   How about in a fantasy world?  Those are links as to how you can do either, and with both of them I give you money! $$$$$$

Jimmy's tip today is off the hook it's so awesome, nice work Jimmy, we're hoping you don't have to get a job so you can keep this up!  Hopefully you and tuckermax's t-shirt venture will offer you some real cash.

Check this article out and let me know what you think, I f**king hate panhandlers - get a job.  You say you can't find a job?  How do you know that if you spend all day and every day on every intersection of this damn city with a cardboard sign with your dog?  Do I want to give you money so your dog can live?  NO! Go sell your dog to a chinese restaurant, much more productive than begging for cash.   Plus, after you sell your dog you will only have to support yourself, not your dog as well.  I hate panhandlers.

Yup, I plan on posting all contest winners and the like shortly, so if you haven't yet sent me a picture of you with a prize, please do so, I will wait to post until I have pictures of each of you with a prize, the new contest is currently on hold.

Forums are live and well as is the guestbook, FleetChat is up and ready to go but won't go live until about October.  This isn't a CGI script like the last one I wrote, this is a PHP program that I downloaded and tweeked, just like the forums.

Hmm, what else what else. The Fleebs had a pretty bad day yesterday but we're glad to see Roy Oswalt back from the DL, hopefully he'll finish the season just as he did last year.  That guy's a beast.  Hmmm, nothing else new here.  I have a couple of people back in Iowa I'd like you to pray for who have some rough times coming up in the near future.  That's about it for today.  Oh, Maddox has a new post up today too, check it if you'd like.   I still owe that guy huge, he gets me a ton of hits every month, and double-J's Jobless site is almost matching it anymore - THANKS GUYS!!

Whaddup, what a long a$$ weekend, wow.  Went to the bar straight after work on Thursday, bad idea jeans.  Practically passed out right at the bar at like 9:00 or something, so I drank water the rest of the night.  I actually revived myself and was doing really well by midnight or so.  Then Duane and I got shot down royally by 2 chicks, Duane was too drunk to remember his own phone number when she asked for it, so I got it out of my cell phone so he could look at his own celly # but then he was unable to write it down.  At least his chick asked for his number, mine just got frustrated with me and walked away.  Good times at the Giggling Grizzly.  So yeah, needless to say - Thursday there was no driving home for Bryan, crashed downtown.

Went to Red Rocks and saw Blues Traveler on the 4th of July.  Almost got in a fight with a hippie, that was pretty fun, he was such a dumbass.  He was trying to sell fat tires outside the gates but he wouldn't sell me one becuase I was making fun of him, so we stood by him and killed his sales.  I honestly almost punched him in the ear like Edward Norton would do.  So yeah, they were taping that show for a DVD, so I guess look for a Blues Traveler DVD in the near future.  It was sweet watching the fireworks of the entire Denver metro from Red Rocks, muy bueno.   So yeah, after the show I went downtown to some rooftop party but someone pulled the fire alarm so we ended up going to Gov's.  So yeah, needless to say - Friday there was no driving home for Bryan, crashed downtown.

Saturday I laid on my couch for 10 hours, it ruled.  Met up with Bob, Josh, and Karina at Ruby Tuesdays then headed down to Giggz to meet up with Cori and her friends for $2 call vodka's.  Stayed there 'till close.  So yeah, needless to say - Saturday there was no driving home for Bryan, crashed downtown.

Yesterday, the day of the week that reeks of rest but all we do is catch our breath so we can wait naked into the bloody pool and place our hands on the big black book? Oh, sorry, that's from a poem Corey Taylor wrote entitled Omega. I could go on and on but, let's move on shall we?  (nobody will get that except Renze and Buck most likely)

So yeah, planned on staying in last night, but Josh called around 9er and wanted to go out with "Nichole and her sister to play foosball".  Sounded like a plan, what I didn't realize is that Nichole's sister is a hot as hell ex-stripper who loves foosball who ended up winning a wet t-shirt contest last night.  Damn, the one night I don't bring my camera!

As much as I hate the Lakers and Kobe Bryant, this story is just bullshit.   This bitch better not get a settlement from him to not press charges.

By the way, I've officially sold out.  The website finally made me some cash, $450 to be exact. (I lied, that's not exact, but very close)  We won't get into detail, but we'll just say that the bashing pages of my apartment complex are no longer up and I've changed the page into an advertisement for them.  Please click it so I can keep my #1 google search.

I present to you, the community of Fleetville, U.S.A.

Now for some terribly upsetting news.  For reasons we won't get into, the Wilson page will be temporarily taken down, not sure if this will be temporary or not, but it's going down.

On a light side - there's still forums and a guestbook to use! WOO HOO!  I gotta go now.

July 3, 2003

Well, went to the Rockies game last night and watched fireworks afterwards.  Luckily we didn't take the escalator.  Luckily we took the stairs - not by choice - but becuase that thing had already happened by the time we got out of our seats.  That's the exact escalator we would have used though, right where we sat.   Whew!  So yeah, went to the game - my streak is alive - every Rockies game I've ever attended - we've won.  Too bad every Avalanche game I've gone to, we've lost.  Tonight should be bad, Cori and her friends went (are going) rafting today over in Glenwood Springs so I won't meet up with them until later.  May be meeting up with a pretty fine ass female tonight if I'm lucky ;o)

So yeah, avoiding escalators, wearing shorts at work.  Shyte - it hit 100 degrees yesterday according to my weather bug, ridiculous!  Hmmm, what else what else.  Dammit, Dontrelle Willis didn't get a win last night, that pisses me off.   Not really, but I wish he would have won.  The Fairfield Fleebs are going to just annihilate the Bearded Clams this week.  (aka - my fantasy baseball team will whip mule's fantasy baseball team)

I really don't have much to say today. have a VERY safe 4th of july!!!!! Enjoy a "patriotic" MP3 today, it's a combo of summer and USA, again - enjoy.

ALL FEMALES - PLEASE CLICK HERE TO ANSWER A QUICK POLL QUESTION, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CLICK A BUTTON (ok, I lied, you need to register then click a button)

Yikes, it's hot out already, this is going to be ridiculous.  Cleaned house, did laundry, then went and helped out Rikelle last night, but was over there until midnight so I'm quite low on sleep.  Tonight I'm going to the Rockies game with my sister (who is visiting from Chicago), probably watch fireworks after the game, then lay low.  I'm kinda low on fundage these days and plan on going out Thurs, Fri, and Sat night so blah blah blah.

Check it - some silver-chain wearing wig signed my guestbook all pissed, what a tool.

For once, I've impressed myself with my humor.  Check out the feedback I left on this article.

Got some good stuff starting to take place in the forums, not bad for week 1, hopefully by football season that thing'll be rollin' like a blunt.

I'm addicted to the Bloodhound gang right now, why is that?  I think I go in strong phases with music.  In 2003 about all I've listened to is Alice in Chains and the Deftones.  In 2002 all I listened to was Slipknot and Stone Sour, in 2001 all I listened to was Slipknot and Fleetwood Mac, in 2000 ALL I listened to was Sublime.  But somehow, I tend to stick to my roots of Johnny Cash, Slipknot, and Fleetwood day in and day out.  So where did the Bloodhound Gang fit in here?   I'm confused.

Anyways, I've got a lot more important shit to do than this right now.   Out.  Updates are around.

How fast is this summer going?! Honestly?!  Well, it's been good so far though, 5 Rockies games, 2 Snowboarding trips ): although the ski season officially ends in 5 days :(, gone white water rafing, and gone camping 3 times and it's only July 1!   We still have a wedding to go, a possible bachelor party to go, Sausagefest I in Minneapolis in late July, the 4th is this weekend, and the Radiohead concert weekend.   This summer rules.

Went to Ruby Tuesday's with Bob and Josh last night - happy hour all day every day so I had some delcious gin & tonics and I went back to the early college days and drank a couple of 7&7's - it'd been at least 3 years since I'd had one of those.  Played some golden tee, did ok one round and downright awful the other round.   Got a pretty prospective phone call and began the fantasy baseball week off on the right foot with my boy Teixeira hitting a homer and Ibanez doing the same.  Mule's going down this week!

So yeah, my sister gets here tomorrow until Sunday, think we're going to see the D-Backs play the Rockies tomorrow night, then Thursday'll just be downright sweet.   I have no clue what I'm doing yet, but there's so many options on the table it's unreal.  Much better than sitting at Old Chicago until midnight:30 last year (on July 4th) waiting for my girlfriend to get off work so we could go home and go to bed.   Ahhh, as I said yesterday, the single life is so much better!

Keep it up on the forums,(THERE'S A POLL UP WITH REGARDS TO THE BEST BAR IN AMES, IOWA - GO VOTE!) I promise that come fall I'll have time to tweak it so it's much cooler, but please register and start using them if you are interested at all.  Also - sign my damn guestbook if you haven't already, I'll stop asking for that once I get to 150 signings.

If I get one more junk mail about getting viagra or a bigger dick, I'm going to flip out...I sense a true rant coming on........

Usual updates are up.
